Ich kann über die Unterkunft nichts sagen, außer dass sie belegt war und wir uns etwas anderes suchen mussten. Wenn wir nicht gekommen wären, hätten wir den vollen Betrag bezahlen müssen. Eigentlich sollte es umgekehrt genauso sein. Werde über Expedia bestimmt nichts mehr buchen!!!

Prettig verblijf
Bij het inchecken was er niemand aanwezig, maar na een belletje en duidelijke instructies konden we wel de kamer in. Op de site staat gratis parkeer plekken maar je moet in de straten rond het apartment zoeken naar een vrije plek (erg druk dus je moet mazzel hebben wil je je auto kwijt kunnen). Buiten kant van het appartement ziet er niet echt floreurs uit, kamers daarin tegen zijn erg nettjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Eenigste min puntje is wel dat het erg gehorig is. Verder is de ligging van het appartement goed je bent zo in de oude stad en je heb ook een aantal openbare strandjes op loop afstand. We hebben ons verblijf als prettig ervaren bij apartments en rooms golden gate.

Vlakbij Centrum
-vlakbij centrum goede plus -nette prijs en goed en schoon sanitair -makkelijke toegang en communicatie -enige minpunt, het bed miste een stabiliteitspoot in het midden. Je lag met 2 personen in een soort kuil. Wellicht dat dit het enige bed was.

Zimmer in Split
Die 6 Zimmer sind in einem Wohnhaus untergebracht. Vor der Anreise sollte man sich mit dem Vermieter wegen der Schlüsselhinterlegung in Verbindung setzen. Zimmerreinigung gab es nicht. Frische Handtücher wurden an die Tür gehängt.

The location is at a quiet area and is close to the old city centre in general, about 15 minutes walk. However, the condition of the room itself can be improved. Mainly there is no hot water for shower for the 2 nights so I have to bare with the cold water; the linen and duvet seems not too clean and I had a mild allergy on the skin in the morning. The boiler seems haven’t been used for some time and despite we have cleaned twice there are still scums on the poured water.

Thought we had booked a double apartment, don't recall seeing that we had booked a double room. On arrival we were assigned to a twin bed in a cramped room. Phoned immediately to see if this could be amended. They sorted a double out for us which was ok (but still not an apartment) with the condition that we paid an extra €40 and moved room on the last night, which was an actual apartment. While there another 2 travellers were assigned to the same twin, they also complained and were discounted. Can't say for definite whether the mistake was mine in booking, although there were 2 of us looking at the screen at the time. Check the confirmation when you book! :) Also this place takes Euros in cash on/the day after arrival so don't worry about changing enough Kuna over.

Dear mr. Arthur, we apologize but it wasn't our mistake. You have booked smallest and cheapest room in our accommodation - twin room. Twin room means separate beds and you could see this in description and also on photos. Room never includes kitchen, because if it has kitchen than it would be apartment. You could book and pay double price for apartment when you've been choosing your unit but you decide to book twin room and than expected a kitchen in it? It's written also the size of the room and facilities so please read it carefuly next time. Apologize but it wasn't our mistake. Thank you for your understunding

Beautiful with a small patio, a micrwave would be nice though. Requires a 5 min drive for any amenities.

Hotel was easy to find and it was in very good location just 10minutes walk from old town or bus station. Room was nice and clean.Katarina (hotel owner i think) was very friendly and she managed us to get the apartment room earlier because of our early flight to Split. We stayed for a week in a Golden rooms and apartment and it was really nice stay. I recommend this hotel!!

mäßiges Zimmer für stattlichen Preis
Es waren die letzten beiden Nächte bevor wir aus unserem Urlaub wieder nach Hause geflogen sind. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, innerhalb weniger Gehminuten ist man am Diokletians Palast. Das Zimmer ist äußerst klein ausgefallen, der Boden stand auf und die beiden Betten waren in schlechtem Zustand. Die Matratzen waren durchgelegen und beide Betten knarzten extrem, sobald man sich auch nur geringfügig bewegt hat. Ein Tisch mit Stühlen war nicht vorhanden, dafür wäre das Zimmerchen auch viel zu klein gewesen. Nicht einmal zwei Koffer hatten im aufgeklappten Zustand Platz. Das Zimmer und speziell das Bad waren sauber. Noch einmal würde ich hier nicht übernachten wollen, dafür war der Preis zu hoch und die Leistung nicht befriedigend.

Fiquei num quarto com. 2 camas twin, horríveis, faziam muito barulho, você se mexe na cama e acorda por conta do barulho, impossível dormir, além disso o quarto muito pequeno, mal dava para abrir a mala.

Easy and Practical
Overall a positive experience, efficient checking and checkout, the manager was very helpful and we had a great communication, security system works perfect and the best part is the location! Easy to walk to everywhere. My only concern: I booked a room that offered city view and there wasn't. :/

A cama barulhenta
Sem querer reservei um quarto com cama de casal e outro de solteiro, o de casal é igual o da foto, confortável, espaçoso, mas o de solteiro, impossível dormir com uma cama tão barulhenta, se eu me mexesse eu me acordava com o barulho... Impossível ter conforto em um quarto apertado com uma cama horrível, é o pior a diferença de preço em relação ao outro de casal foi mínima, muita disparidade na comparação entre os dois quartos. Tive que tirar as camas e dormir com o colchão no chão, para conseguir dormir. Então cuidado com os quartos com cama twin....

Decent stay, but check-in was confusing.
Had a decent stay, but it was confusing for the check-in. Got to the apartment only to find out nobody is there. People that were staying in the next room said my keycard was in the desk outside the rooms. But was stranded when I got there. Was told to call number on the front door, but nobody answered. Had a decent stay, however, would not book there again.

Great Location
Apartment was easy to find coming from the main street. Paid parking nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check-in check-out. Clean and spacious room with modern finishes and conveniences. Wifi was intermittent. Short walk to Diocletian's Palace and city centre.

ok för bara övernattning
Svårt att hitta, ingen bild på framsidan så vi visste inte hur huset såg ut, ingen personal tillgänglig, taxichauffören fick hjälpa oss! Framgick inte av hotellbeskrivningen att det var ett vanligt hus med små rum till turister, hade varit lättare att hitta då!!!

Det var lidt svært at finde, da vi kom da det var mørkt. Værelset var fint og havde hvad man skulle bruge. Vi havde dog booket med by-udsigt, og der var ikke meget by-oversigt, da vinduerne havde fået film på, sådan at man ikke kunne kigge ud. Desuden var vores værelse vendt mod en baggård. Ellers lå det 2 minutters gang til den gamle bydel. Dette er blot værelser og ikke noget hotel.

Ingen reception
Perfekt rum att sova över på några dagar när man reser genom split. Rwnt och bra läge. Fräscht rum vilket jag värdesätter mest. Kan va lite krångligt med incheckning då det inte finns reception och då måste du ringa ägaren för att tala om att du är framme. Det finns däremot ingen info om detta på hotellet.

Never met owner, and wifi password was not written down anywhere. Nice rooms though, and owner was helpful on the phone. Other than that, little information was given regarding for example what code opened the front door and such.

Billigt boende på gångavstånd till centrum/strand.
Billigt lägenhetsboende. Helt och rent vid ankomst men inget städ under veckan vi bodde där. Helt ok med tanke på vad det kostade.

Compact and Bijou!
Good Points: Clean and recently refurbished. Close to the town and local bus station. Good air conditioning. Bad Points: Tiny bathroom complete with tripping hazard at the door (stone threshold to stop water getting into the bedroom?) My husband got up off the loo and cracked his head on the towel rail ... that's how small it is! New TV but nowhere to plug it in other than the bathroom so had to limbo dance under the flex! Cheap and nasty memory foam mattress on beds .... not good support and NOISY ... groaned and screeched at every move. Not a single hook or hanger in the place ... really??? Glad when our four nights were up really!

Vi bodde der ei uke. Ingen rengjøring, bytte av håndduk eller påfyll av toalett papir i denne perioden. Senga var steinhard, dusjen var i en krok i inngangspartiet av rommet. Ingen mulighet til å ordne seg kaffe. Rommet lå sentralt og byen er lett å finne fram i. Rommet var rent når vi ankom. Golden gate var ikke plassen vi oppholdt oss i ferien og navnet lo vi en del av. Dette er ikke en folden gate.

Very far from bus stop no service .
Far from bus stand , location not given properly so difficult to find apartment. No service , no contect person in case if you need some thing. I want recommend any one. Room was clean on fist day after no cleaning was done.

These are not apartments - they are just rooms except for one. They are not cleaned regularly as state. The owner or representative is tricky and we were conned in a minor way. They are cheap clean and well fitted out, but are like a 2-star room in a hotel with few facilities. However we were able to up grade for most of our stay to a room with a small kitchen. There are no freezers. The cleaner was helpful and we borrowed a kettle and cups, but they were not in the room. This is one to be a little bit careful of. If there are any noisy people staying in the other rooms you will certainly know about it. The Wi-Fi is variable.

Enjoyed My Stay
Very close to the Old Town, very clean room, and very helpful staff! Only complaint was all-day construction going on directly behind my room, but this was obviously not within the apartment owner's control.

旧市街まで歩いて3〜5分
前日に鍵の受け渡しのアポイントメントの際、到着したら連絡ということで、ドブロブニクではかなり迷ったので不安でした。暑い中スタッフの方が案の定迷いそうなポイントで、待っていてくれました。助かりました。部屋はとてもキレイでエアコンもよく効いたのですが、冷蔵庫がなかったのが夏は不便でした。夏のピークだったので立地も考えると値段相応かなと。

親切にと思い、チェックインをする時間帯を告げておいたが、ホテルに着くと建物の正面ドアの前にホテルの名前と電話番号があるだけ。そこに電話をして猛暑の中建物の外で7~8分待つと、ホテルの人が他の場所から駆けつけて建物のドアを開けてくれる。現地で使える携帯電話があったから良かったけど、他の人たちはどうやってホテルの人を呼ぶのだろうか？ そしてチェックインをすると、部屋のカードキーと、他の鍵を「これは特に必要ないけど、一応渡しておく」と言ってもらった。部屋を出てホテルに戻ると、建物正面の鍵が閉まっていて、その「必要はないけど、一応」渡してもらった鍵を使って建物に入れた。これがなかったら、また電話をして、建物の前でホテルの人を待たなければならなかったのだろうか？案の定、その後またホテルを出てから帰って来ると、ホテルの他のゲストが建物の前で中に入れなくて困っていた。その人たちは、そのドアの鍵をもらっていなかったという。 以上が不満な点で、良い点を言うと、チェックインの数日前にホテルからのメールで、私たちが予約した部屋は3人には少し小さくあまり快適ではないので（それを承知の上で、安いその部屋を予約したのだが）、もう少し大きなベッドのある部屋があるが、いかがですか？という質問が届いた。「同じ値段でアップグレードできるのならば」と返事をしたら、同じ値段で全く問題ないとのこと。おかげで部屋にいる間は快適に過ごせました。場所も街の中心から遠くなく、良いロケーションだと思います。 上記二つの不満点に問題がなければ、おすすめできると思います。

We expected a much larger room twin beds with the feet back to back isn't what we bargained for. Disappointing. The room and bath were very clean and the TV had English channels which was nice. The hallway noise was bad and the front door of complex was locked when we came home at 12:30 thank god for the couple that arrived at the same time with a key to open the main door. We weren't told the door would be locked after a certain hour.
