I'm sorry you started off by leaving a positive first impression (4-star) on tablet we provide, yet your stay ended with a 3-star review. Yes, this home is unique. It was a family home. It's not a classic ranch or 2-story. A person who needed physical assistance lived there for years, hence the zero-entry shower. Hence, we have extra shower mats. Yes, there are a couple steps down to the additional bed/bath. I have made that more clear in the listing. Since we were between Michigan seasons (where the A/C is appreciated one day and the heat the next), we reached out to you to provide assistance in turning on the heat. We never received a return call or text. We were under the impression you did not want to be disturbed. There is indeed heat throughout the house. We rented it all last winter, and never received a complaint about the heat. I never like hearing a guest felt disappointed with their stay. Keep in mind that calling our office before you book will not only save you the service fee, yet will allow you to ask any questions, or talk about the nuances of the home. We thought you were great guests who wanted their privacy. Since you have already stayed at one of our places, you will also receive a returning guest discount. One of us here in our small, family business office has personally been to all the different properties in our Freshwater Vacation Rentals offerings.
