Il soggiorno è stato molto rilassante: il resort è grande ma non enorme, si raggiunge tutto tranquillamente a piedi, animazione divertente ma non invasiva, spiaggia tenuta pulita (più di altri resort nei dintorni che abbiamo visto facendo delle passeggiate), cibo ok, forse un po’ ripetitivo al buffet. Le camere sono carine e pulite. Inizialmente ce ne avevano data una con vista sul ristorante dove c’era forte odore di cibo, ma abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla e l’hanno fatto, sono stati molto gentili. C’è effettivamente un odore un po’ sgradevole nelle stanze dato dall’aria condizionata e dall’impianto un po’ datato, ma non utilizzandola scompare. Nel complesso è stata una bella vacanza 😊

Non sono solito fare recensioni in quanto sono una persona che si adatta, in questo caso credo sia giusto farlo in quanto è stata una delle peggiori vacanze mai fatte. Le aspettative erano alte visto che si parla di un iberostar, la zona di punta cana non la conoscevo ma in passato sono stato 2 volte a La Romana quindi conosco un po' Santo Domingo. Le note negative sono state in primis la camera e nello specifico il bagno l'entrata nella vasca è pericolosissima, il lavabo sotto era tutto completamente aperto(ho fatto le foto) e cosa secondaria ma per me importante mancava una macchina per fare il caffè Il personale per nulla professionale e in alcuni casi maleducato in particolare nella zona mare, guarda spiaggia propenso a bere cocktail "gentilmente" offerto da qualche cliente. Spiaggia completamente inadatta ad ospitare la quantità di clientela presente. Infine pulizia della spiaggia completamente assente sia per quanto riguarda i rifiuti, gettati sulla sabbia non sono da clienti maleducati ma anche dal personale, sia nella gestione delle alghe. Nota positiva è stata la gentilezza della donna che si occupava della pulizia della stanza e di qualche cameriere per il resto tutto completamente inadatto ad una catena che si vanta di essere un 5 stelle

Everything was clean and well maintained. Only issue would be their app and restaurant reservations. All restaurants are consistently 3/4 empty but you still can’t make reservations yourself. Only the concierge seem to be able to make reservations.

The property was dated, but relatively clean. The air conditioner in our room was very loud, and we found a cockroach in there one night. The pool and beach were extremely loud with all of the entertainment/activities (fitness classes, bingo, foam parties all at full blast). The gym was the only very good thing about this resort. Modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Our biggest issue with our stay was with the food, which was not good at all. We ended up moving to a different resort halfway through our stay because we couldnt find anything we wanted to eat. Very greatful to Dahiana at the front desk, who helped us navigate our move to the Grand Bavaro, which was a much better experience.

The food was not good at all, the buffet was ok but the reservations to the other restaurants were pretty ba. Plates were served already and on the fridge. No fresh ingredients as very small portions. Food at the snack bar was old and dry. For the price that I paid was unacceptable.service is nice people are friendly but it was a poor experience!

It was a beautiful beautiful resort!! For the most part food was great, the only thing that was annoying was getting reservations at the restaurants. The resort itself is very clean, the only instance we had issues with that is when they came to clean our rooms and we told them to come back in 10minutes and it took about an 1 hour. All and all I would recommend this place to anyone it was a great time!

Pretty but mostly Latin/Spanish. Few Americans so no kids for my daughter t play with both in the kids club and bout. The beach chairs are practically on top of each other. They have a ridiculous reservation system when you have to decide all the first day and then you can only reserve 4 nights and the rest you have to have buffet. I choose the resorts with many restaurants to have the choice. The Smoke House food was HORRIFIC. staff mixed. Some didnt let us have a drink while we sorted out something with the restaurant reservation. Iberostar runs some strange classist situation where they constantly tell you that you will get something better if you just upgrade....

Upon arrival, no room was ready for us despite it being after checkin time. We waited for a bit, then were given a room. It was not the type we had registered for and it was dirty. The toilet had visable stains on it, the floor was sandy. We returned to the checkin desk and they did give us a better room, although I never felt that anything was truly clean. The glasses had lip marks, and the dishes in the buffets were often crusty. I saw a huge dead roach in the lobby restroom. All that aside, the food was good for the most part. We generally chose the buffets as the restaurants were hard to get reservations and we didn't feel that they were anything special. We did wish the food areas were open more. We are early eaters and often the buffets weren't open until 1pm, 6pm. Trying to find a place to grab lunch at noon before our flight was tricky. The drinks at the bar were good and fast. The beach was well kept and easily accessible. The landscaping was beautiful. The staff was friendly. We did get bamboozled into "a fancy breakfast at their neighbor resort" which we quickly realized was a timeshare sales pitch. The shows started at 9:45pm, so we didn't really check them out. We get up early and run on the beach at sunrise, so it would have been nice to have some earlier show options. We are pretty well traveled. We have been to better, we've been to worse. Would I chose this particular resort again? Probably not.

Great service at this resort. The only complaint was the sraff at the Catalaran rental place. They misbooked me and when I came for the appointment they said it was not available when another couple was taking a Catamaran out. The rebooked for jext day and also cancelled due to high winds

We were celebrating our daughters 21st birthday in the restaurant we had asked ahead of time & given candles to be put on dessert or a cake it didn’t happen every time we made a gesture to the waitress, she went to go and do it, and then didn’t one of my daughters is fluent in Spanish, so there’s no misunderstanding !!!!! Ask for drinks & she came back with one drink then had to go get the rest of the drinks which took forever four out of five meals were cold & steak you could not eat !!! After waiting a long time we decided to leave & go to buffet when we got up I went to guy in charge asked for the candles back and the waitress said wait we do cake now I said to late & my daughter figured out the night was ruined the manager apologize to me ! & asked the guy at buffet could he sing happy birthday gave him the candles a a tip . He said he would do in a a few min so we wait 45 minutes the same thing We walking out So disappointed. !! Nobody seemed to care ! & the food over all was bad !! The last night we went to French restaurant that was good & my daughter asked could we try happy birthday again !! It didn’t happen we couldn’t figure it out !!! So we went to buffet after to see what food they had & it was the best food they had for the 6 days of our stay would not return to this hotel again ! my family spent a lot of money for this vacation & to celebrate my daughter‘s birthday very disappointing. Waited 30 min to get pool towels last day !!

Astonishing views, nice park like ground, very friendly employees, great and very clean housekeeping. Cons: only one thing, food was sometimes a little cold at the buffet, but the specialty restaurants were absolutely great. Ones in a while you saw a fly, but for the circumstances that the buffet area is not enclosed you can't be disappointed. Overall this property is at least 4.8 out of 5. Thank you to the staff

Overall Okay - Excellent Staff
Overall a nice trip. Excellent except for the concierge who’s clearly pushing to make a commission on the Vacation Club and restaurant recommendations. Food was very disappointing and drinks were watered down. Fortunately the staff and the exceptional entertainment staff led my a “Mr. Mike Tyson” - ha, helped my mothers 90th Birthday celebration special.

This was our 5th stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, we won't comeback. The hotel already needs a capital reconstruction particularly the rooms. There are many insects in almost all areas including bed bugs and roaches, the latter in areas near restaurants or in the nightclub bar. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The fruits are not ripe and the sweets are tasteless. The meats are sometimes very dry and overcooked.
