Porch sitting
I have stayed at this location before. I love it because it so nice and homey. Beds are comfortable. Regina has all the amenities covered if you forget something. Plenty of coffee! It’s wonderful to sit on the porch and rock or swing and watch the people over at Wally’s. Regina keeps in contact with you throughout your stay to make sure everything is going great for you. It’s the Best place I have stayed at since going to Mt. Airy (Mayberry).

Mayberry Welcome
The craftsman house was decorated with many pieces of artwork and antiques. It was larger than we expected, with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated. We enjoyed walking to Main St. shops and restaurants. Also, took a drive to Pilot Mountain State Park which was lovely! The highlight was all the Andy Griffith memorabilia. Brought back so many wonderful childhood memories!

Simply Lovely!!
My husband and I visited Mt Airy to celebrate my hubbys birthday. Since he is a HUGE Andy Griffith fan we reserved a sqaud car tour from Wally’s garage ~ literally a 1 min walk away. We not only enjoyed all there was to learn and see about Andy Griffith and his “Mayberry” but we also truly enjoyed the beauty and charm of this adorable 1920’s bungalow. Everything was just as expected and the hosts were so very thoughtful and helpful! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in for a short or log stay. Be sure to take time to enjoy the front porch ~ listen to the birds and just be still. Blessings to our wonderful hosts! We will be back :)

Front porch swingin’
Had a chance to get away for a couple of days and always wanted to visit Mt. Airy. The house is comfortable and you can see Wally’s filling station from the front porch. Sipping coffee on the front porch on a cool morning is the best part of the house and Regina is an awesome host. Hope to visit again one day.

This house is in a wonderful location, and Regina is a wonderful hostess. Everything that you could ask for was at the house and we could walk to all of the downtown attractions. My sister and I enjoyed relaxing and reading on the front porch. We will be back for another visit. Thank you for your hospitality!

Nice getaway!
My husband, myself, and five month old stayed a weekend at this house! The house is beautiful! Full of antique decor that has been meticulously staged! I loved the hosts hospitality and her quick responses if we were to have a question! The location is perfect - walking distance to Wally’s Service Station. My husband and I both agree that when we come back to Mt. Airy we would love to stay here again! 10/10

Mount Airy
We highly recommend this lovely home for your visit to Mount Airy. It was beautifully decorated, spacious and the beds were so comfortable! The location was close to everthing. The owners were great...quick to respond and very helpful! Would definitely stay there again!!

Amazing home away from home!
This home is so comfy, cozy, and clean! The home is close to the town of Mount Airy so you can come and go with ease. The front porch is so nice and relaxing. Regina goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your vacation. She is very easy to communicate with before and during your stay. Regina is also very knowledgeable and was able to answer any and all questions about activities we were interested in during our stay. Regina loves Mount Airy and she wants to make sure you love it also. We look forward to returning to Mount Airy soon!

Best Vacation Ever
This property was located almost in the heart of all of our activities, but far enough to relax and enjoy our down time. The owner could not have been more responsive to our needs and was attentive to every request we had. She even provided information on the local activities, so that we did not miss anything. The house was imaculate and we felt right at home from day one. By the end of the trip we did not want to leave. We will certainly be back and will only stay here.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
This stunning historic home is a hidden gem in Mt Airy. The home is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything one might need, and the beds were like sleeping on fluffy clouds! We began each day with coffee on the lovely porch and ended the day there as well. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs in the area but the owner here was like a family friend. She answered every question immediately & offered suggestions for dining and grocery shopping. I guarantee that you won’t want to leave if you stay here!

The Perfect Place
My husband and I decided to visit "Mayberry" for our 45th anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Stunning Historic Home
I took my husband to Mt Airy as a surprise trip over the 4th of July and we both absolutely loved Regina's home and her wonderful communication throughout our stay! Take me back in time!
This house is beautiful! Love all the antiques and the front porch was a daily evening time to rewind. Regina was fantastic with communication and suggestions for us while we were there. The house is just down the street from all the shops/ restaurants and everything Andy Griffith. If we ever come back, this is definitely where we would want to stay!

Excellent All Around
I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the area. It is very convenient to downtown Mt Airy. As a matter of fact my morning walk included a walk thru down town each day. If your looking for a house with some historical character, beautifully refinished and decorated. This is the place for you!

The Mayberry Experience
This was EXACTLY what we had imagined for our weekend getaway to visit the beloved town of Mayberry. We grew up watching Andy Griffith and the show brought us such comfort. We felt like we had gone back in time and were really there...our experience did not disappoint!!! We highly recommend this house and all that this sweet town has to offer.

Fabulous accommodations!
Myself, my husband and our best friends stayed for a weekend getaway. Regina was great with communication before and throughout our stay. The house was clean and filled with beautiful vintage items. Updated kitchen and bathrooms didn’t take away from the historical feel of the home. We were able to walk everywhere within the city of Mayberry. We were all surprised at how much there is to do and see in the area! Can’t wait to go back!

Great location in a lovely town
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay in Mt. Airy and this house was the perfect spot for us to take advantage of exploring the town. It was close to great hiking spots and it's a short walk to downtown. The house was very clean and spacious and has a fabulous front porch. Regina was an excellent host. Very responsive, welcoming and had great suggestions for places to go while we were in town. It was such a fun weekend away!

Just up the street
The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the downtown historical things. The home was perfect! The decor took me back in time, to the simple days of yester years The beds are very comfortable and you will sleep well. The neighborhood is very quiet. All the amenities you would ever need are provided. During the day you can sit on the porch and watch the squad car tours go by. I can not say enough about this house., So worth the stay!

Rest and Relaxation in Mt. Airy
Regina is an AMAZING HOST! From the moment we contacted her about our interest in her property, she was immensely helpful and accommodating. She also checked on us periodically to ensure the home and our trip was going well. The home is very clean!! While the home has an historic feel, the kitchen and bathrooms have been beautifully updated. The home is located on Main Street, so you are within walking distance to all the Andy Griffith attractions. We will definitely book here again!

Great Stay
Mayberry was a blast. We were visiting family while checking out our wedding venue. The property manager let us know about an event at the amphitheater and we met great plans we’re invited to another event the next night. We had so much fun at 2 live music events with dancing and fellowship like no other. Once we got done it was a pleasure to return to the beautiful house. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Perfect house, perfect location
With the exception of the necessities (appliances, bathrooms and A/C, this house is like stepping back in time. It's evident that much time and attention went in to restoring and decorating the house. If you are looking to spend most of your time in the historic district, this house has the perfect location. It's all within walking distance.

Charming house right down from the heart of Mayberry. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking at Wally’s Garage. Located on Main St very close to all of the shops. Love the charming feel of the house. Owners are very easy to work with. Had to cut our stay short due to an emergency at home, owner was very caring and understanding. Cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend staying here

This house is beautiful, Regina is a real quality hostess, she checked on us during the trip. The hotel industry needs to take serious lessons from her. Great trip, a lot of fun. You may not think a place this small could have so much, but it does.

The EQ Benbow House is such a beautiful and comfortable home with an intriguing history. The home is exceptionally clean and spacious. Regina was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Wonderful stay in the heart of NC wine country
This spacious home has been lovingly maintained and updated without sacrificing its historical charm. Comfort and location make it the perfect stay in downtown in Mount Airy, and Regina is very helpful with local recommendations. The house is easily walkable to shops and restaurants, and a great "home base" for a day of wine tours with The Parkway Group. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and were so sad to leave!

College Break - Rainy day fun and relaxing.
This is a great location close to hiking, vineyards, apple orchards, and of course Mount Airy offers a visit to Andy Griffith's local haunts. Although a rainy weekend we were able to get in a 7 mile hike at Pilot mountain and some local moonshine ice-cream at the creamery in town. My sister and I met up with our college kidos for a weekend of hiking and a break from their studies. The house is spacious. It down poured much of Saturday afternoon and into Sunday so we opted to cook dinner in and watch a little college football Saturday evening and the house was equip to meet all our needs with a nice size TV and plenty of room to chill out. Bathrooms and kitchen are newly renovated and although the house has antiques and collectable it is spacious and comfy. From pictures I was worried it might be more show than comfort in the living room, but it didn't have that vibe at all in person. It was very nice and we quite enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again for a great weekend!

AWESOME Home! Immaculate!
I am OCD and this entire home was spotless! Excellent location, right in town within walking distance. Owner provided great suggestions for restaurants, check in was a breeze and she helped with all question. Definitely would stay at home again! The entire inside of this home was updated and kitchen completely remodeled. Thank you for a great weekend.

Updated Mt Airy historic house
This home is just right down the street from downtown Mt Airy. Definitely within walking distance although we drove due to the weather not being the best (plenty of parking in downtown though!). This home has a wonderful front porch and is very tastefully decorated inside with period furniture. But don't let that scare you as it's updated in all the right places...the kitchen and bathrooms!! Both done very well! Regina has really thought of everything.... plenty of towels, coffee (Keurig & pot and coffee for both), soap at the sinks, and even tissues! She was also great to deal with by checking to make sure everything was ok upon arrival and periodically to see if we needed anything. If you're looking for something in this area, don't hesitate to rent this lovely house from this wonderful host/owner.

Over the top!
Our stay at the Regina’s House was a joy from start the finish. It appeared as if it had just been renovated and no one had stayed there yet. But, no, we were not nearly the first. The owner, Regina, had set an amazing standard to accommodate her guests. We were impressed by the huge amount of space, the furnishings, and the obvious attention to details. Being close to the “Andy Griffith” experience was fun as well. We thank Regina for a great experience.

Our experience was great. This house was very clean, beautiful and a great location to downtown Mayberry. All linens and toiletries was provided along with a great kitchen. Owners of this property kept in touch with us to make sure our stay was perfect on every level . Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
