When we arrived after a long drive at 2:45 we were prevented from entering the hotel by two employees who appeared to be housecleaning staff smoking on a bench at the entrance. They said we couldn't go in until 4:00 which was check in time. I have used Holiday Inn Express many times and we was always allowed in. If a room was ready, I was checked in and if one wasn't, I could leave my luggage and either relax in the lobby or come back at 4:00. I am an elderly woman. This was not an appropriate greeting.

Property has several lovely seating areas on the main level for family and friends. It also has an outdoor fire pit with casual chairs. Room was exceptionally clean and personnel were friendly. Breakfast was standard fare but adequate. Location is far enough away from interstate (within view) that noise isn't an issue. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my two kids while visiting a friend in Pittsburgh. The rooms are nice, very clean, the staff is EXTREMLEY friendly and helpful (with the exception of one front desk person but thankfully we disnt have to ibteract with her too much) the breakfast is good and the lobby is beautiful. The pool is very small, smaller even than a normally "small" hotel pool and there is an indoor ice hockey rink only a few miles away. One of the nights we were there the hotel was PACKED with travel hockey families. There were about 40 kids in the pool acting like animals. I'd suggest you check to make sure there arent any hockey tournaments scheduled during your stay if youre looking to utilize the pool!

Staff needs to have better professional training. Lady on the breakfast serving did not have enough supplies, she switched off everything even many families’s kids wanted to grab a bite, Considering the fact that it’s the new year eve, many people will wake up a bit late, facility could extend 30 mins for breakfast, First job of hotel is hospitality, everything comes later.

They put me directly next to an elevator, so I got to get woken up by every single late night trip up and down from the lobby. They decorated their lobby with fall themed decorations, which would have been cute if not for the obscene amount of hay making it smell like a barn. The "non-dairy" coffee creamer they have in the rooms have sodium caseinate in it, which is derived from dairy products, so I'm not sure how they can legally get away with calling it a non dairy product. I am vegan, so if I had ingested it like I nearly had, it would have wrecked my stomach for a week. The room itself and the decor inside were some of the ugliest I've ever seen, and the tv worked so poorly I can't imagine it was even made in this decade.

The staff was kind and made you feel welcome. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Thanksgiving! The hotel was clean and actually provided daily housecleaning services! Finally! The first hotel that we have stayed at post Covid that offered housekeeping.

Awesome hotel, very clean. Great for kids.
The hotel was very nice, very welcoming and warm, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet had many choices, and was delicious. Our kids loved the pool area too. We will definitely be back.

Bad customer service and bad business practices
After we showed up to the hotel we were told that the general manager gave the receptionist a note that said we are fully booked and he booked us a room in another hotel that was like 12 minutes away and 35 minutes from our next day events we were not happy they never called or told us until we went to check in and the room was booked and paid for over a week prior and the hotel they booked had no breakfast or a pool and the locks on the door were broken and the hotel as a whole was not nearly of the quality of the hotel we booked or not nearly as highly rated hotels.com should refund my money but they told me it was up to the hotel we booked with to approve
