Our daughter attends San Jose State University. We’re in San Jose frequently. Hotel hits all matrix points. Affordable, clean, ground floor, excellent breakfast and a definite highlight on awesome staff. I’ve stayed at this hotel six times and the staff is consistently kind and courteous.

The place is nice, clean, and affordable. It's right off Hwy 101, near the San Jose Airport. That's a convenient location. My room was good. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast is included and it has the basics including coffee, eggs, make-your-own-waffles, cereal, and juice. Since it is across the highway from the airport, you will hear planes taking off, but it's not too bad. Since I was up early and out of the room by 7 a.m., and didn't return until much later, the sound of the planes wasn't a big deal. There's a Burger King next door and that's always good for a quick meal if you need it. Other places to eat are nearby, but you need a vehicle or you can Uber/Lyft. Good value.

Convenient, comfortable, and just a few minutes from the airport. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful, even arriving at 2am: picked up within minutes.

The overall stay was convenient. Parking is free however if you leave your vehicle and take the shuttle to the airport while traveling, they want to charge you $80 flat fee for up to 1 week. I was not informed prior to my stay despite calling ahead to arrange. The long term airport parking is cheaper as is the satellite lots you can pay to park. Very deceiving and I will be sure to look at other hotel options in the future.

The hot water in my assigned room did not work. I requested it to be repaired. When I returned I asked if it had been addressed, the representative said yes. When I took a shower this morning, the hot water still did not work. I would not stay here again.

2nd Floor “squeak” is very annoying especially when you’re trying to sleep after a long drive. CCTV and lighting doesn’t seem to deter strangers from peeking inside parked guest vehicles.

Man in the front who checked us in did not let us know our room was outside. He didn’t even bother to give us a map or let us know it was outside. We requested for another room and he stated that was the last one for a double queen. We got another room with a king size and when we entered, it smelled so bad. We had to open all the windows. There was a fly in the room as well.

Air conditioner was busted. Front desk offered little help when complaining. Room was super hot, despite it not even being that warm outside. Very strange. Decent free breakfast - though would have appreciate a gluten free cereal option. Cheerios aren't that hard. AC eventually semi-worked, but then it whined/groaned every time it turned off - loudly enough to wake me up. Thin walls as well - was lulled to sleep almost every night by the snoring symphony of my neighbor.

Stay was fine. Ive stayed here a few times and planned on it again but its now been 11 days since my stay and my $100 deposit still has not been returned. I was only in the room for about 8 hrs so no reason not to return my deposit!

Breakfast was OK, I’ve had better continental breakfasts before. The staff during that time was a little rude about us trying to take our food back to room with a plate, but then failed to have paper plates out for us to use. Ended up fine after that. Learning we had to pay half day to check in early a couple hours, never had that before normally it’s they have a room if they do and allow us in. Otherwise everything was fine.
