Nice place but some issues
The property is very spacious and comfortable. The location is about a 25 minute drive from Killington mountain. The beds are very comfortable!
There are some things about the property and the owner that really need some work:
-The oven did not work. It would not heat above 100 degrees.
-The WiFi did not work. We had to contact the owner for the password, and were still unable to connect.
-There are no hand towels or soap in the kitchen.
-There are no hooks or racks to hang jackets.
-The towel rack in the bathroom only has one screw in it, so it spins around and can only hang one towel.
-There were no check out instructions.
The most important thing I'd like potential renters to be aware of is how incredibly rude and difficult Douglas was. Prior to our stay, I had considered cancelling the reservation and asked him if that was possible. He responded with an unintelligible message that I did not respond to. A few days later, he called me directly. He was rude, accusatory, and swore at me on the phone. As we were getting ready to leave, he messaged me three times to remind us that we had to be out by 10am. All these messages came BEFORE 10am. He asked me to text him directly, which I did not feel comfortable doing after his attitude on the phone. He even contacted VRBO to have them send me a reminder that we had to be out at 10am (we were out by 10am). It felt very uncomfortable.
With some improvements in attitude and accommodation, this place could be great.
