We wanted to book this hotel for 3 people. For some reason, the settings changed after I typed it in, and it was actually booked for 2 people. We figured this happened for another hotel a few days before, so we called Expedia and Unuk to clear things up. Unuk told us we had to upgrade to a suite which was more than double the price that we had originally booked the room for. We had just missed the cancellation deadline, so they were completely not flexible. As we were figuring things out, they charged my credit card over 24 hours before our check-in time. They had specifically told me that we would be charged upon arrival, but the clerk told me he was afraid that we'd cancel so he charged us. I was very upset, as they kept telling me that I could not cancel or modify my reservation since I missed the cut-off per their policies, but they went against their own policies and charged me ahead of time. When we got there, everyone was nice, but I was very upset about the way they run their business.
