Posto ok, staff incompetence e maleducato
Mancanza di professionalità e poca educazione. Parcheggio coperto (incluso nella lista dei servizi offerti) non esistente. Camera pulita e colazione ok. (Brioches confezionate, fette biscottate,marmellata, nutella e caffe).

Gentile Sig.ra Sartori, sono spiacente per il suo giudizio così negativo nei confronti della nostra struttura. Come segnalato nella nostra pagina Expedia il parcheggio NON é incluso; guardando il nostro sito ufficiale deve aver frainteso i servizi inclusi nella tariffa. Le ricordo che il nostro é un affittacamere di 5 stanze e difficilmente potremmo disporre di un parcheggio privato. Per quanto riguarda il suo giudizio sul personale...mi trovo in difficoltà nel pensare che il ragazzo che mi ha sostituita per qualche giorno possa averla trattata male..Abbiamo avuto ottimi commenti da parte di altri clienti sul mio assistente! Purtroppo si é trovato in una situazione difficile che non ha saputo gestire al meglio! Sicuramente questo episodio gli sarà di aiuto per migliorarsi.. Inoltre le ricordo che il mio collega per calmare la situazione di disagio creata le ha gentilmente rimborsato le tasse di soggiorno; credo che questa non si possa definire maleducazione.. un cordiale saluto Ilaria Maison Colosseo

llaria, is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I would definitely stay again!

This is the perfect location if you come to Rome for easy walk to the colosseum. Host of this hotel is amazing, helpful, and knows the area for assistance. The rooms are super cute, comfortable beds and the breakfast is ala Italian style and dining around the corner is amazing.

Close to the Colosseo and a wonderful area for a walking tourist. Very small room but all I needed for one person. Lovely hostess and this morning the staff were so friendly. A substantial Italian breakfast. I would have liked some ice, or a freezer to make my own for the warm wine I had! But that’s such a small thing. Value for Roman money for sure.

If you are looking for a nice, clean, safe place to rest your head while you are staying in Rome, this is it. It’s nothing special, but the AC, shower and bed were great, the staff was very kind and helpful with directions from the time I landed to the time I arrived to the guesthouse. There was a convenient store, walking distance to colleseum and plent of food options.

Muy buena ubicación, a pasos del Coliseo. Si bien el desayuno es muy práctico porque te lo dejan en la habitación el día anterior, tuvimos la poca suerte de que 2 de los 3 días les faltaban cosas.. Además, una de las noches nos despertamos por los ruidos de la habitación de al lado y se escucha todo desde que alguien entra al hall de recepción..

Charming room and friendly staff near colosseum
Nothing fancy, but very charming and super clean room. Breakfast was self-serve in own room which worked great for us because we didn’t have to rush to a breakfast area by a certain time. The bldg is very private and well kept. It’s away from all the hustle in Rome, but also convenient and very close to the colosseum and imperial forum. We regret not booking our entire stay in Rome at this place; the other place we stayed at wasn’t as charming and was more expensive. Our stay at MAISON COLOSSEO was perfect (once we'd figured out how to lower the window blinds on day 3 - what fun!!). Great position for some of the major sights and not far to walk for others. Ilaria information was very welcome and she pointed out some great places to eat, good variety of food at a good price. When we go back to Rome we would be very happy to say there again! Highly recommended.

Ruime en schone kamer op prima locatie
De kamer is erg mooi ruim en schoon. De locatie - vlak achter Colosseum - is ook goed! Het ontbijt (is op de kamer zelf) vond ik een minpunt. De keuze was beperkt (alleen zoet) en het was niet veel. Verder werd er ook iedere dag iets vergeten bij het aanvullen.

Zeer gastvrij en nette b&b
Vooraf werd ik benaderd door de eigenaresse met de vraag of ze voor ons alvast zaken kon regelen. Wat een fijne service. Toen we aankwamen werden we persoonlijk door haar ontvangen. Ze wees ons de weg in ons verblijf. Ze kwam heel gastvrij over. De kamer zelf was netjes ingericht. Bed ligt lekker. In de kamer werd het nooit te warm, ondanks de 28 graden buiten. Badkamer voldeed prima. In de kamer stond een tafel met ontbijtbenodigdheden. Ontbijt stelde niet al teveel voor. Klein flesje sap, wat crackers en croissants voorverpakt. Niet te veel van verwachten. B&B ligt aan een doodlopende straat en dus erg rustig. 5 minuten lopen van het Colosseum. Zou er morgen weer heen gaan.

Ruhige, große saubere Zimmer in der Nähe vom.Kolos
Super ruhige Lage...Nähe Kolosseum und Forum Romanum. Großzügige saubere Zimmer. EinfachEs Frühstück macht man sich selber am Zimmer....Was auch gewisse Vorteile hAT. ABER nicht zuviel erwarten!

Great for couples
This is a guest house, so feels comfortable and no rushing for breakfast 8n the morning as this is supplied for you the day before. Is continental style. This is in a residential block within a residential area but not far from restaurants at all. Colleseum within easy reach and tube station. The only negative is that can be noisy from neighbours at times. But everything is clean and comfortable and is great for couples. Very friendly and helpful owner. Would stay again

Only problem was we booked a triple room, and they put in a put up bed which was comfortable and would be suitable for a child, but we were 3 adults which made the room feel small, not enough space to store things

Great Find
A lovely find, at a great rate for something relatively central. The communications before the stay were friendly and prompt, and we were greeted at the door on our arrival. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet, all residential, plenty of restaurants and opposite a Basilica. Our room was a little small, but it was their last one at the time we booked and it was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Rome was experiencing a heatwave at the time and the air conditioning coped very well. Breakfast is a simple, in the room, option but perfectly adequate for a quick start. The property is very close to the Colosseum, and hence the Metro station there. Probably a 10 minute walk in the morning, maybe 15 at the end of a long day of sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants between the Metro and the hotel, all of them seemed popular with a good mix of meals available. There are also a couple of small mini markets to stock up on other essentials. Overall a great place and we will be returning.

3nights in Rome
The Good: very close to Colosseum, Metro, tram, buses. Very clean. Modern bathroom and Classic bedroom. Italian breakfast provided; espresso and milk, cornetto, little cookies and yoghurt. There is a supermarket in the area, we bought some more breakfast items and stored in the mini fridge. Ilara was very helpful and nice. The less good: bed is hard and front door is loud. Overall very good for the price.

The Maison Colosseo is very conveniently located near all of the tourist spots in Rome. It is very comfortable and clean and just what I needed for my short stay in Rome. Ilaria was very attentive and helpful to whatever was needed. I very much recommend it.

Perfect option close to the center of Roma.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and our room was great. We were less than a half mile from the Colosseo and within walking distance to 2 metro stops. They were kind enough to let us borrow an adapter so we could charge a computer. They also left a complimentary bottle of wine a few days before we left. Thank you so much for everything!

clean, central location, cheap, understanding.
The hotel had a shuttle service who picked us up from the Airport for 55 Euro (One Way) and the driver was very welcoming. When we arrived at the hotel building the hotel was very clean and nice and the hostess was extremely helpful with dinner recommendations for dinner. I believe the hotel was the first floor to an apartment building. On our last night there the internet went down and we were without WI-FI which was an inconvenience because our friend was put up in a Air BnB by the hotel (over booked) so we had no way to get ahold of him and or check into our Ryan Air flight (Ryan Air charges 45 euro if you don't check in 2 hours prior to the flight). The host was extremely pleasant about everything and helpful and she spoke English very well, so there was little to no barriers. FYI the reception desk is only opened from 0900 until about 1100. Other than a few hiccups it was a steal of a stay and would stay there again. Coliseum, Arch of Constantine and the Roman Forum is about a 3 minute walk Il Vittoriano is about a 5 minute walk Pantheon is about a 12 minute walk if you are looking for the Big Bus tour it is about a 3 min walk to the pick up station We also had dinner at the Aroma which is a very nice restaurant that over looks the coliseum and it was about a 2 min walk.

We were contacted before we left home with useful information about our stay in Rome. The hotel was easy to find in a great location. On arrival we were given all the information we needed for our 7 days in Rome by the wonderful staff member at Maison Colosseo, the room was spacious, impeccably clean and well equipped. The hotel is well located for public transport, shopping and historical sites. Within a few hundred metres of the hotel are shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, a post office and interesting shops as well as market stall selling fruit & veg, there's also a great baker nearby - all this and we all had peaceful nights sleep throughout. Forty something couple with 10 year old son.

Chambres confortables et grandes. Trop bruyantes
Hôtel pas tres central. Chambre confortable pour le prix mais les murs sont fins et la rue occupée le soir par des personnes écoutant la musique très fort dans leur voiture. Ma chambre avait des sanitaires défectueux (joints de douche à changer et écoulements bouchés, chasse d' eau à réparer). Dommage.
