“Great place to stay. Recently built so everything is brand new. Even had a dishwasher in our room. Affordable too!”

“A beautiful historical hotel that made us feel like we were in the 1800’s. We loved the decor, the friendly staff, the restaurant and bar, the lovely town and the way we were spoiled. We highly recommend this hotel and the whole experience. It’s hard to find hospitality like this anymore!”

“The staff was great and check-in was a breeze. The room was large and serviceable, but there were stains in the carpet, the bed covering, and one of the large towels. The room was mostly clean, though, and had no ill smell…just well-used and a bit out-dated. The treadmill in the fitness center was in disrepair and there were multiple boxes of AC units being stored in there. The hospitality made this a 4/5, otherwise it was a 3/5.”

“The room was ok. The hairdryer was less than desirable, and the amenities were sparse. The noise from the traffic on the interstate was very loud, so if you’re a light sleeper, stay somewhere else. I used two sound machines, and it still wasn’t enough to drown out the noise.”

“While the room was clean, but the door didn’t seal tight. You could see the light from the hallway all around the door. the floors near and in the elevator were really dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. They had scrambled eggs, sausage,Waffles, and bread items etc… For one night, it was ok. In my opinion, The Newport area seemed a little sketchy.”

“This is a beautiful, historic hotel in downtown Greeneville within a short walk to the Andrew Johnson Historic Site and several restaurants. I highly recommend it.”

“Door Improperly hung, hard to open, sounded like it was lifting the metal threshold Strike plate completely missing Gouges that looked like a crow bar was used to open it Bathroom Reserved believing it was handicap accessible There was a tub, not a walk in shower. No handheld No seat I called the front desk and they offered a different room but we were exhausted and unpacked. They sent down a shower chair. Low water pressure Hot water at sink and tub, but warm from shower head Ice machine...

“Honestly it’s a dump. I lived in this town for 20 years and had to go back recently for a short visit. The bathroom shower was awful, the shower head needed replacement the sink had a big gap against the wall, the bathroom fan was super loud, the air conditioner was also super noisy AND they made me pay a $100 deposit when we checked in for damages in the event we broke anything. LOL ”

“Breakfast: 5 stars. They have a good breakfast bar. Breakfast is from 6:30 am - 10 am but after 9:15 they stop refilling the breakfast bar. Not much to choose from if you come late. Cleanliness: 2 stars. We stayed in a non-smoking room but the lingering odor of lit cigarette was present and too strong for us to handle.”

“The shower definitely needs a safety bar on the side wall. The tub bottom was very slick and hard to stand on. I almost fell 3 times during my shower.”
