The neighborhood where the apartment is located is opposite the prefecture and the regional command of the Guardia di Finanza, one of the Italian police forces. I think you got confused. In the streets of the neighborhood there are no landfills or bins full of waste. In this area of the center of Palermo, residents carry out separate waste collection. The streets may not be as clean as Switzerland, but you are in the nicest and safest area of central Palermo. You can reach all the monuments and churches with a simple walk. You can walk around at night without any problems. I'm sorry that you forgot that we gave you free parking for your SUV on the street. I'm also sorry that you didn't write that we gave you the keys to our garage at your request to park your car in case you had difficulty. I thank Louise for the nice words about me. But your comments about the beds and the apartment are unfortunately unacceptable. Louise left two days early because the previous day the mayor of Palermo issued a red weather alert, the top of the scale, for rain. Louise knew nothing of this. She wanted to go to Cefalù by car. We warned her it would be dangerous. The next day Louise left and reported that she was not happy with the quality of the beds. This is a subjective judgment that does not respond to reality. We are available to publish photos. The mattresses are new, no one has ever complained. One spring mattress, orthopedic base. Another mattress entirely in memory foam, orthopedic base. We have chosen these two solutions to meet all needs. Louise didn't write that we are among the few who give a choice on pillows: low, medium, high. We also offer special pillows for neck pain sufferers. We offer 8 types of pillows. Unfortunately Louise didn't count the chairs correctly. We offer 8 chairs (2 in kitchen, 2 in bedrooms, 4 in living room). We also offer seat cushions and back cushions for each chair. The street of the apartment is clean, the inhabitants do the separate collection. The collection service is sometimes not on time. But we have never experienced dirty situations because we are facing the regional command of the financial police and the prefecture of Palermo. We are not in Switzerland, but you cannot call the street dirty. Your words can be misleading to the reader. Why didn't you write that there is a weekly internal cleaning service in the condominium? I am also sorry to point out that when you left you left the Rinascente paper bags outside the large recycling bin. Our neighbors saw you, we cleaned for you. This is not a good example. Cleaning must be done with deeds, not words. The same neighbors who told me during your stay in our apartment that you left the apartment door wide open. I thank Nancy for the nice words used towards us. We have been there for months contact her to give her best advice for her trip to Sicily. We are a family, we don't do business. However, we have had the worst judgment of our apartment from Nancy and we must respond to her criticisms with the truth. Nancy's judgment is incorrect, it is really unfair. We are very disappointed. The maintenance of the apartment equipped with modern systems, in a noble palace built by a family of princes, takes place on time. Nancy spent 5 days with her husband and a couple of friends over the Easter holidays. They were greeted like old friends with great attention, from their arrival until their departure. On the day of her arrival, Nancy asked for more towels in addition to the large and medium towel supplied. I gave Nancy another 20 (!) Washed and sterilized towels from a specialized laundromat. The towels were packed in a plastic vacuum package in compliance with the Covid prevention regulations. The package was opened directly by Nancy and her friends. We didn't ask for extra money. The sheets undergo the same treatment: they are washed and sterilized by an industrial laundry. This represents a guarantee of hygiene and safety for all our guests. Nancy didn't remember this detail. This is usually offered by a hotel, we offer it free to all our guests. On Easter day, at 10.30, Nancy warned us that the Bialetti coffee maker supplied in the apartment was not working. I checked and at 11 I brought to the apartment a brand new coffee maker (7 cups, there were 4 guests) still packed in the new packaging. Nancy didn't remember this detail. In the apartment we had coffee for the moka, long Nescafè coffee, tea, long Nescafè cappuccino. All for free. Her friend asked us for olive oil and pepper. I brought a 75 cl bottle of extra virgin olive oil made in Sicily and a pack of pepper for free. Waste chapter. In the apartment there are 7 (!) Waste containers: one for organic waste, one for unsorted collection, one for plastic, one for paper, one for glass, two in the bathrooms. Two containers are found in the kitchen for convenience, three containers are found in the nearby laundry. On Easter day I personally emptied the organic and undifferentiated containers. Nancy didn't remember this detail. In the center of Palermo, separate waste collection takes place every evening. Outside the building there are large waste containers. When Nancy arrived personally I told her they could ask me for help with anything. Nancy never emptied the containers, Nancy never asked me for help with the waste. How did you forget to mention that you broke a glass of wine from a wine shop, which we would have liked to know to offer the best to our future guests.There are 3 TV stations in the apartment. One TV is located in the kitchen, the other two can be placed in the bedrooms. The tv in the bedroom bothers some guests because of the power light. The small TV is kept in the cabinet under the large TV. Nancy could have asked for it, she would have got it right away. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, one inside a bedroom; the second at the service of the guests of the second bedroom. The two bathrooms are independent and ensure privacy for guests. This is great comfort, this is documented by the announcement. We don't understand what's wrong. I would like Nancy to talk about the state in which the kitchen, the laundry, the bathrooms were left on the day of departure. We did an extra cleaning, we didn't ask for anything. In the days of your vacation, unfortunately, Palermo had problems collecting waste because many workers of the municipal company that deals with waste collection fell ill with Covid-19. Our area was still clean enough. The inconveniences occurred in the peripheral areas. Unfortunately, these problems are not dependent on our will.
