Casa Barranco is an absolutely stunning new 4-bedroom vacation home in Coco Bay Estates.  Translated to "ravine" in English, Casa Barranco sits high on a hill with sweeping views of the Pacifico Ocean, Playas del Coco, and Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.  This modern house has a spectacular covered terrace with a unique pool/hot tub combination, beautiful decor, and gorgeous finishes.

Coco Bay Estates is a gated community located between Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal.  Tucked off the main road, you are just a 5-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Playas del Coco.  Guests can access the development's on-site fitness facility including a gym and tennis courts, and use the facilities at Ocotal Beach Club, in Playa Ocotal.  The entry is through a guarded security gate and the development has 24-hour on-site security.  

Playas del Coco is just a 25-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR).  Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!
The main level of the house enters to the open-concept kitchen, dining, and indoor/outdoor living space.  The sleek kitchen features stainless steel appliances, beautiful cabinetry, and breakfast bar seating for 4.  The dining table seats 8 and flows right into the comfortable living room.  This space is surrounded by windows and doors that open to the covered terrace with a skylight over the unique pool/hot tub.  Enjoy beautiful breezes while you cook up a feast on the outdoor gas grill, complete with an extractor fan to keep the terrace free of smoke.  The outdoor seating area has a lounge area with a comfy conversation set and lounge chairs ... all with gorgeous views of Playas del Coco and the Papagayo Peninsula.  Both the indoor and outdoor space share a Bluetooth sound system for your vacation tunes.

Head down the hallway and pass a full bathroom before you reach the stunning primary bedroom.  This room has a private balcony with amazing views, complete with a conversation set and oversized egg chair.  This bedroom has a King and a Smart TV with digital cable, should you tire of looking at the views.  The open closet leads to a bathroom with double sinks and a stunning shower room with a freestanding soaker tub and a wall of sliding doors that completely open to the private terrace.  This space is truly unbelievable.

Downstairs, the lower level of the home opens to a comfortable den with a Smart TV with digital cable and a sofabed for extra sleeping space.  Just off the den are 2 more bedrooms, each with private balconies, king beds, and beautiful ensuite bathrooms.  Through a small courtyard, you enter the laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer.

The final section of the lower level is a one-bedroom casita with separate access from either the laundry space or the lower-level parking area.  The casita has a lounge area with a futon and Smart TV with digital cable, a dining table that seats 4, and a small kitchen with a full-size fridge, microwave, and 4-burner cooktop.  The bedroom is separated from the living space by a glass door that allows light in from the private balcony.  The bedroom has a king bed, closet, and full bathroom.  This space is perfect for guests who want some separation and privacy.  The futon can be used as a sleeping space but the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom so we recommend using this extra sleeping spot for kids.

The home has private, covered parking with space for 4 vehicles. Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with! Golf carts are NOT permitted in this section of the development due to the steep terrain. We do not recommend renting this home without a rental car or private driver.  We do not have Uber or Lyft here and taxis are not always readily available.

A NOTE ABOUT PRICING - While this home sleeps 11, the pricing starts for groups of 6.  This variable pricing structure allows groups of all sizes to enjoy the home.  Please be sure to enter your accurate group size for proper pricing.
