Great house and host!
We booked the house to watch the eclipse, and it was honestly the perfect place for our quick trip. Gary was incredibly open and communicative, and we really enjoyed watching the eclipse from the backyard and the sunset over the water. Thanks Gary!

Lovely lakeside getaway
Fully stocked kitchen was a great perk allowing me to stay on the property and enjoy the view of the lake instead of needing to go out to eat. The kitchen and dining room table have a great view if you need to stay inside due to inclement weather… Same with the views from both the upstairs bedrooms balconies. Indoor fireplace a nice touch on cooler evenings! P.S. host is a very responsive communicator… definitely a plus!

Great place! Will go back again!
We wanted to get away to celebrate our anniversary and our friend’s birthday. This was the perfect place. Beautiful location, well furnished and equipped. We had one glitch, and the owner responded quickly. We think this could become our “ go to getaway”. BTW GO BUCKS!

Another perfect stay
We’ve stayed at this house multiple times and every time is so relaxing. The house was clean and has all of the towels and bedding we could possibly need. The kitchen also has lots of helpful things like coffee, condiments, and salt/pepper. Being right on the water is so lovely, and it’s only 20 min from Bellefountain, so we always spend an afternoon there. We like to eat a the local Root Beer Stand and the coffee shop in town is delicious, too. Gary is lovely and kind and responds quickly. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Lake House
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home. The sunsets off the deck and the relaxing evenings by the firepit were the highlight of our stay. My husband enjoyed fishing all weekend. Gary was a wonderful host and was very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

Delightful stay at Indian Lake
We spent 10 days at this property, right on the lake with amazing sunset views. The home is cheery and well equipped and we found it easy to settle in. We were sorry to see our time come to an end.

Awesome family vacation spot! Lots of fishing and relaxing as a family. Great local restaurants. Property is great. Really enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the beautiful sunsets. Definitely plan on returning!

Very nice house on a lake
We had a good time with excellent weather on a beautiful lake. We brought our two digs with us and walked the neighborhood each morning and evening. The people we met on our walks in the neighborhood were friendly. The house was very nicely situated on a dock which provided awesome sunset views directly across the lake. We were unable to use the kayak's due to the combination of distance down to the water from the dock (we really didn't want to fall in the water) With that said, the water appeared to be clean and there was no unpleasant smell and there were others playing in the water next door. We also saw lots of fish jumping in the morning around the immediate area.

Perfect quick getaway
We tried out Indian Lake for the first time and this house was a cute place to stay for a short getaway for our family of 5. It is a great location on the water. We rented a boat and being here made it easy to come and go. We had everything we needed to cook meals in. We would def stay again. The firepit and amazing sunsets were a bonus.

Serenity at the Lake House
Everything was great except weather. We brought our little dog and the green patch outside was perfect size for her. All was quiet and very restful. Plenty of places to sleep and spread out. Stairs were a little steep for me and my dog but that is nothing our host could help. Both balconies were great too. Gary was wonderful host. Thank you :)

Perfect Relaxing Vacation!
This is the second year that we’ve stayed and we will definitely be back! The house is great! It is clean and comfortable. The property sits right on the water and has a wonderful view. The location is close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Gary is great and makes the check in/out process easy.

Beautiful home
We absolutely loved our visit for Mother's Day weekend. The house was amazing and exceptionally clean and stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well stocked kitchen. The highlight truely was the outside deck area . We enjoyed having a glass of wine by the firetable as we watched the kiddos fish from the dock. The location to everything you need is perfect. We will definitely be back!

Great place with an excellent view!
The location of this house on the lake is perfect. Protected from the main lake winds and wake so you are able to enjoy the dock even in colder weather. The fire pit makes it pleasant to sit out and listen to the night sounds. Both upper balconies face water which is a bonus so you can have your morning coffee protected from the sunrise or set while still enjoying the view of it.

Wonderful Lake House!

Greatness
This property on the waterside is something that is special. Having a propane fire pit next to the water is great amazing. Also he provides Netflix and YouTube tv which we use to gather and end the night off with. Just greatness.

Lake Girl Love!
If you’re a lake girl, this is the place for you . . . sunrises over the water in front of the house and sunsets over the water at the back of the house. Both bedrooms have water views. It feels very open with tall windows and lots of sunlight. We had a great stay and hope to make it a yearly tradition. The host was superb at answering questions in a timely manner.

This is the cutest house. The view of the lake was magnificent and the sunset and sunrise were magnificent. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfy. The table facing the lake was perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. The landlord was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this stay.

Incredible Lake house with a VIEW!
This property may be one of the best on the lake for a getaway! Two rooms, one with the best view we have had to date of Indian Lake. The sunsets here would be PERFECT! We had an incredible snowstorm over the water that was in itself and amazing spectacle. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend

A friend and I stayed here in the autumn for a relaxing break. The house was calm and quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The view is beautiful! The owner went way above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. I highly recommend!

The view of sunsets from this house were fantastic. The outdoor deck area and gas fire pit are great for relaxing out by the water during the day or evening. The bed was comfortable and the entire house had a very comfortable cozy feel to it.

Great Sunsets
Perfect getaway for a few days. Great views, sunset. House was very clean and bright. Only issue was all the seaweed / grass at the dock made it unable to swim at the cottage. Ended up taking our daughter to a beach a few miles down the road.

Hi Terry- thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I apologize the weeds were an issue during your stay, they have unfortunately been a challenge for everyone at the lake this year but the state is working hard to remedy the issue. I appreciate you bringing to my attention that the once a week cleanout company I hired was not catching all of them and have asked him since your stay to come more frequently. I am also looking into a weed mitigation system to prevent future issues. We hope to have you back soon !

The location is great. The house is updated. The main floor has plenty of sitting. The outside has a great view of the lake. Easy to check in and the house was spotless. Beds were comfortable upstairs and each room has a balcony. There is a jack and jill bathroom that was a good size.

The home was better than expected and we wanted for nothing. The house had everything we needed plus some hidden gems like an outside hose, board games, upstairs decks, and comfy couches. Fabulous property in Russell’s Point
My two sisters and I spent the weekend at this property to “get away from it all”. Property was very clean and well appointed. Kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. The location was amazing! Gorgeous sunsets from the deck or balcony. We spent almost all of our time on the deck looking out over the lake. This rental is so cozy and decor is very tasteful. My sisters remarked a number of times how much they loved this adorable home. We did not want to leave. Owner was easy and pleasant to communicate with and checked to make sure everything was to our liking. We would definitely book this rental again in the future!
