Consigliatissimo!
Abbiamo approfittato del ponte del 1º maggio per una piccola vacanza. La casa è bellissima, pulita, spaziosa (in famiglia siamo in 5), silenziosa e immersa nel verde. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, discreti ma disponibili. Sulla Toscana e le sue bellezze credo ci sia poco da aggiungere. Soggiorno splendido, sono sicuro che torneremo!

Perfect Stay in Tuscany
To begin, this was one the best homes we have had the luck and pleasure to experience. The small house felt like a home. Emanuela, Roberto, and their family were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Their farm and home are a life of love and exacting design and craftsmanship. The necessities are all short drives away; small towns and the larger communes provided learning, great food, history, and art. The stay was relaxing because of the care and attention to detail that the owners supplied in renovating what was once a small barn, including the personal addition of family antiques. Everything was made even better by the personable owners. The experience was both a joy and a welcomed reprieve from our time on the road.

Geschmackvoll und handwerklich hochwertige Immobilie. Perfekte Lage für Ausflüge in die Crete, nach Siena, San Gimignano... Liebenswert diskrete Vermieter. Oberes Stockwerk (Schlafzimmer)klimatisiert und mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet. Bequeme Gartenmöbel, separierter ca 50 Meter vom Haupthaus vor dem Turm nicht einsehbar gelegener Sitzbereich. Das Auto kann man direkt vor dem Eingang (Schatten) parken. Blick über Felder, Obstbäume und das Tal.

Un angolo di paradiso nella campagna Senese
Siamo stati accolti da Emanuela e Roberto come persone di famiglia. All'arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare una bttiglia di vino (buonissimo!), il loro olio e i pomodori del loro campo.Accoglienza top!! Abbiamo chiesto di poter far soggiornare per una notte dei nostri amici e si sono resi disponibili. Ci hanno consigliato posti in cui mangiare e abbiamo chiacchierato come se ci conoscessimo da tempo. La casa è curata, pulita, arrredata e corredata di tutto il necessario. A soli 15 minuti da Siena nella pace della campagna con un panaorama fantastico. Loro sono stati degli ospiti disponibili e cortesi, lo consiglierò sicuramente e spero di tornarci in altre occasioni!!

A superb Tuscan retreat
A beautiful property only 15 minutes from Siena. Emanuela was a brilliant host. We had everything we could need in the property and the views and location was superb. We managed to visit Siena, Florence, Pisa and several of the local towns and villages of the Sovicille area. Beware of the mosquitos in an evening, but you should also take great delight at seeing the bats and birds flitting about as the sun sets over the hills. A gorgeous property and a lovely welcome and overall stay. Thank you!

Fijn vakantiehuis en heel vriendelijke eigenaren!
Voor het tweede jaar op rij opnieuw onze vakantie doorgebracht in dit mooie vakantiehuis in Cerreto Selva (nabij Sovicille). We hebben weer een heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze mooie en rustige omgeving. Fijne contacten gehad met Emmanuela en Roberto Pappini (eigenaren) en de rest van de familie. Het zijn uitermate vriendelijke mensen. Het vakantiehuis is zeer schoon en comfortabel. Wij gaan zeker opnieuw terug naar deze plek!

An idyllic piece of heaven in the Tuscan hills
If you're looking for the perfect home base for a few days in Tuscany then look no further. Emanuela and Roberto are wonderful hosts. They live next door and were very attentive to our needs without being the slightest bit intrusive. They shared a bottle of the wine and olive oil they produced and it was fabulous. English is not their first language but Emanuela made a valiant effort. We used a translation app on our phone when needed and it was great fun. The accommodation is spacious, authentically rustic and clean. It was renovated with great care and attention to detail. The views are spectacular and the location (about 15-20 minutes from Siena) made it easy to enjoy our day trips to places like Pisa, Val d'Orcia and Civita di Bagnoregio. We will not hesitate to stay again when we return to Tuscany. Thank you so much Emanuela and Roberto.

Beautiful, peaceful space with amazing views
The property was a little hard to find (they do need to update Google maps) but the written instructions eventually got us there. It was worth it. The place was well equipped, comfortable and quite beautiful. The apartment is close to the house but still private. It is about 15 minutes to Siena, but you will definitely need a car. Buses aren't close by. Shops and restaurants are a short drive. Definitely a great place to stay if you have a car. Would love to come back.

In Spite of the Weather, Tuscany is Wonderful
The house is a renovated barn, but you would never know it. The craftsmanship of the work is second to none. This is the best mattress we have ever had in a VRBO. Parking is literally just outside the front door. Photos are an accurate depiction of the property. The welcoming owners live in the house next door and are more than gracious hosts. We would stay there again if we return to the Siena area.

Amazing Tuscan countryside cottage!!
Emanuela and family were great! When we arrived they gave us a tour of the property and explained everything we needed to know. Also provided goods from the farm i.e. wine, eggs and olive oil. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. Great central location for a visit to Tuscany. Parking was easy. We were 16 minutes tops from downtown Siena, and just about an hour from hilltowns like Volterra, Montelcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. There was even a neat Etruscan Necropolis to explore on the side of the road, just 6 minutes away. I would absolutely stay here again. Beautiful property and very kind owners!! 10/10

This is a beautiful barn conversion with excellent air conditioning, bed linen, showers and a stunning outside area with views. Sehr schöner Toskana-Urlaub mit viel Sonne
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich und mit Produkten der eigenen Landwitschaft der Vermieter empfangen. Das Ferienhaus ist genau so wie beschrieben und wir fanden es sehr sauber vor. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und zweckmäßig, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind bequem und wir erhielten frische Bettwäsche nach einer Woche seitens der freundlichen Vermieterin. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die professionellen Insektengitter an den Fenstern. Insgesamt war die Familie sehr bemüht, uns einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Auch der Garten und die bequemen Gartenmöbel sind sehr gu zu nutzen. Wir haben viel Zeit im Garten verbracht und alle Mahlzeiten dort eingenommen.Wir können das Haus wirklich für einen Toskana-Urlaub empfehlen. Der Ort Sovicille ist ideal, um die Toskana kennen zu lernen. Die letzten Tage unseres Urlaubs war es ungewöhnlich heiß (teilweise bis 38 Grad) aber die Mittagszeit ließ sich unter den schattenspendenden Bäumen gut aushalten.

Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend. Die Beschreibung ist wie angegeben. Alles ist technisch in gutem Zustand, das Haus und das Anwesen sind sehr gepflegt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich, bei Anreise hatten wir aus dem hofeigenen Anbau Rotwein, Olivenöl und Eier! Alle Fragen und Wünsche, die wir während des Aufenthaltes hatten, wurden beantwortet oder erfüllt.

Urlaub in der Toskana
Wir haben hier schöne 10 Tage verbracht. Vom ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf die Landschaft. Siena ist in nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in einem Radius von max. einer Stunde. Die Vermieterfamilie wohnt im Haus nebenan und war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren Mitte Oktober hier, man sollte bedenken das es auch kühler werden kann und zusätzlich Heizkosten anfallen. Im Haus befindet sich auch ein Kamin, Holz gab es gratis.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Siena
Wir haben mit unseren Teenagern eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage (sehr ruhig und schön gelegen, gute Verkehrsanbindung) und die nette Betreuung und Versorgung durch die Vermieter. Das Haus ist klein aber sehr gut aufgeteilt, auch die zwei Bäder sind sehr angenehm. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder zu unserem nächsten Toskana-Urlaub.

Agriculturo stay
We had a wonderful slowing down a bit and we exploring the area and villages. We enjoyed doing some of our own cooking and trying the Tuscan wines. The hosts were very helpful in getting us oriented and offering some of their fresh foods and wine.

Country cottage
We spent a month at this property. The cottage is cozy and the host family is wonderful. The bedrooms are a good size and the view from the master bedroom was beautiful. We were looking for a place that was quiet but had easy access to the surrounding towns and sights. We did not have a car but we found the bus or train was a great way to get around. The bus stop from the house was about a 20 minute easy walk and a time to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the area. Watching the sunset from our lawn chairs each night was a favorite activity.

Wonderful & Unforgettable
Friends and I spent two wonderful weeks touring beautiful Toscana, soaking up the warm sun and enjoying delicious cuisine. This house was a comfortable residence for us to stay, offering all amenities of home. Our hosts were most gracious and helpful, able to offer valuable suggestions for visiting sites and enjoying the hospitality of local restaurants. Grazie tante! The house was ideally located for our visits of numerous art museums, sculpture parks and beautiful towns. The evening visit of Siena was memorable with its very special flair, a combination of mild temperature, illuminated streets and buildings and nighttime atmosphere of people enjoying a stroll through the city. We enjoyed our breakfast and evening meals outdoors, in the shade of a large oak tree. Pheasants, rabbits, deer and more countless variety of birds were regular visitors to the neighboring fields. Every evening we enjoyed local wine and delighted as the pipistrelli fed on insects and numerous glowworms swarmed to perform their light show on the lawn and orchards. We will miss these pleasant days in Sovicille.

Einfach nur wunderschön!!!!
Wir haben Ende April 1 Woche im tollen Ferienhaus der Familie Papini verbracht. Wir wurden sehr nett vom Alessandro und seiner Mutter empfangen, es gab sogar ein kleines Willkommenspräsent bestehend aus einer Flasche Wein, Olivenöl und Eiern. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für alle Arten von Ausflügen quer durch die Toskana. Bis ans Meer ist es ein bisschen weiter (ca.100 km) aber auf der Fahrt dorthin , kann man die Schönheiten der Toskana in vollen Zügen genießen. Siena ist quasi direkt um die Ecke. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, man hat wirklich alles, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, tolle Matratzen, auch die Bäder sind schön. Man kann auch wunderschön draußen vor dem Haus sitzen und einfach nur die Gegend auf sich wirken lassen. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, es war für Ende April/Anfang Mai nachts wirklich sehr kalt. Das ist auch das einzige kleine negative Detail am Haus, es kühlt halt sehr schnell aus, so daß noch zusätzliche Kosten für die Heizung entstehen. Es wäre zwar möglich gewesen, den Kamin zu benutzen, aber damit kennen wir uns nicht aus. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen und können das Haus absolut empfehlen.

Goed huis, goede (harde) matrassen, alles goed schoon, lieve verhuurders. Centraal gelegen. Dichtbij Siena, uurtje van Florence, vrij ver van de kust (dat wel) maar gewoon prima.

Einfach wunderbar!
Wir verbrachten 10 Tage in Sovicille. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, umgeben von den sanften, toskanischen Hügeln und einer eher extensiv bewirtschafteten Landschaft. Man hört abends Tiere, wie Fasane, die es bei uns kaum noch gibt. Das Haus selbst ist genau so, wie es auf den Fotos auch dargestellt ist. Ländlich charmant, sehr liebevoll und detailversessen ausgebaut, alles handwerklich gute Qualität. Es war bei unserer Ankunft top-sauber, freundlich dekoriert und auch die Aussenflächen sehr gepflegt. Wir waren hingerissen! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt alles, was man braucht. Auf dem Tisch wartete ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk in Form von frischen Hühnereiern, Olivenöl und Rotwein aus eigener Produktion auf uns. Sehr nett. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr hilfsbereit, unauffällig präsent - aber keinesfalls aufdringlich . Man bemerkt kaum, dass jemand anderes anwesend ist. Das gesamte Anwesen war sehr gepflegt, einladend und südlich rustikal. Perfekt für alle, die einen ruhigen Urlaub auf dem Land verbringen wollen - und trotzdem die toskanischen Highlights (Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano...) erleben möchten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

A notre arrivée ils nous ont offert des oeufs, du vin, de l'huile d'olive et des artichauts de leur jardin et du bois pour le barbecue.Les atouts de ce gite sont le calme une vue extraordinaire sur les montagnes.et proche de Sienne,Florence et San Gimignano lieux absolument à visiter. Nous pensons revenir un jour. (une grosse caresse à Lampo ) ciao et VIVA ITALIA

Prestation de haut niveau
très belle maison agencée et meublée avec gout et beaux matériaux au calme et bien située pour découvrir la Toscane. La literie est très bonne. La famille propriétaire sont sympathiques, serviables et discrets. tout a été parfait. A découvrir!

Pour profiter pleinement de la Toscane
Cette maison joliment aménagée offre le calme de la campagne toscane tout en étant proche de Sienne (6km). Emmanuela, Roberto et leur fils Alessandro ont été très accueillants et attentifs à notre confort, de bons conseils pour trouver le parking le plus pratique à Sienne, pour donner les bonnes adresses dans la région. Notre séjour a été trop court mais cela donne envie de rester plus longtemps pour profiter du calme et de la lumière Toscane (visitée en ce début octobre) et d'une maison très agréable.
