Great Stay
Great place near NYC to stay for our family of six. Clean, well-appointed and safe apartment. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We had a great time and would stay again if ever in the area!

Great Family Home

May 2023 Stay
We had two families stay here. The kids had a blast. The home smelled so clean when we arrived. Amazing pillows. Short trip to American Dream Mall and the host provided easy directions for a day trip to New York!

Nice
The place was nice overall but the neighborhood was old and run down. Hot water temperature was so hot it could scald you. One of the beds broke the first night but was fixed the very next day but still squeaked. Everything we needed was there and we had plenty of room. Take note that this is a second floor walk up in case anyone has trouble with stairs.

Hi Cathy First off thank you for your stay. We appreciate it very much. As far as you saying the neighborhood is old and run down I think what you mean it’s an older neighborhood meaning the homes are older but well kept. Our home happens to be a newer one. Also bed was fixed right away. As a owner I take my rental very serious and am here very prompt if any issue may arise as we did with you.

Comfortable place to stay!
We recently stayed here as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The location was safe and near grocery stores and dining and takeout options. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Great Location!
Plenty of space and all the necessities of home. The location was perfect for our needs- we were in New Jersey for a family reunion and celebration- and the places we needed to go were within 5-10 miles. Giuseppe was a great host and available to help us when we reached out. Overall, great stay :)

Great Property for a NJ/NYC stay
This was our second time staying at this property, the first one with our almost one-year-old granddaughter. As before, the place was spotless and well-appointed. What we didn't plan to find was the portacrib, pack-n-play, and high chair! We were going to borrow these items from my sister, but didn't have to. When we discovered a few minor issues, we contacted Giuseppe and they were taken care of the next day. (Thanks!) This is the perfect place for anyone who is coming to NJ but would like easy access to NYC. Last time we stayed here for my niece's wedding. This time it was for her baby shower. A Saturday trip into the city to meet up with some friends for brunch and to attend a performance at The Met was an easy drive in and back. Highly recommended!

Great Experience
I visited New Jersey and NYC with my husband and 5 young children. This property was perfect for us. It is an easy drive from here to NYC and it has just the right amount of space. Joe (Giuseppe, the owner) was easy to work with and quick to respond to texts. This property was very clean and nicely updated with beautiful finishes. I do, however, have a few recommendations for future guests: A stopper/strainer for the kitchen sink drain, stoppers for the bathtubs in case guests would like to take a bath instead of a shower, wash cloths and hand towels for the bathrooms, more kitchen dish towels (there was only one) and a few dish cloths, too, These few items would have made the stay more comfortable, however we still enjoyed our 5 nights there. Thanks again, Joe!

Better than I expected.
The only complaint I have about this place is from my son. One remote didn't have batteries hahaha. We have an outstanding time. The owner Giuseppe was friendly and answered any and all questions. The place was super clean, more than enough space for the family. The area is quiet and the block has plenty of parking including the driveway which was reserved for our vehicle.

Liked the location. Apartment large and confortable
We could have had 2 outside garbage containers . Since it was 6 people there needed more toilet paper, garbage bags. Would have been nice to have a nightstand in bedroom and mirror, rug when first come in to hold shoes After all said and done we liked the apartment, neighborhood quiet.

Hi Clifford. Thank you for the nice and honest review. I will definitely get another garbage can. As far as nightstand we tried fitting them and we just dont have enough space. We will also put mirrors up behind doors. Again thank you for the nice review.

Very nice and clean.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to the bus stop to go to NewYork. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils that we needed. Quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay in Paterson, easy access to local transportation to New York at the train station. We picked this location because it was centrally located between Boston and DC. We traveled to DC, Boston and 2 days in New York by the NJ transit line. The host was wonderful to work with and the house was as described. This location was perfect for our group of 9. The pillows and beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and had no issues with any locals when walking to the train station at night with our group. Our biggest tip for those traveling to this area, E85 is difficult to find, a station at 205 Sanford in East Orange was the only one locally, go during the day. Beer or liquor stores close very early in the Paterson area, get those during the day before they all close. Thank you again to our host for our wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here I felt safe and secure with my group of ladies
This is a great spot to stay we all enjoyed our self there were stores that were close and convenient we were able to get in and out the house was very comfortable clean and well-kept I love the idea that everybody had a TV in their room the only thing that I would recommend would be a pot set for cooking yes they had a few things but really needed a pot set and also a large mirror maybe on the hallway wall or on the back of the bathroom door this is for ladies or men we like to make sure we are looking good before leaving the house we had a lot of events for my birthday and we all have to get dressed but we didn't have a mirror to look in overall a very safe and quiet environment I loved everything about it I would recommend this probably to anyone

Great place to stay in a safe neighborhood.
Our family of 6 had plenty of room. There was easily room for 10 people since we had 2 beds we did not use. There is quick access to public transportation, but it was cheaper for a group our size to drive in and park for the day in NYC. There are local stores close by and the neighborhood is friendly. There is a Wal-Mart Supercenter about 15 minutes away and a Walgreen as well. If you are looking for a place with a full kitchen and room for a big family near NYC here is a great choice. The owner lives on-site and communicates quickly and goes the extra mile to provide absolute customer service. Good people doing honest business. What a pleasant surprise to find Southern hospitality in the middle of winter so far from our home in Georgia.

Would possitively stay again
We were a family of 3 adults and 3 children. Things were clean, modern and we had plenty of room. Flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and living room. Giuseppe responded quickly to our communique and concerns. Quiet neighborhood, we felt safe inside and outside. Easy access to I-80. Costco and Walmart only 10-15 minutes away. (only 2 bathrooms on main floor apt) Would definitely stay here again in the future if in the area.

Walk Barefoot on Hardwood Floors
We enjoyed our stay at Giuseppe's place. We thoroughly used every aspect of the home with no major issues. The location was central to the touring we did within 3 days between the city and upstate NY. In particular, it was nice to be able to go barefoot on the floors because they were clean and hardwood, no carpet. The kitchen supplies may need to be checked as there were a few missing items, such as no cookie sheet and only 8 dinner plates.
