Rescue when college housing wasn’t built
Courtney was extremely flexible kind and understanding when we found our daughter did not have housing for the Fall semester. we found the place to meet the needs of these Pitt students.It was worth the money, in a great location, and a cute neighborhood with easy parking. would definitely stay in any of Courtney’s rentals again.

Pitt Homecoming
Overall the place was clean, well stocked, functional. Location was good, parking spot was always open in front of the house with no need to register your car. A nuce welcome card and token if appreciation was left. A very nice touch. Towels were thick and cozy. Courtney was extremely responsive to questions and concerns and open to all feedback. With the positive, there was a negative. People above us were very loud, we could hear footsteps, jumping and talking until late hours. Courtney was courteous and took care of the situation immediately and also took recommendations to help improve future stays. Overall a positive experience.

Nice apt w/ some shared areas - bring some of your own essentials
This is a beautiful apt. perfect for a short stay. The host is responsive. The yard is great & the area is very nice w/ a park nearby. However, there needs to be more than 4 of everything - towels, bowls, forks, etc. This is also the only place we've ever styed where there were no dishwasher tablets, no roast pan, only 1 hand towel for the bathroom, & only 3 trash bags. A little less staging & a little more on the practical side of things would be helpful. Additionally, the upstairs neighbors or the cleaning people for the upstairs apt. were in & out of the house constantly slamming the door throughout an entire day during our stay. They also left wash in the shared washing machine which is in a shared cellar & we never actually got to do wash (which we had packed anticipating doing wash). The apt. is very nice for a short stay but plan on bringing some towels & kitchen items if you go.

Pleasant, but basic stay
No frills, pretty standard 2 bedroom downstairs apartment. Doors are loud, house has thin floors and thin walls so you can hear everything going on, though neighbors were very quiet. Towels were provided but some were wet when we arrived. We only needed the place to sleep and shower so we barely spent much time there. Kitchen isn’t very well stocked, wouldn’t recommend a lengthy stay where you would be cooking. But if you need a bed and a bathroom for a short stay in this neighborhood I would recommend.

At home in Highland Park
We spent a long weekend in Pittsburgh visiting our daughter who lives there. We drove from Chicago with our two small dogs. The place was perfect. Safe, quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. There was a small yard for the dogs and we were within 10 minutes of several sites and great restaurants! Everything we needed. Also loved sitting on the front porch.

Had to leave in the middle of the night
Easter weekend - came to Pittsburgh to stay with our daughter who is attending college. The property is nice as well as the neighborhood, however, the upstairs occupants are twentysomethings who practice and play heavy metal music. Thursday night was quiet, however, Friday night the "music" upstairs started at approximately 10 p.m. and did not quiet down until approximately 2 a.m. After texting the property manager, the noise abated slightly at around midnight but did not stop. Saturday night the upstairs musicians held a party which involved playing their instruments as loud as possible as possible "payback" for complaining about the noise the previous night. Along with playing their instruments as loud as possible, they also were yelling and trash talking us, as they knew we could hear them. At around 1 a.m. in the morning, we were forced to pack up and leave and find hotel which would also accommodate our dog who was with us. Needless to say, this turned our wonderful Easter weekend into a major disappointment. I would never, ever rent this property ever again.

Long stay
My daughter and I stayed in Cortney's place for three weeks while she was recovering from ACL surgery. Our visit was excellent from beginning to end! Cortney was very responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. He even let my daughter do a site visit before we rented to make sure that everything was easily accessible. The apartment is well equipped for cooking your own meals but also very close to groceries, restaurants and Target. Sandwiches and biscotti from the Bryant Steet Market should not be missed! We parked one and sometimes two cars on the street and never had trouble finding a spot. The upstairs tenants are long term renters and very nice.
