Delightful!
This tiny flat is in an amazing, quiet area that is such a charming neighborhood, yet close to everything too. The views of the Seine are extraordinary, we enjoyed time spent looking out the large windows. The spacious living area is beautifully furnished, the other rooms—kitchen, bathroom and bedroom—are tres petite. There is an elevator that is tres tres petite but such a help. The property manager is very helpful. Excellent!

Dream vacation
Our family stayed 2 weeks at this amazing property! The location was ideal for a 1st time visit to Paris. All desired locations were easily accessible by walking or short subway rides. The island location allowed for a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. The architecture and furnishings of the apartment were absolutely beautiful! Catherine was a very helpful host who even arranged our cab to the airport on our final day. We can't wait to return! Book this property - you will not be disappointed!!

Magnificent views of seine
Perfect location for everything you want to do in Paris plus wonderful cafes right out the door. We watched the boats go by with a glass of wine every night. Catherine met us at the apt (earlier than check in time which was great for us!!) and showed us how everything worked. She was available to us by text the whole stay for anything we needed or had a question about in Paris. She also met us as we left for the airport.

December in Paris
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Restaurants, shops, coffee, and pharmacy are within walking distance. The area is very safe. My husband got sick while we were in Paris, and Catherine was quick to find us a doctor open on Saturday. She was so helpful and kind in her assistance. We enjoyed having coffee, watching the activity on the Seine. And relaxing in the apartment in the evening after a long day was a treat. We loved our stay at the apartment!

Classic Paris!
A wonderful apartment on the I'ile Saint Louis overlooking the Seine. Essentially perfect. As frequent visitors to Paris you could not ask for a better location to explore every thing Paris has to offer. Walk to all the sites, never leave the Island. Your choice. All the comforts of home, a wonderful hostess, it just works for a few days or months should you choose!

Bijou on the Seine
How does one describe perfection ? It is often difficult;however, not in the case of this apartment. From the location, to the decor, to the comfort, to the kitchen, this apartment is indeed a sample of perfection. The property manager, Catherine, a bundle of Gallic charm on an electric bike, is perfect. The large comfortable bed is perfect. The wooden hangers in the closets, color coordinated to the room, are perfect. The luxurious bed linens and towels are perfect. The kitchen appliances and equipment are perfect. The US size refrigerator is perfect. The furnishings are perfect. The view of the Seine is perfect. The complimentary toiletries are perfect. The assortment of books is perfect. The plethora of lighting, including reading lights over the bed, is perfect. This apartment is perfect in every way. Book it !

Paris Dream Come True
The location and views are fabulous. The beautiful sunsets and watching boats on the Seine was a dream come true! The flat is stocked with pretty much anything you need. We loved walking the Island and then some, some. The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Beautiful apartment on the romantic Siene River!
We were welcomed and sent off on the next leg of our trip by our gracious hosts, even given a parting gift! The island is a lovely place to begin and end each day, with its charming cafes and the warm kindness of its people. Once you open the large windows and feel the breeze of the river in your living room, you will feel transported into the magic this apartment and island offer you!

Delightful stay!
My daughter and I stayed at the flat for three nights and had a wonderful time! The location is fantastic and the building and flat are quiet, clean, and comfortable. Catherine was proactive in greeting us and arranging our check-in, which was a bit early - thank you, Catherine! Philippe greeted us and showed us how everything worked. Best apartment in Paris
The best location to see Paris is this apartment directly overlooking the river. It's on the tiny island directly behind the bigger island, where Paris was born (think Notre Dame). You simply cannot find a better location from which to begin seeing the city. Catherine, our host, speaks better english than my french and she is a gem. Believe it...the place has A/C in a city where A/C is rare, and two huge windows from which to enjoy watching the boats on the river. We've stayed elsewhere on I'l St. Louis (the tiny island) once before so we knew the location was perfect, but I didn't count on the 'magic' of simply sitting in front of one of those huge ancient (open) windows and watching Paris float by. It was our fourth time in Paris so we were very selective in our location. Oh yes! There's also an elevator in the building, a blessing after climbing Metro stairs all day long. There's a small complete kitchen and an even smaller bathroom but there's a queen-size bed/bedroom and a washer/dryer. This is first-cabin stuff, folks. You won't regret it; just be careful those big windows and that lovely old river don't lure you back every day/night.

In the heart of it all

Heaven on the Seine
This apartment was just perfect for us. We loved the view directly out onto the river. We loved the decor of the apartment which was full of character. Catherine who manages the apartment was extra attentive. The neighbourhood was quiet and just lovely. Of course, the apartment is small, particularly the kitchen, but that is just Paris apartments. The location means that you can walk to very many of the interesting places within 10 to 15 minutes. In other words, for us it was perfect.

We stayed 8 nights in this apartment. It has everything you want for such a stay. Within walking distance to premier areas of Paris, with a Metro station a few minutes away. Ile Saint Louis area has all the convenience shops and restaurants that you need.

What a perfect location for our week exploring new neighborhoods in Paris! The apartment was pretty, comfortable, well-appointed, and had the best view of the Seine. Sanctuary on the Seine
Following a scientific meeting my husband and I wanted to enjoy a few extra days down time and relaxation before returning home. This pied-a-terre on Ile Saint Louis is a hidden treasure. It feels like you've stepped into the set of a movie: beautifully decorated with every convenience and mesmerizing views of the Seine. The rental manager Catherine Cornu gave us a host of wonderful recommendations and the apartment was convenient to everything- Notre Dame is just a 15 minute walk. It was cold and rainy and a transportation strike began while we were there. But a cold, rainy day in Paris with a strike is better than most places on earth any day!! We loved it and will return. PS If there's any doubt about how wonderful this place is, check the calendar- it's pretty much booked for the rest of 2023 already!

FANTASTIQUE!
It has all been said in other reviews but I will echo that this apartment is amazing and Catherine is above and beyond wonderful. My husband, 21 year old daughter and I loved this beautiful, charming apartment. Its location on the Seine & Ile de St. Louis is perfect - short walk over a bridge to the Marais, Left Bank or Ile de Cite. The island has everything you need literaly around a corner. Beautiful view from the gorgeous windows, classy appointments. Small but efficient modern kitchen & bath. Comfortable beds and nice linens. It was stocked with coffee and a lovely bottle of champagne. Catherine was exceptional with recommendations and flexibility. As no one was renting on either end of us, we were able to arrive a bit earlier in the day and depart later than standard check in/check out. She even hopped on her bike and met us one evening after all 3 of us walked out of the apartment without a key with a smile as well! We will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Paris!

Excellent as usual
This was our fourth stay in the flat and our love of the flat, the location and, above all, Catherine, the manager, has not diminished from our first stay. Catherine was in regular contact, provided us with excellent advice and was extremely helpful in all ways. And I cannot think of a single criticism of the flat; it is lovely and fits usperfectly.

From the minute we booked, the communication with the property manager, Catherine, was great! She answered all our questions. Once there, she met us and gave us so much incredible information about where to go, restaurants, cheese and wine shops, etc. The place exceeded our expectations in every way. Sooo beautiful. The river is on one side and a quaint adorable neighborhood on the other. My husband and I spent each evening by the window looking out at the Seine with a glass of wine after a full day touring. If we could give the is place 6 stars we would!!!

Beautiful apartment near Notre Dame
This apartment is perfectly located in the center of Paris near Notre Dame on Ile St. Louis. It has a beautiful view of the Seine and everything you need (boulangerie, fromagerie, resto, grocery, shopping) is within walking distance! The apartment itself is very clean, has beautiful windows and is stocked with everything you need. I definitely recommend it and would stay there again!

Perfect Location for a Perfect Getaway
The apartment was exactly as described - completely charming and perfectly located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go with the exception of the Eiffel Tower. Taxi access for this was very easy also. Catherine was such a warm and inviting hostess as well as informative. All the local shops and restaurants were wonderful and filled with people who could not have been friendlier to me and my daughter. We will cherish this trip and look forward to the next time that we are able to stay here on the Ile St Louis !!

Just as advertised - maybe better! Location! Location! Location! Sweet flat! Extremely satisfied!
This was quite simply the PERFECT flat for the two of us. We stayed here during the last 2 weeks of October 2022. Plenty of space - kitchen is small but totally adequate for our needs. Flat is updated, nicely decorated & quite comfortable for two. The view of the Seine & across into the Marais from the floor to ceiling windows which open up in both the living & dining areas, is one of the best views in the City. Only one floor up from street level provides easy access & there is a small lift if needed for luggage or if there are disability needs. Absolutely one of the best locations in all of Paris - city center location, but on the Ile Saint Louis, you truly are in the middle of a small, intimate & safe Parisian neighborhood! This is my 4th stay on the island (not this same flat) & I wouldn't stay in any other neighborhood. Easily accessible by foot to the Marais, Latin Quarter & Saint-Germain-des-Pres and close walking distance to multiple Metro stops which give you access to the rest of Paris. Grocery, bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops, cafes, outside farmers' markets, Michelin-Star restaurants & of course Berthillon (the best & most famous ice cream shop in all of Paris) are all within just a couple of blocks walk. Apartment management is easy to work with, conscientious & ready to please. Catherine C., the local property manager is lovely, very helpful and available to assist if any problems (we were too "stupid" to figure out the washer-dryer, despite her initial explanation...she happily came over during our stay & provided a hands-on 2nd tutorial)! This apartment & it's location gets a 5-star rating from me (would have been 6-star, but that's not an option with VRBO)! Enjoy your stay!!

I recommend this apartment without reservation. Pictures are accurate. Unbelievable views directly on the Seine - looking back to the Marais- Huge windows open and you can experience all the sights and sounds of Paris- windows closed you hear nothing. Small kitchen that includes everything you need- full size refrigerator and freezer, oven, stove, microwave, and clothes washer/dryer. VERY quiet bedroom - we slept so well- overlooks small interior space, website description says courtyard, perhaps an error in translation. Nice marble bathroom with totally comfortable size-shower, step to get in and out- no handrail, and small separate WC. 12-foot roughhewn beamed ceilings in the living room - furniture in living room was well used but for us just added to the ambiance. Electric radiator heating worked well but we rarely used it as we had amazing weather. Netflix, etc. on the TV but we never turned it on. Love the Isle – excitingly busy on weekend days but you feel like it’s your own in the evening and mornings. Easy to get everywhere. You may hear footsteps from the upstairs neighbor occasionally but hardly worth mentioning and never bothered us. Markets, cheese, wine, pastry shops just around the corner. Catherine, the manager, is charming and we felt like we had made a new friend in Paris! All in all I give it 5+ stars and would stay there again in a heartbeat, in fact, we’re scheduled to return to Paris in May 2023- sadly it is not available.

Beautiful views, great location
Spectacular location with amazing views of the Seine and boats on the river. Easy access to all areas of Paris. Metro stops are nearby. Living room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Kitchen is small but has all the appliances you need and more. Great to have washer and dryer. Elevator helps with luggage. Stefano and Catherine (in particular) were so helpful and nice.

Wonderful apartment at center of Paris!
While a fair walk from most sites (except Notre Dame and Sainte Chappelle), the apartment was ideal in every other every respect. Large windows opened out to a tree-lined street alone the Seine, letting in a light breeze and the sounds of Paris. But closed, the noise was shut off, and the apartment was a peaceful place for sleep and relaxation. Catherine could not have been more helpful checking us in. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. I hope to return and spend more time in Paris, knowing that there’s a comfortable and relaxing home waiting for me after a day touring the city.

Simply stated, there is no reason to stay anywhere else. So many small details for comfort, e.g. umbrellas, plenty of hangers, good shower, and a view to gaze at for hours. We gazed and gazed and gazed ...

Perfect!
Old but very functional apartment perfectly located for walking or taking the metro to anywhere! Very comfortable bed, great shower, compact but well stocked kitchen. Very nice of the owner/manager to have coffee, sugar and even champagne in the flat, as well as essentials for the bath and laundry! We absolutely loved it!!

A quiet retreat on the Seine
We could have rented a hotel room with a view, but we chose to try life closer to being French. This space was exactly what we needed: an oasis in the middle of Paris with mornings and evenings watching the Seine wake and slumber.
