Vacanza sfortunata

L'appartamento di Carlotta e Alessandro anche se piccolo, ha tutto ciò che serve per soggiornarvi comodamente.Benché in zona vicina al centro è molto tranquillo e comodo a tutti i servizi. Abbiamo conosciuto Alessandro...una persona brillante. Grazie e arrivederci.

vacanze romane in appartamento accogliente e intimo
Roma e' sempre una meta ricca di fascino e stimolante. Pernottare in questo appartamento ben curato, intimo ed accogliente permette di godersi al meglio il centro storico poichè situato in posizione strategica e vicino alla metropolitana di San Giovanni Laterano. L'ho trovato adatto al ns tipo di famiglia. Per i bambini poi il letto sul soppalco piace molto..parola di figlia al seguito:-) I proprietari sono molto alla mano e attenti alle esigenze dell'ospite. Wärmstens zu empfehlen
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Rom. Allessandro hat uns in der Wohnung trotz unserer Verspätung empfangen. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön! Die Metro ist in der Nähe, max. 10 min Fußweg.

Great space to visit Rome- worked well with 13-month old
Everything was incredibly easy and well done with this apartment. Alessandro and Carlotta contacted me to set up an appointment, they were flexible to our schedule and understanding when we arrived late because of traffic. Communication was easy, fast, clear and the place was even better than the pictures. We enjoyed our stay very much in this area, was perfect for two people and a 13-month old child (no lift, but we left buggy downstairs). Thanks so much for this great space to experience Rome!

Städtereise rundum gelungen :)
Das Appartement ist so wie beschrieben und gut ausgestattet! Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat super funktioniert. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Verkehrsanbindung liegen direkt vor der Nase! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Pleasant and cozy stay in Roma
Alessandro and Carlotta were excellent hosts! They were always available when we need them. The house is even better than pictures. The terrace is spectacultar, perfect for breakfast. We really feel like home during our stay. Kitchen has all you need. The ambience is modern and cozy. Internet worked perfect and all was super clean. Location is great! it's just located within walking distance from the metro. The colosseum is also quite close. We highly recommend you to stay here! Thanks again Alex and Carlotta.

lovely place in Rome
This place was exactly as advertised: Clean, well equipped and with a stunning veranda to walk out to and watch the street below. The only problem was, that I had not noted a House Number, because on the photo it shows Banco Italia right underneath the flat, and THAT is, what I told the Taxi Driver. But the bank is no longer there-it's a Gym now. So we could not find the address. Luckily, Alessandro watched out for us and met the Taxi-what a relief that was, as my phone also did not work in Italy. I would like to advise Alessandro and Carlotta to update that photo taken from the street. The only other problem we encountered, was the Induction Stove: Alessandro showed us on arrival, but I was too rattled to take it in, and could not recall it later. Without phone contact, we could not use the stove. Could you leave a note on the kitchen wall, with instructions re the stove? Otherwise, it was perfect, and I realize, that the lack of phone contact is my problem, not theirs. I would highly recommend this property for 2 people, and would maybe stay again myself. I have already submitted a review as response to an earlier e-mail, but obviously this has not been recognised by the computer, so there may be 2 reviews from us now, but they say the same. Lovely little place
This apartment is quite small, but has a lovely large terrace. Unfortunately we did not get the benefit of it, due to the weather being a tad hot, shall we say! We could sit out there during the evening but the mossies got us! The apartment is close to several bus-stops, which helps because its at least a 30 min walk to the Coliseum. It had all the equipment required - plates, cutlery, corkscrew etc. The fridge is large, and the aircome works great. My only isse is that I specifically requested both beds to be prepared,but this was not done. This wouldn't have been as issue if the owner had had to deputise our welcome to a very nice lady who unfortunately could not speak any English and who had not been told this. Several phone calls later it was sorted but this really should not have been an issue. I would also recommend a welcome pack for guests - wifi password, where to catch the buses, the fact you need to get bus tickets from tobacconists, etc etc. We found this stuff out eventually but it would help people out hugely. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Sehr schönes Arpartment
Wir haben eine Woche in diesem gemütlichen kleinen Arpartment zu zweit plus einen Jugendlichen verbracht und der Platz war völlig ausreichend.Es war uns wichtig mitten im wirklichen Geschehen zu sein und genau das war unser Gefühl.Man fand sich schnell zurecht egal ob bis Oder der kurze Weg zur Metro. KLEINE Supermärkte mit dem nötigsten 5 min Lsufweg und ein Penny sogar in der Nähe. Das tollste für uns jedoch war das einfache unkomplizierte Einchecken dürften sogar früher rein als geplant.Danke an die Vermieter und alles Liebe und gute.

Bra läge, skön terass
Perfekt lägenhet för oss fyra med 2 vuxna och två tonåringar. Fräsch och snyggt inredd. Något hårda sängar. Stor terass med mysig soffgrupp och matbord. Eftermiddagssolen var dock lite för het för att kunna njuta fullt ut men före 12 och efter 18 var terassen underbar! Vi lyckades pricka in när ”extremhettan” härjade i södra Europa så ac:n i lägenheten var mycket uppskattad! Vi gick till Colosseum på ca 25-30min, men om man hellre tar Metron så är gångtiden ca 5-7min. Hyresvärdarna svarade snabbt vid kontaktbehov. Lägenheten ligger i trevligt område och har en fantastisk glassbar runt hörnet. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka hit!

Rome San Giovanni Stay - June 2019
We stayed here for a week in June 2019. The location is close to bus/metro stops and a short ride to all the major sites. We loved coming back to the quiet neighborhood in the evenings to relax and have dinner. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance, market on the corner and probably the best gelato we had in Italy (Freddo) just a block away. The hosts showed up within 5 min to greet us and give a quick tour. Highly recommend this property!

Great little apartment, comfortable, upgraded and nicely decorated. Nice patio although could be a little noisy in the morning with rush-hour. Quiet apartment at night. About a 10 mn walk from the subway and the area seems safe even later in the evening. Area away from Rome's main attractions but it is manageable when taking the subway. Managers are responsive, very accomodating and charming to deal with.

Perfect for us
We very much enjoyed our stay. There are only two of us and this is a perfect fit for a couple. The San Giovanni location was also very good. There are restaurants, coffee bars, pizza stands, gelati parlors . . . in all directions including some that are very nearby. Our favorite restaurant, just a three minute walk away, is the casual Trattoria Etruria specializing in hearty Roman cuisine (stop by and make a reservation or be prepared to wait until late - you can also reserve for another day while your are dining). It is small and usually quite crowded but was very accommodating to non-Italian speakers - that is to say us as most everyone else was local. We ate there three nights and every dish was of a high quality including fish specials available Tuesday and Friday. There are three grocery stores within easy walking distance and public transportation is good. You will have to walk 3-4 minutes to catch the #87 bus (very busy mid-week mornings) that will take you to St. John in Latern - right by the Colosseum and Roman Forum - Piazza Venezia - Piazza Navona and beyond. Metro stations (on the same line) are Re di Roma (7 min walk) and San Giovanni (12 min walk). At St. Giovanni there are multiple bus and light rail connections available including the #3 tram that will take you to Trastevere in one direction and the Borghese Gallery (near) and beyond in the other. Among others, bus 360 travels to and from Termini but Termini is also easily reachable by Metro. We did not have a working cell phone when we arrived but found a nearby McDonald's for free wi-fi in order to let the owners know we were on the scene. They kindly let us drop our bags at the apartment while it was being readied for our arrival. The apartment is up two half-flights of stairs, seems very safe and secure, was spotlessly clean and has a wonderful outdoor balcony (albeit with a very squeaky door). The outdoor area was really nice and a rarity in Rome in a budget minded accommodation. The only quibble I had was that the shower was a little awkward for those of used to luxuriating in a hot shower. It was acceptable but may take a bit of getting used to. The noise that another reviewer mentioned is audible but only in the bathroom, not the living area nor bed nor on the balcony. The Baths of Caracala-Santo Stefano Rotondo-Santa Maria in Domnica-Santi-Giovanni e Paolo (see the amazing ruins underneath) - Colosseum would be a good walkable intro for the fit.

nette Wohnung mit großem Balkon - zentral gelegen in Rom
Die Ferienwohnung ist zentral gelegen und nur knapp 7 Minuten von der nächsten Metrostation entfernt, von der man alle großen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom erreicht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Balkon auf dem man perfekt entspannen und gemütlich draußen Essen kann.

The apartment photos match apartment, deck is amazing. 30 minute walk to Colosseum, all other tourist sites farther. It would be so helpful for information regarding transportation options and maps be available in suite. Grocery, coffee shops, bakery, restaurants all close by. I would stay here again

Angenehme saubere Wohnung, gute Verkehrsanbindung
Wir haben den 8-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, auch die wunderbare Terrasse konnten wir gut nutzen. Die saubere Küchenzeile beherbergt alles, was benötigt wird, das Bett ist bequem. Ja, der Verkehrslärm ist nicht zu verachten, bei geschlossenen Fenstern aber kein Problem. Die Eisdiele Kappadue um die Ecke ist sehr zu empfehlen. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: ein verstopfter Abfluss im Waschbecken im Bad und ein verkalkter Wasserhahn. Auch diese "kleinen Mängel" könnten vor einem Mieterwechsel leicht behoben werden. Wir waren recht zufrieden :)

Lovely apartment with a lovely outside space. However it is a longer walk from the metro & if arriving at night a lonely one .... you can hear music in the early hours of the morning from the gym next door as well. Ensure if you want both beds setting up, you let the owners. Also showering is a challenge, you can’t fit under it & its a half size bath.

really disappointed by your comment, if you wanted the second bed you had to ask, we have more than 70 reviews and none has been below 4 stars, the apartment is small but comfortable. on the other hand I could not expect a different review from those who could not make a hair dryer work. I have also solved the problem of the second bed, explaining that two beds involve double sheets and a price increase, but I have prepared the second bed without asking for the price integration. The metro Piazza Re di Roma (lineA) is 5 minutes by walk from apartment, see you to Google maps! our apartment is not for you. Kind regards

Gut und charmant eingerichtete Wohnung mit toller Terrasse
Die Wohnung ist wirklich geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Größe der Terrasse ist wundervoll. Wir waren zu viert in Rom, dafür ist die Wohnung fast zu klein und das untere Bett deutlich schlechter als das großartige Bett auf der Empore. Der Empfang war herzlich, die Wohnung super sauber und die Ausstattung schön. Die Lage der Wohnung ist tatsächlich recht laut, bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man jedoch nichts und man kann entspannt schlafen. Ein Bäcker und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind direkt um die Ecke und die weltbesten selbstgemachten Nudeln bekommt man ebenfalls lediglich zwei Straßen weiter. Zur Bushaltestelle ist es nur ein Katzensprung, zur Metro muss man schon ein gutes Stück laufen. Die Altstadt ist nicht zu Fuß erreichbar, die Wohnung liegt deutlich außerhalb. Uns hat es dort gefallen!

It was good
We were under the impression this property was in walking distance to the colosseum. It was not. It was definitely a residential area close to taxi stand. Which is good because we had to take a taxi everywhere. The host was very nice but there needed to be more info in the apt. We didn’t know how to turn on the air, we turned a knob in the shower and lost all water to the apt. If these things were labeled it would be very helpful

we are really very sorry for this review, the apartment is a 25 walk from the Colosseum, it is not written anywhere that was near the Colosseum. we waited for them an hour because they were lost and I took my scooter to find them, and I paid parking for them too! I really thought that turning on the air conditioning was so simple as not to be explained, the knob of the shower is not accessible and I could not imagine that they have closed. I believe that three stars are really unjustified.

Great Little apartment with a super cozy deck
Great little apartment, Bonus to have large comfortable patio, location is good about a 20, 25 minute walk to the Colosseum and forum area , buses are close by to. Apartment was missing a few normal essentials, easily fixed if they want- needed dish towels we used a bath towel for drying, wine opener broken , no toaster, and only one wine glass, we enjoyed our stay , just think the owner should go through the apartment to make sure it has the essentials Cheers

Overall very nice apartment, good location, comfortable. Could use a deep cleaning.

Spacious and convienent
This apartment was the perfect amount of space to rest after a long day of exploring and to cook a few meals. The train is only 5 minutes walk away, or a little longer if you want to stop at the neighbourhood cafe in the morning on the way. The apartment was clean, well equipped and the balcony beautiful! Thank you for such a lovely stay. Will definitely be back again!

Great setup, residential area lots of services near Piazza Tuscolo.
Restaurants, grocery, shops walking distance. Bus stop & taxi close too at Piazza Tuscolo. Loft bed, nice bathroom, and large terrace. Quiet neighborhood.
