I normally like to write reviews pointing people toward properties of good quality offering positive experiences. Can't do that this time. I cannot recommend this property under any circumstances. The only positive thing I can say is that it was very clean when we took possession. (No further cleanings or linen changes in our 6-day stay.) Check-in was really difficult. Instructions were incomprehensible. Not written in correct English. (Italian would have been fine for me.) Guests are referred to instructional videos for entrance that do not work. The vibe when I called the office for help was definitely of the "you're a stupid old guy" variety. Took several calls before we got in. The property is in poor condition. See photos below for examples. Bathroom especially bad, as was a small room, probably a bedroom in initial floorplan. No A/C for that second room or bathroom. Window in second room unusable. Opened onto A/C compressors throwing out heat. Towel bars falling off walls in bathroom. Door handle not attached. Risk of locking ourselves out of the second room that had the closets in it. That room had a very large, low-hanging light fixture that I hit my head on numerous times. TV only had three channels. Not even the Italian state TV channels, much less any sort of cable news. I could go on... Bottom line is that I saw a very exploitative business model. Owners of units want to maximize profits with little or no attention to the property. Sonder mgmt adds no value.
