A Little Piece of Paradise in Princeville
My friend and I have been best friends for 75 years. We started coming to Hawaii seven years ago to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We were in Maui the last six, but were so close to the devastating fires we couldn’t bear to return. We are so happy we chose Kauai and this beautiful home to stay in. We truly felt the Hawaiian experience while living there. Sitting on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee and evenings with our wine was magical. The backyard was full of lush greenery, flowers, date palms, tropical plants…and we must not forget the chickens and roosters that Kauai is “famous” for. The house itself had all the amenities one could need. The furniture and wall hangings looked like vintage Hawaiian. We had a couple of little glitches, but Bev immediately took care of them. Dean, the handyman, was just great! It was located in a very convenient spot close to the Kuhio Highway which we used to get everywhere we needed to go. We are planning on returning next year. We are so happy we chose this little piece of paradise.

Great vacation home!
My family truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rental house. The house was impeccably clean and detailed, to a level that could be described as a brand new model home. The house design, with the screened vent windows along all of the walls, gave great breezes through the house during the days and evenings. There are fans throughout the house, and there are lots of accent lighting options. All of the facilities and fixtures worked perfectly. The only downside to the stay was a problem with the TV/cable, where the remote control was confusing and the cable box required a power cycle to start working normally again. Until we fixed the cable box, we were still able to enjoy streamed media via a tablet and an HDMI input connection to the TV. Regardless, you don't rent a house in Kauai to watch TV. The home owners, Bev and Joe, were great to work with and they made the experience the best it could be. I absolutely recommend this house for your Kauai vacation rental.

Kauai Vacation
We stayed 6 nights and we loved the house. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in patio and had breakfast every morning on the patio. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and that was great because we cooked a lot. Location of the home was good and was close to the town of Princeville. We enjoyed the Farmer’s market on Saturday. It was only about a block to walk to it. We definitely will return to this island and stay in this beautiful home.

Paradise
This property is 100% Hawaii. Loved all the windows and the screened lanai. Had a great connection with Bev the owner. She even sent me a text to make sure we arrived ok. Home was very clean and was a welcome site with lights turned on when we arrived in the dark. Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful
Our family of 4 adults had a wonderful stay here. Everything was so well considered, exceptionally clean. The flow of the house and it’s decor has a lovely relaxed feel, light & breezy. We very much enjoyed the garden & family bocce challenge in the afternoons. Lovely lanai outlook over beautiful tropical garden. Close to the village shops - 5 minute walk & short drive to Hanalei Bay. Check in and out easy and host Bev & Joe easy to communicate with. A wonderful location to enjoy. Thank you Bev & Joe.

60 wedding anniversary family trip
We loved the house and found it fit our family needs very well. Being close to a grocery store was very convenient. We loved the lanai and all the vegetation around the house, felt very private. We even enjoyed the roosters. Communication with Beverley was prompt and she made sure a minor issue was immediately taken care of.

Exactly as described. Very comfortable and very clean. Three bed, two bath, great living room and kitchen with an excellent backyard. Could not have found a better place for a young family. If you stay here, you will very likely be pleased.

Great family house at one of the best Kauai locations
The Princeville house is as advertised - spacious, tastefully decorated, and in one of the best and most convenient parts of Kauai. Though not a recent construction and showing some signs of age, this was a perfect base for our group of four (parents + teen + grandmother) that provide just the right mix of relaxation and accommodation. The Princeville location can't be beat for its access to the North Shore and convenience (walking distance to supermarket, plenty of routes for morning or evening exercise in the neighborhood). This would definitely be my top choice for any future Kauai visits.

Perfect location and plenty of space
Family of 5 enjoying Kauai for the first time. Lucked into picking this perfect location for all our activities as we ended up on north shore most of the time. Our favorite beach (Hanalei) was a short 7 minute drive away and Foodland is walkable distance. My wife enjoyed the craft fair that was there on Sunday. Bev was super responsive and helpful with the small issue we had to get it resolved quickly. Recommended!

A beautiful home!
This was a true Kauai home. It felt like my Auntie's house in Lihue from years ago. Not like a rental at all- just filled with love and coziness all around. The backyard and grounds are beautiful. Just a slice of heaven. We loved our stay so much. I usually try new places when I visit, but I would definitely come back here to this home! Comfy beds, comfy couch, a true Kauai lanai and for some reason....the roosters didn't wake us up like they normally do in Princeville here! Hooray!! It was a miracle!

Princeville Perfection
Just finished our week at this property and we were very pleased with everything! The location on the north shore gives you quick access to Hanalei, Tunnels, Anini beaches. Very close to main road for easy in and out. there is also a shopping plaza and small take out restaurants in walking distance. Bev was responsive and offered good basic beach equipment like towels and chairs. Very clean and beautiful tropical plants on the property. Thanks for the stay, will be back!

perfect location and beautiful house
house is huge, clean and beautiful. location is very convenient. One challenge is heat. I just realized many houses in the island have no air conditioner. it was hot for two guest rooms.

Awesome Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. This home was a perfect retreat after our busy days visiting all the magical locations of Kauai. The amenities were all we could have asked for; comfy beds, water and picnic gear, calm and relaxing atmosphere, generous master suite, the list goes on. Perfection!

First visit to Kauai
Your home has been lovely and we are so grateful to you for sharing your beautiful well-stocked home with us! All the little conveniences (soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, cooking ingredient basics) were much appreciated! The kitchen is the best stocked we’ve ever experienced! We enjoyed the screened lanai multiple times a day, so very relaxing. House was comfortable with the open windows and fans. The hiking sticks, beach chairs & umbrellas, etc were such a nice addition and nice to have. The communication was terrific and quick. We felt very welcome!

Our Stay
Home is a great place good location. Only thing we did not like is the house is located on a main road and busy from 7AM to 10PM, one block over is a park and you will hear kids being loud.

Hi David, thank you for the review. We are sorry you found it noisy. We are on a private road and usually we don’t experience much noise. But we were on Island last week too and found there was a lot traffic all over. When there is a back up on Ka Haku road a lot of locals take the short cut. There is supposed to be no through traffic. Last week was spring break for a lot of people. That s probably why you heard lots of kids in the park as well. The park is about 300 hundred yards away. With about 3 or 4 houses between us. Again I’m sorry you found it noisy. Bev

We had the best experience at this home. It was perfect for our family and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was close to a grocery store (Foodland), a short drive to different beaches and there was plenty of things to cook with. We loved the screened lanai and spent a lot of time out there. Definitely recommend.

Nice home, great location.
Perfect floor plan for two couples with bedrooms at opposite ends of the house. The landscaping makes the home seem very private even though it is in a very nice neighborhood. Everything is close by, police/fire station, urgent care, grocery store, restaurants, golf courses, beaches and scenic beauty everywhere! Bev is a great host and responds quickly to any questions. No negatives. Would definitely stay here again.

We fully enjoyed our stay in this Hawaii custom home. The property is just as described. Pictures can’t quite capture the beauty inside the house and outside around the yard. All the foliage is stunning. House was completely clean and furnished with all we needed. Beds were very comfortable. The separation of space was wonderful. All you needed to go to the beach for the day was there. Hanalei Bay was minutes away and so easy to get to. The snorkeling was incredible. We even saw a Moray Eel!!! Starting and ending our days, this house offered us the such refuge! A beautiful peaceful home where we can come together as family and enjoy! Was absolutely stunning!

Making Memories
This was a dream family vacation in a dream house. I can't say enough about how good the energy is in this home. It's also in a perfect area, walking distance to a basketball court, Foodland, Tiki Iniki and more! I spent 3 weeks here, one week on my own, then family arrived, my son, grandson and daughter in-law, to celebrate Christmas together. I loved the layout of the home, primay bedroom on one side and the other two bedroom on the opposite end of the home. We often found ourselves sitting on the barstools at the kitchen counter conversing and preparing meals together. Bev was a most excellent host, very personable and easy to talk to. Right after I arrived she made sure to check in with me to see if everything was okay. My daughter in-laws father and his wife flew in from France and were staying within walking distance. The home was a wonderful warm gathering place for all of us. We made Christmas eve dinner and watched the purple red sunset through the diningroom window as we ate and sipped our champagne. The backyard was perfect day and night. Star gazing from there was phenomenal. Now, we all have these special memories we made here together for our lifetime, what a gift..... Thank you Bev!

This house was great for our three-week vacation. We had two adults and two children. The house fit us perfectly. It had everything we needed. As other reviews stated it's a 5 min walk to Foodland. It was a great place to stay and we would stay there again.

Fabulous rental in great location.
Bev’s place was perfect for our stay on Kauai. Spacious and comfortable and even nicer than photos suggested. SO much better than staying at a hotel or resort and under 10 minutes from Hanalei Bay. Everything went super smoothly.

Perfekter Urlaub
Das Haus hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kanne zum Filtern des Wassers war sehr praktisch, so daß wir kein Wasser kaufen mussten. Auch mit Kleinkind ein perfekter Aufenthalt.

Home away from home
This home was absolutely lovely! As returning visitors to the Island annually, we found this home to be perfect for our family. It was very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with easy walking access to the Princeville shopping center. The house was very clean and provided plenty of supplies for a 2 week stay. There was a wide variety of beach accessories. We even made a contribution at the end of our trip with additional beach accessories for future guests to use. The check in process was very simple and any communication was handled in a very polite and timely manner. We highly recommend this little slice of home away from home and hope to be guests next trip to Kauai.

Princeville Hawaiian Quiet Home
Excellent location in very nice quiet neighborhood. House has everything you need as we cooked 3-4 nights for dinner. Hawaiian theme throughout .. walking distance to Princeville Market Stores( 3 minutes) and 20 minute walk to beach. There is no air conditioning (as stated) so it can get pretty warm if your inside during the day.. nights pleasant. Nice Lanai looking out at beautiful garden plantings.

Tolles Haus
Tolles grosses Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner kamen und sehr gelegen. Für Wasseraktivitäten standen Bodyboards, Strandstühle , Schirme und Schnorchelausrüstung zur Verfügung. In Steinwurfweite war ein Supermarkt. Alles sehr empfehlenswert. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen.

We enjoyed our stay in Kauai and the home was amazing. The neighborhood was so clean and the location was perfect. Beautiful Mountain View from front home.We loved eating on the patio in the morning and evening. The owners also had snorkling equipment and beach chairs for us to use. The home is close to a grocery store, shopping and beaches. We were very pleased with this rental and Bev was very pleasant. Thank you Bev and Joe Baran family

Perfect. Just perfect!
Five adults, ranging in age from 19 to 84 years old, stayed here for a week. Every single one of us felt right at home and immediately settled right in. The home was spotless. The beds extremely comfortable. The bar at the kitchen gave everyone a place to hang out during meal prep and cleanup. The amenities were numerous and covered our every need. The lanai was lovely, with plenty of room for all of us, ceiling fan to keep the air circulating, with a beautiful and private back yard to gaze out upon. The location couldn't have been better as it was very close to Hanalei and Princeville, but not so far northwest to make outings to the rest of the island too much of a drive. There's even a weekly market with artists' wares, farmstand, and music within walking distance. The hosts were in contact just the right amount, making sure we got in all right, and they replied quickly to any questions or comments. We can hardly wait to visit Kauai again and stay at Hale Leilani! It truly is a "heavenly home."

Kauai Family Vacation
This house was amazing. The layout was perfect for our family of five. It was close to everything yet seemed very quiet and secluded. We loved that we could walk to the grocery store. The house was incredibly clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. We enjoyed hanging out in the lanai every night and would end each night with a game of bocce ball. I can’t say enough great things about this house. It made for the perfect Hawaiian vacation.

Great location, relaxing.
Communication with Bev was friendly and prompt. The house was great for my family to stay at. The master suite is large and relaxing. There is no AC here, but that wasn’t a problem. In the afternoon if was quite warm but with the fans and windows open we were able to cool it down considerably by 7pm. Location is great - it’s only a couple blocks from Foodland and a playground for kiddos. Neighborhood is clean and quiet.

Perfect home for our family!
Bev’s home is IMMACULATE! If you are thinking of booking, do it, you won’t regret it! The home is spacious and comfy. The kids loved all the beach toys and back yard. Every question I had was answered very quickly. If we come back to Kauai, I know where we are staying! Ps - I was worried about not having a pool. It was not an issue at all. We drove to Hanalei Bay for ocean fun!
