Struttura molto cosy
Stanza super carina anche se proprio sulla strada principale quindi rumorosa se si dorme con le finestre aperte in estate!! La reception non è sempre disponibile quindi bisogna accordarsi se si vuole lasciare la valigia per fare un giro in città prima di un rientro a casa.

Brilliant Place to Stay
Brilliant location, clean and great facilities. My only grip was a firm mattress but that’s personal preference.

Rye fireworks
The Regent hotel was the perfect place to stay for the Rye Fireworks. The room was very clean and the staff are very friendly and the hotel couldn't have been in a better place for the parade

Thanks for your review. Rye Bonfire is a great night for the town always helps when it doesn't rain.

Shame about the slamming doors!
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. However the rooms are not sound proofed, and the room doors are heavy and noisy. The bathroom door really stuck. If they could sort out the doors I’d give 5 stars, but until then don’t expect a lie-in!

The corridor door have soft closers on as do the room door's but due to fire regulations all doors have to shut behind a guest to prevent a fire spreading. I've checked the bathroom door of the room you stayed in and door and handle all working fine.

Guest didn't stay, cancelled last minute so no refund was due. Bit sad that they feel to make themselves feel better that it's a good idea to do a bad review.

Central, quiet, comfy, modern and clean.
Totally modern, spacious and very very clean. Big windows that open wide, massive comfortable bed, airy room with a huge walk in shower and double sinks (beach room), and silent during the night. Fantastic night's sleep and central to every pub!

Prices are slightly higher during August and price is increased for 1 night stays on a Saturday in August.

A beautiful and spacious room with everything you need. Close to the train station. I’ve stayed 1 night. Rye is a beautiful, cosy, little town.

Chambre calme, bien agencée et équipée, très agréable. L'établissement dispose de peu de places de parking mais nous en avons eu une (par chance, car nos messages envoyés via Expédia n'ont, semble-t-il, pas été transférés à l'établissement). D'autre part, il n'est pas si facile de prendre un petit déjeuner en ville avant 9h30.

Nice but basic
Check in was very easy & straight forward. The room was basic but nice. The sink in the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. There were hairs and other bits that hadn't been rinsed away. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the station & the town centre but I think the hotel is expensive for what it is especially for room only.

Clean and comfortable
Had a two night stay with a family member so we had the superior room to get the two beds. Clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Nice to be able to control the heating as we found the room much too warm when we arrived!

Plus and Minuses
Plus: Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation. Free parking (checked in early). Pay and display car park across the road. Easy walking distance to town centre, local attractions etc. Reasonably priced. Minus: Bathroom had a leak under the sink which we reported. Could hear other guests in their rooms. Traffic noise if windows were opened.

The property is very central and convenient for walking to all restaurants, shops etc. with parking on site (£5 a night). Rooms are fairly basic, but beds are comfortable, bathroom clean, plenty of hot water. No breakfast but good value, no frills accommodation and the staff are helpful and friendly.

The room was fresh and very clean. My only gripe and that wasn't the fault of the motel was that the traffic noise was quite loud on the Friday night.

The Regent Motel and Bar
The greeting from the member of staff on arrival was great and the room was acceptable all be it on the small side for a superior room. The biggest issue was the noise of the traffic and the noise from the people in the bar downstairs..then just as that stopped the seagulls started!..no sleep at all. The plug was nowhere near a mirror unledd you dry your hair over the coffee cups..one of the bedside lamps not 2orking and npbody around to report it to .good points wrere..olose to syation and liked the idea of the honesty box

Friendly staff. Check in quick and easy. Clean room with adequate facilities. Value for money parking on site. The motel is situated in a busy road so quite noisy especially if you need to have windows open in hot weather.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed 3 nights - large comfy beds, lovely veranda and views in restaurant for b’fast and coffees during the day. Had a nice ‘family’ feel to the hotel - quite an interesting old building.

We enjoyed our stay at the Regent Motel and Bar. Nice clean accomodation, great check-in and excellent staff, great value, excellently located and the free parking right behind the property was a huge bonus.

Central location. Good value for money for reserved parking on site. Could also use pay & display public parking, but can be pricey. Everywhere is within walking distance. The benefits of this is the location to the beach by car. Alternatively can visit local places such as Hastings, Dymchurch or Romney Marsh. Rooms are average size with amenities. Could do with a fan in the summer though!

Perfect location, friendly staff
Great location - a stone's throw from the train station, a little bit of noise in the early evening from the bar below, but silent at night. Very friendly receptionist. Convenient early check in time. The only downside is that the air freshener in the rooms is a little overpowering. I must admit that I was a little put off by the 'motel' name, but fortunately doesn't compare to the awful motels in the US!
