Hotel fantastico, situato in una zona centrale di San Francisco. Lo conosco vivamente anche perché è una struttura che ha tutti i servizi di alto livello, e necessari per un perfetto pernottamento. Inoltre ti danno la possibilità di avere colazione inclusa nel prezzo e nel pomeriggio viene allestito un buffet, sempre gratuito, con mangiare e bere. Non è facile trovare un hotel così!

Ottimo soggiorno in quanto l'hotel è grazioso e collocato in una buona posizione sia per spostarsi a piedi che con i mezzi. La colazione è di ottima qualità, unica nota dolente i materassi dei letti che andrebbero assolutamente cambiati.

Il calore di una baita in pieno centro
Anche se per una sola notte abbiamo potuto apprezzare l'accoglienza dell Petit Auberge! Se dovessi tornare a San Francisco non avrò dubbi su dove prenotare: location perfetta per girare a piedi il centro, camere accoglienti e letto comodo, colazione inclusa nel prezzo e la voce di Edith Piaf che ci faceva compagnia. Meraviglioso!

Ottima colazione, ma per il resto.....
Siamo rimasti delusi in quanto la camera era piccolissima (era la n. 32), con mobili vecchi, caldissima, per cui eravamo costretti a dormire con la finestra aperta e arrivavano i rumori dalla strada anche se eravamo sul dietro. La colazione era veramente ottima come pure l'aperitivo nel tardo pomeriggio, ma sinceramente in albergo si va soprattutto per riposarsi e dormire bene e in 3 notti non siamo mai riusciti a farlo.

Grazioso alberghetto che pare uscito dalle favole
Sono stata al Petite Auberge per 2 notti con un'amica, dopo aver soggiornato in un altro albergo vicino più rinomato ma che ci aveva molto deluse. La camera era piccola ma davvero carina e... profumata! La carta da parati, i mobili e persino i pomelli delle porte avevano uno stile francese che rendeva l'ambiente molto gradevole. Carina l'idea dei biscotti e del caffè caldo (un toccasana dopo un passeggiata al gelo di San Francisco) disponibili gratuitamente nel salottino al piano inferiore. Consiglio a tutti!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were on our anniversary trip and this place was romantic with the fireplace in the room and the quaint decorations. We also loved the dining room area and the library. These are located on the property next door where continental breakfast is served. They also offered a happy hour with free wine and cheese, which we enjoyed. The overall atmosphere, the staff and the convenience of this location, made our stay a great experience.

Very good location. 5min from Powell street cable car. Gas chimney in room is great. Complementary wine and nibbles are perfect to get in touch with other guests. Staff was always friedly and helpful. We liked it very much.

I loved the fireplace, the blackout/coldout curtains, and how it felt disconnected from the rest of the hotel. The outer porch, and the way leading to it being outside was phenomenal.

Charming and welcoming
We loved our “little” getaway, especially the fireplace in the cozy but not tiny room and the overall ambiance a d furnishings. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The only thing that could have made it better would have been softer pillows. We shall be back!

Wonderful time! Except we had to move hotels to their sister property. The petit auberge had a heating problem and no heat was coming to the bottom floor. They brought us a heater and it was broken. Also the window had been left open by the cleaners. I am glad I asked to move bc our replacement room in the White Swan was beautiful. The petites furniture was old and our bed frame had broken spokes. The pillows and beds were not luxurious. Many of the older pieces should be updated. In the white swan there was the same character of a European inn but it felt cleaner and newer. The staff was excellent and the neighborhood/price perfect!

Good price, not handicapped suitable as the entrance was up at least 5steps and breakfast was in the building next door (again upstairs at entrance and then downstairs). The staff were helpful. I was upgraded to a room with a fireplace. This did not provide much heat. One of the two bedside lights did not work at all, the other flickered in a way it wasn’t designed to.

The staff are wonderful — superior service, great recommendations, and delicious breakfast. The evening reception with wine, cheeses, etc. also was such a welcoming and classy touch. We love the uniqueness of this French-themed inn and also it’s sister property (with a British theme) almost next door where we ate breakfast and drank wine by the fireplace. Great location too.

My stay was both bad and good. The hotel itself is very old, which is ok, but there was a terrible squeak above my room from anyone waking up there and the antique elevator was right beside me as well, which is very loud. I got maybe five hours of sleep the first night between the two. Thankfully, the staff were terrific and moved me to the top floor in their next door sister hotel the White Swan (which has supposedly thicker walls) and I slept MUCH better! The breakfast is fantastic and I really enjoyed the overall experience. If I were to book again I’d go to the White Swan to start out with.

Amazing value, perfect location.
Super comfy, the fire place in the room is very cool. I also love smaller properties as the level of service is much higher.
