It wasn't in really what I would call a rough neighborhood but it was just in the middle of the regular part of town. The entrance to the hotel was a little hidden and the taxi driver didn't know where to stop. There were a couple of neighborhood shops right next door that you could pick up some groceries or fruits and vegetables. It was an interesting stay.
