No reservation
My experience was starting off to not so great!! Came all the way from Mississippi and the hotel could not find my reservation!! After we called Expedia, they resolved the issue everything was fine.

Too small for me
The room was clean but cramped and a bit worn/scarred. I expected a separate bedroom but received an obviously smaller room from the reservation photos online. The kitchenette, counter, seating, dresser and beds were all crammed together in a too small room. The hotel was full so management was unable to provide me with a proper substitute room.

The blanket on the bed was nasty, we took it off and asked for another one, twice, about 8 hrs apart and they said the didnt have any both times. We had to use one we had. The dryer didnt work. The chairs were tore up. The older lady on 2nd shift was rude and didnt want to get off the couch from watching TV to address our concerns. The best part about our trip was the young lady that checked us in and the Hot Water. I picked this location because I've stayed at a different one and I thought they would be the same. Nope. This one was the worst. I'm coming back to New Orleans in November, but I wont stay here.

Horrible
Booked a suite back in October/ November and the day of my check in I was told my room wasn't available. They have us a smaller room and when we got there we saw roaches. I need a vaccum to clean the floor but they said I needed to wait but housekeeping was upon request. I woke up to a smelly room and had to keep opening the window because it was stuffy

The hotel is in a questionable area, the front of the Hotel the trash was all over the place. They were 2 guesses drinking beer. The front desk representative was rude and unpleasant, I choose this hotel because is Pet Friendly however Expedia didn’t disclosure $75 Pet Fee plus that was unacceptable so my puppy pay for his own room but he didn’t get one. The room cost $85, the room stinks, carpets needs to be removed, the bathroom and beds were clean but it was gross to walk without shoes. The Room smells like dirty clothes, the reservation was non refundable so I pay for 2 rooms, NEEDS TO DISCLOSE PET FEE, I will not use Expedia or stay in a Candlewood Hotel again

The stay was amazing, it was like an apartment away from home. If we’re ever in the area again, this will be the only place we stay!

A/C wasn't working so we called the front desk. They sent out maintenance asap and got it solved quickly! Leslie at the front desk was super nice and helpful!

Christina was very nice and helpful. Staff were friendly. However, the common areas of the hotel need a very deep cleaning. This location allows pets and you can tell it does. There was a stale musty odor in the lobby, corridors and elevator. The hand sanitizer dispenser was empty near the elevator. The carpet was very dirty all over the hotel. Pretty sure I won't stay there again.

Clean and Comfortable
The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was outstanding. The housekeepers were courteous and friendly! Will definitely be back!

I paid $255 to stay here and usually Candlewood Suites is a nice place to stay. We stayed two nights and never had a working toilet in our room. They kept saying they would fix it and never did! They wouldn’t switch my rooms out and no one would tell me who the manager was! I kept getting the run around. DONT STAY HERE!
