La casa nella prateria
Stanza in una bellissima casa nella prateria, comoda, pulita, spaziosa, con un impeccabile wifi! Colazione superlativa, così come l'accoglienza della padrona di casa. Buona posizione per visitare il King's canyon.

La struttura è situata in mezzo alla campagna, molto tranquillo e con un bel panorama. La proprietaria è molto simpatica e di compagnia, colazione molto buona e (frutta locale ottima). La pulizia della camera non è per i più esigenti e lo stesso vale anche per il bagno, nello specifico il pavimento del bagno e la moquette non risultavano ben puliti, ma tutto sommato è una buona struttura.

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience! The place is very nice and quiet, in the countryside but very close to the Kings Canyon Natinal Park. Breakfast was good and rich, with home made biscuits. Connie is a very nice host and she gave us precious suggestions about what to see and what hikes do in the parks. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a phenomenal place to stay. If you’re looking for place nearby look no further. Connie is extremely warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. She also makes the best breakfasts, which is incredible way to start a long day of hiking! The place is on a beautiful property with friendly dogs only 30 mins away from the entrance to Kings Canyon. I would absolutely stay here anytime I’m in the area and cannot recommend it enough. I was also able to purchase an amazing wooden hiking staff that her son made. Connie I got it through TSA!

Connie is a wonderful host. Very kind and accommodating and full of helpful information about the local area. And her hot breakfast was delicious— freshly made veggie omelet, fresh fruit and berries and freshly baked biscuits and jam. Coffee and OJ. Great way to start the day. Great launching point for Kings Canyon/ Sequoia National Park.

Everything was amazing.
Great location, clean and very welcoming host. Loved the humming birds and the dogs. Food was great and Connie helped me plan my day trips into 3 parks. I will stay here when back in the area.

This is a traditional B&B and it was a great experience. Connie is a very nice host. The breakfast was traditional family style breakfast which is delicious! We are hoping to go back again when we visit Sequoia/Kings Canyon.

Connie is an awesome host! The room is huge and all on one floor, no steps anywhere! The four of us were only there one night and we wish we could have stayed longer. Connie is full of information and offers great conversation. The Humming birds are a great addition to the place. It was our stay while doing King Canyon and Sequoia's. If we are every back in the area this would be the place we would choose to stay!

Connie is a wonderful hostess! She makes a delicious breakfast every morning. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. She has a lot of knowledge about the parks and helped us decide on which trails to check out. Staying at the Branded Calf is like staying with family.

We were made to feel like this was our home. The hostess was friendly and fixed a delicious breakfast for all her guests. Outside were many hummingbird feeders with birds visiting all day. There were also friendly dogs to interact with. This is a perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Sequoia, Kings Canyon, area. Project Survival Cat Haven is also minutes away.

On our way to Sequoia
Very nice place. We stopped there on our way to Sequoia National Park and it's very convenient to reach the park from here. The breakfast was excellent and we were welcomed like premium guests ! The room was large enough for 4 people and m'y kids loved to play with the dogs and the puppies. Great place to stay at

We really enjoyed our stay at The Branded Calf. Connie is a wonderful host and her breakfasts are delicious! Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were made to feel at home. The area is beautiful and there’s very easy access to Kings Canyon, about 30 minutes drive away. We loved meeting the other guests at the breakfast table and making a fuss of Connie’s dogs Jeff, and Missy, who had some adorable puppies. Another highlight was the humming birds on the back patio; absolutely fascinating! Thanks for an unforgettable stay Connie

Comfortable, clean and large rooms. Breakfast was great. It also gave us the time to receive information from our wonderful host, Connie. She gave me great information on places to go. I would love to come back and stay again.

Well, we will chime in with previous reviews to say that my son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay (2 nights, one at the beginning and one at the end of stay)! Connie is the perfect Host-_ fun and funny, not intrusive and a font of knowledge about the area!! Our breakfast conversations were the best!!! Breakfast was such a treat--homemade with care.

The lady who runs the branded calf is wonderful. Very friendly and guided us to some wonderful hikes. Breakfast was amazing. The dogs were fun. The property was in a beautiful spot with lovely views! I highly recommend this place!
