The reception staff is very welcoming and they always say hello/goodby! We always felt safe in the hotel and the parking lot. The breakfast staff was very neat and happy. The food area was very clean and the food was good. The room rate was a bargain!

Something happened to half the power in our room when we first got up. We had one light by the door and air only. I went to the front desk at 7:30 and she said you are bout to leave right. I then told her after we shower and get dressed. She said I will see what I can do. She told me is was probably a fuse. We left at 10 and nothing was done .

Great hotel!
Employees were friendly & helpful. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Also, a great Mexican food restaurant is right next door. We went to St. Francisville, which wasn't very far, so location was good.

Stay from Hell
When we tried to check-in at 8:30PM we were first told we didn’t have rooms and then told there was an issue with house-keeping and it would be 30-45 minutes before our rooms would be ready. So we went next door the Mexican restaurant to eat then came back to check-in and we still didn’t have rooms at 10:30PM. Finally after about 15-20 minutes they found 3 rooms for us. They charged us triple for what the rooms were because one of the cards “declined” but was removed from the card and we received 2 receipts for the same room. It was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a Best Western and would never stay there again. We did not have breakfast even though it said breakfast was included and the cereal they did have out was stale and old. We are still waiting for corporate to give us a call about refunding the extra charges.

One night stay
When I checked in I was told there were no rooms with double beds even though that’s what I booked. Asked if I would take a king room. I reluctantly said yes but then was offed a handicap room with double beds. I took that. When we went to open the room door the keys didn’t work. Went back to the desk to get more keys. Those didn’t work either. Went back to desk, employee went back with me with another key to make sure it worked. It did and we were able to take our stuff inside. The room was ok and clean. Needs some updating though. The AC was cold and breakfast was good. Not a big variety though. It was a satisfactory stay.

It was very clean, but just a little patched up in some places. The staff was very friendly and the free full hot breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.

I’ve stayed in several hotels the last few years and this one is the best so far! Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfy beds with lots of pillows and a nice complimentary breakfast.
