We let the hotel know that we would be arriving early at 9:00am and the response was positive. However, when we arrived at 10:00am the receptionist told us it would be an additional $15 to check in early while also saying our room was ready. I will also add here that in our 3 night stay we only saw 1 other guest so it wasn’t a matter of the place being fully booked. It was a ghost hotel. We declined to pay the $15 and they allowed us to go to our room at 12:00. The elevator was “under maintenance” during the day but operational at around 10:00pm at night. I suppose as a way to save electricity. The rooms were clean, but the bath water was clearly brown against the white tub. Also, the room did not have cable television. We were told it was only good for YouTube. I understand tourism is down, but also don’t reopen if you can’t provide the same kind of experience that you used to, otherwise you get honest reviews like this. Overall it was a disappointment.
