4 bedrooms!
Plenty of space for a family of 5 and our dog with 4 bedrooms, a dining room, and a living room. Convenient to the highway. It was fine for us for two nights, and we ate out or microwaved our meals. Kitchen is not well-stocked for cooking for a longer stay.

Amazing Experience
Our family traveled to Tallahassee to visit a sick relative and our stay was amazing. The weather was cool out and we were nice and cozy inside. We typically rent hotels and go out to eat, however, we enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and adapted to the amenities quickly. The only thing I would suggest is having a broom since there are hardwood floors we had to tidy up throughout the day, other than that, it was a lovely home and we will book again in the future.

Low Quality
We were in town for a funeral and chose to stay here based on the photos and the proximity to our needed location. The house itself presented as the photos, but the neighborhood had surrounding homes that were in very poor condition and we felt bit unsafe. The single key we were given only worked on the garage door and at night, there was zero light to aid entry. There was also a slight mold smell upon entry and we could not get the wifi to work properly. The kitchen appliances were in poor condition. The ice maker would not work, the stove had grease in the bottom that burned heavy smoke when the unit was used and microwave shows signs of heavy use. There was a set of pots and pans, but all showed signs of heavy use. There was one dull knife available for cutting and no acceptable food prep bowls. The bathroom facilities were just ok, the larger hall bath tub needs refinishing and there was a very old, blue, stained towel set placed on the bar, which was very off-putting. We removed it to the hall linen closet. The hall linen closet is where we found a mishmash of old towels that appeared to be left by other tenants. There were just four thin, dingy unmatched bath towels available for the four of us. The washcloths were thin and dingy and did not match the other towels. We had to wash the towels daily with hand soap and bleach as no detergent was available. Complicating this was the washer machine timer appears to be broken and will not stop the unit as it should. The second bathroom was located in one of the bedrooms contained a very small stand up shower. The beds were very low to the floor and extremely uncomfortable and squeaked with the slightest movement. One seat of pillows were placed on each bed without sanitary covers underneath the pillow case, which was again, off-putting. More care and attention to detail would make this rental a bit better. We did not feel that the house was a high quality rental and would not stay here again.

Poorly Equipped for Mature Travelers
The house wasn’t at all what we were expecting. It is in an older neighborhood and has clearly been flipped. It has great potential, with some additional amenities though. Upon arrival, the house was full of dead bugs (cockroaches and beetles) and cobwebs. Understandably, the house is in a woody area, so we were glad there was pest control. However, there was no broom or dustpan to clean up the bugs. The house has clearly been flipped and the minimalistic approach was nice, but it was not practical for a more mature guest. There was a very small selection of pots and pans, but plenty of plates and glasses. A guest is more likely to purchase plasticware than pots and pans during a short stay. My friends and I typically make meals in when we rent houses. There were no outdoor trash or recycling bins to remove the trash from the home during our stay. A larger trash bin would be helpful. -The beds are almost too low. -There was also no iron or ironing board. -The Internet didn’t seem to want to work, but we we’re finally able to get connected with the password available after we figured it was the Tupelo network and there were no spaces in the password. -The batteries were dead in the remote, so we were unable to watch the one TV in the house. -The washing machine is broken. It never completes the wash cycle and you have to force it to the rinse cycle for it to complete the process. All in all, if you are just wanting to rent a place to lay your head and you’ll be on the go, this rental works. But for the rates charged, it has to be a bit more functional then it was for adult post-college aged guests.

Evacuation stay
We were forced to evacuate during Hurricane ida. We found this house and thought it would be a great option. After being there a few days we found out that our homes suffered severe damage and we wouldn’t be able to return home as soon as we thought. We were able to add on extra nights without any problems. The house is very clean, and in a great area. We loved that the yard was fenced in so we could let our dog run and play! The owner answered any questions we had very promptly. Definitely recommend if needing to stay in the Tallahassee area!
