Beach house

I have a beautiful home minutes from Clearwater Beach. It’s a two bedroom two bath with an inground pool in the backyard. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood located in Belleair bluffs. This house also comes with a game room which includes foosball, pool table, ping-pong table, hockey, and a PlayStation. Also has washer and dryer. Very comfortable home.

Didn’t Stay!!! No Communication!!!
I reached out to the owner Christian P before and after booking the house with VRBO. I never heard from him no received any information about how to access the house. An hour away from our arrival time on Day 1, I still hadn’t heard so I called the phone number listed with the property. It disconnected every time I called it. I reached out to VRBO who was also unable to contact the owner so VRBO cancelled the reservation and assisted us with finding a new place. It was very frustrating and a total disappointment to our family. All the groceries and things we bought so we could cook and stay in a house were wasted money (400 extra dollars worth) bc we wound up having to stay in hotel rooms with mini fridges and a microwave. VRBO worked hard to help us recover, but I wouldn’t risk staying here. I hope VRBO takes the property down so no one else has to deal with this situation. I couldn’t leave this review without having to check all the available boxes, so I can’t really judge the house itself or location.

Where do I Start
Review Warning: AC does not get below 80° after 11am. We bought 2 really good fans to help circulate air hoping it would cool it down and help keep it cool but it never helped. There were piles of dirt behind the couches. You will be asked to lie to neighbors and say you are family visiting. According to city laws in this particular area, I believe he illegally rents this home out on VRBO. Although he is pet friendly, he did not have the yard mowed before our arrival or while there. Found build up gunk and hair on floor next to toilet and on the sides of toilet. Our kitchen sink and the bathroom tub both backed up. No curtain in the bathroom. Neighbor was able to see clearly into the bathroom. Coffee pot in had moldy filter left in it. Fridge dripped water causing the drawer to fill with water. Back screened porch are where you were allowed to smoke was extremely unkept. Door was off the hinges. Tears all throughout the screening. Sliding glass door appeared to have not been cleaned in quite sometime. Gate to fenced pool was broken. Pool deck was filthy. He did allow us to use his grill that had a propane tank. He did supply brand new towels and wash clothes. But we had to wash them before using. Dishwasher didn’t work. Had no sharp knives or scissors. Brand new bedding on bed was full of sand. Found a few dirty kids socks and toys were under the bed. The tile in the bathroom shower is busted. He’s missing air vents on the ceiling.
