Dear guest, That's too bad about your ride out to visit us! Logistics are certainly one of the challenges we face due to our extremely remote location. We work hard to ensure our guests have a comfortable trip, and a private transfer is definitely the ideal way of traveling out to the reserve. We're pleased that you had a fantastic time with us once you arrived! Our guides are unquestionably some of the best in the country, and are truely passionate about the incredible plant and wildlife species found in the Mashpi Reserve. The night walks near the Lodge never cease to amaze us, and there are always different species to see! Mashpi Lodge works diligently to aid wildlife that has been affected by agriculture and logging done in the area, so some animals are temporarily held nearby while they receive treatment.
