Weekend Getaway
The cabin isas described, Mack Lake was stunning. The cabin would be awesome for anybody that has 4 wheelers or snow mobiles as there are lots of trails for off road vehicles. We did enjoy the hiking trails that we found.

Great Getaway
This place was so clean! Usually I always see dust bunnies in rentals....not this one! The beds are comfy and cozy. Tons of linens. Close to Mio for supplies, eating and kayaking. We had a great time going down the Au Sable...my hubby and I were the only ones! I would recommend this cabin for sure! Also, Craig, the owner, is so easy to talk to! Thanks so much!

Family reunion
Extremely clean and nice to have paper towels, paper napkins, coffee filters already there. Loved sitting down by the lake. Appreciated the updates in kitchen and bathroom. Living room furniture a tad worn out. Accommodated us for the weekend very well. Thank you!

Nice place
Overall everything was great, it had everything we needed and was a nice place to get away. I was hoping the waterfront was going to be closer, based on the pictures, but wasn’t too far to get to. I wasn’t expecting to have to clean the whole place before we left, luckily I noticed a sign in the kitchen the morning we left with the list of things to do before I did leave! Overall was a good experience.

Perfect
It was everything stated and a little more. Communication is key with any rental like this corporate or private. These folks were exceptional with any questions. Beautifully kept, comfortable beds, very warm and cozy. Cute neighborhood. Not loud or anything obnoxious and centered in the national forest. Mio is so close for anything you might need. An amazing stay for sure and highly highly recommend.

Came back to stay
After a great experience staying previously, my family came back to stay the weekend. Love the lake access, communication with the hosts and cleanliness of the property. 4 adults and 1 teen fit comfortably. Very relaxing area with in a friendly neighborhood.

Well kept clean and comfty
We enjoyed our stay, home was comfortably updated and in the heart of the Huron National Forest, so cell phone service is little to none, internet is intermitted., Clean, well stocked with pots/pans etc.. beds are very good and comfortable.

Great house and additional lakeside access property.
This house was very clean, well decorated and maintained. There is also an additional lakefront lot within walking distance included that we used to launch off for kayaking.. Owner quickly responded for any questions. It is a nice neighborhood that is close enough to town for convenience and access to stores and activities, but far enough to have peaceful enjoyment while on vacation. Met a couple of neighbors and had friendly conversations. I also got to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Mack Lake and saw a few deer during an early morning kayak session.

Sufficient for a long weekend
Quiet area, close to the lake (you can walk or drive) Limited kitchen supplies, we cooked in a lot and found there was no lighter for the grill/fire pit, no cling wrap, wish there was more trash bags. Bedrooms get quite warm with only one AC unit. Overall, after we got the extra supplies we needed (and left things behind for the next guest) we enjoyed our stay, the kids enjoyed the fire pit and the lake

Would visit again
Very clean cabin. Thought the cabin was closer to the lake with the online pictures. Needed to contact the owners to see what and where the lake lot was actually located. They responded very quickly and we were pleasantly surprised with the amenities of the lake lot. We had a great time and would rent again.

Curtisville Deer Camp
Like new remodeled location that is the best equipped and cleanest I have used in the last ten years for this annual excursion. This cabin is an absolute find and a true value in the area. I fI could suggest anything for htis location, it would be to add a chest of drawers to each bedroom, fitted into the closets, to better accomodate clothing for extended stays. Thank you Kim & Craig and family for making this location available to us.

Lovely Cottage
Lovely cottage and perfect for our needs while visiting family in Curran. We stayed several weeks and enjoyed our stay. The cottage is comfortable, clean and cozy. Nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. You will not be disappointed. We plan on coming back next year to enjoy the fall. Radisovich Farms for fresh eggs and beef. The Creamory for awesome sandwiches and Ellie's Twelve Tables for Breakfast (try the sausage links... they were the best!). The owners and staff are great too

Relaxing getaway with 16 year old granddaughter
My youngest GD and I take a trip every year (since she was 9) for our birthdays. Last year because of the pandemic, we chose a cottage on a river but this year decided to find a cottage on a lake for better kayaking. This was perfect. Very comfortable and met all our needs plus we were very close to the lake which made almost daily kayaking possible (except for a couple rainy days). Guests should be aware there is little to no cell service and the WIFI seemed to disappear occasionally but did not stay out long. Beds were very comfortable, great bathroom and the chairs in the livingroom were so comfy. Also, a well equipped kitchen made meal prep a pleasure. We hope to go back next year.
