Ideal hang out to explore Siracusa
Don't be put off by the slightly "shabby" entrance, once inside it is clean, cool and fine. The location is a great place to discover Siracusa, you just walk into the lively Ortigia.

Charming stay in Ortigia
Ortigia is a fantastic place to stay. There are loads of good restaurants and bars, fabulous architecture to see and lots of old streets to wander around. The apartment was an excellent base - comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The neighbourhood is quiet and the bed is super comfy so we slept really well. The terrace directly off the kitchen was lovely for eating or relaxing. There are a few things to note: The pictures of the apartment slightly exaggerate the size of the rooms, particularly the bedroom and bathroom The shower cubicle is small and the bathrooms would benefit from an update. There are a lot of steps up to the apartment so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues Don't let all this put you off - this is a still a nice place to stay.

I am happy that you were well in the house, being in the historic center, the house is an attic floor on the second floor with stairs, as it has been described, just because it is at the top has a beautiful panoramic view with glimpse of the sea. Fanstastic Apartment
Antonella is a wonderful host. Very quick to respond and very friendly. She showed us around the apartment and how everything worked. Despite not speaking English and I not speaking Italian we managed very very well. The apartment is in a lovely quiet street where you can people watch and there is a lovely view of the ocean. The apartment itself is clean, wonderfully laid out and has an amazing terrace. Antonella left everything we needed. Towels, cleaning supplies etc. The bed is one of the best I have slept in. Kitchen has everything you need and she left us a bottle of wine and fresh strawberries, a delightful surprise. The apartment had great wifi as well. You are within 3 minutes of the markets and main areas. I would love to stay here again and hope to do so in the near future. Thank you Antonella
