This is an older hotel being renovated. They switched out our room because our bathroom sink was clogged. Still some issues that needed to be resolved in the new room but nothing critical. They charge a $20 pet fee, which wasn’t shown on Expedia. There’s a great diner next door for meals. The beds were comfortable.

Walnut Inn overnight stay.
It was actually quiet with being next to a truck stop and just off I40. The hotel is doing renovations, painting etc but no issues. Would stay again.

The guest service desk lady was so nice. Checked us in nice and fast and was so friendly! For $70 a night the price can’t be beat. Clean and great smelling rooms. Comfortable bed. Everything you’ll need for a brief stay. Recommend 10/10!

Nice Hotel at a Great Rate
The Walnut Inn is an interesting and nice Hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained. The Hotel is adjacent to the 4 Star Diner and directly across from the Cherokee Casino. The only drawback was the truck traffic at all hours of the day and night.

The staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful. I instantly felt comfortable. The beds were comfortable. My biggest complaint is that there was no safety chain/lock on the door. The main lock and deadbolt did work though. Overall I would stay again.

Walnut inn, Roland Oklahoma.
A two night stay. The motel was desolate, I belive there was only one other guest, so parking was good. Rooms need renovation bad. Old, sticky carpet. A broken window, peeling paint, nasty stained bathtub, bowed shower curtain broken out of drywall. Non smoking room smelled like a casino. I hate cigarettes, so I really noticed. Mattresses are very eco, (cheap) the noisy metal spring type. The stay worked for what I needed. Just a place to crash, and get a shower. But, probably the dumpiest motel I've ever stayed at.

I was there for a wedding. They put us in the wrong room. The blankets had cigarette holes in them and stains. The room looked as though they cleaned but had stains on the walls and trim was falling off in spots. We traveled a long distance so changing hotels wasnt an option. The staff was nice and friendly. However the room was just not up to par.

Outdated and uncomfortable
The owner was pleasant. I knew it was an Indian establishment as soon as we walked in based on the insense. I’m not sure how they got such good ratings but this place is old, the carpet and furnishings are stained and old and the bed and linens were horrible. The bed cover had cigarette holes. I should have stayed at the casino. I will say the toilet is updated and eco friendly. But the tub and shower are horrible. Like most Indian establishments they don’t put money back into their hotel they just keep running it down and only replace as needed if something breaks. I will not stay again nor do I really recommend it. Note to owner - Perhaps if the bed and pillows and linens were updated I would reconsider.

The bed was so uncomfortable and there was roaches in the room . Furniture is stained and it smelled bad. The locks on the door where broken . The manger up charged me bc I accidentally booked on the wrong day . Cost me $23 more than originally. He didn’t even offer anything. Don’t waste your money here. Outdated is the least you can say !

Woke up to a giant brown hairy spider on our bed this morning! Smoke detector was missing. Dust bunnies and fuzz balls everywhere. The room smelled. My husband and I were so grossed out we almost left last night as soon as we saw the room. Broken safety lock so I felt scared and had my husband put a chair in front of door.

Not impressed!
I was a little disappointed. Lobby & downstairs rooms were closed. No breakfast at all (drinks, fruit or anything). No security lock on our room, no toilet paper holder. At 9am we were being rushed to checkout of our room.

Room was dirty, looked behind the table for an outlet and saw things that had been there a while. Cobwebs, dirt, and other trash. Bathroom had layers of dirt and dust on the light switch and floor. Bathtub had cracks in the bottom covered with flex tape. When we tried to check out at 7:30 am there was no one around and the lobby was locked. Lamp shade seen better days.
