Overall the stay was amazing. No hiccups or problems. However, if booking on Expedia make sure at the hotel they are offering the same price as the price you reserved on Expedia. As I was quoted 5 night for £265, got to the hotel and they charged me £309. I was too tired to ask so just went with it.
The other thing is the mini bar. On my first day it was stocked with Pringles, water, soft drinks. Little did I know that these were to pay for, so everytime the maid cleaned my roomed and re stocked the minibar, this was racking up a bill. So just watch for that.
The location is okay if you don’t mind walking, however this hotel isn’t for you if you do. It’s all the way at the top of Porto so to get back you have to walk up hill (which didn’t bother us) but just a warning as some days it was annoying. And I was on the 6th floor, couldn’t have the windows open at night because of how loud the road was outside, which became frustrating as at this time of year the air conditioning units don’t work (was told this by a member of staff)
Other than that. No complaints really.
