entspannte Lodge in der Nähe vom Toten Meer
Wir haben ein paar sehr entspannende Tage in Shkedi's Lodge im Familienbungalow verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach gehalten, es fehlt aber an absolut nichts. Man merkt wie der Besitzer sich jede Menge Mühe gemacht hat und viel Liebe in den Aufbau des Camps gesteckt hat. Die Betten im Bungalow sind gemütlich und durch die Klimaanlage schläft man auch sehr angenehm. In der großen Küche kann man sich selbst Essen zubereiten, es gibt auch diverse Grills am Gelände auf denen man ebenso Essen zubereiten kann. Im Rezeptionsbereich gibt es jede Menge gemütliche Couchen sowie Hängematten die zum Verweilen einladen. Vor Ort kann man sich Softdrinks, Bier und Pizza zu günstigen Preisen kaufen. Im Kibbutz gibt es noch einen kleinen Supermarkt, der die wichtigsten Dinge verkauft. Das Tote Meer (En Bokek) ist in etwa eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt. An dem öffentlichen Strand kann man super baden und das Tote Meer genießen. Dadurch, dass es Gemeinschaftsduschen und -klos gibt, darf man sich natürlich nicht immer absolute Sauberkeit erwarten, wir haben uns aber stets wohl gefühlt.

המוזיקה כשהגענו שידרה את מה שדמיינו, הגענו למקום המושלם. אוירה מדהימה, אין לחץ ובעיקר המקום והאנשים משדרים באתה לנוח...אז קח את הזמן.

Great big thank you, I was there with my family and we had a good time interacting with the other guests in the common kitchen sharing cooking ideas and tastes, then by the fire into the night jamming on guitars with Gil the owner. The room setup was nice and comfortable. Great overall. Very welcoming place and people

Lovely place with caring staff
Gill and the others were very nice and helpful, always willing to give us a ride or to help us with information or whatever was required. It's for people who like it simple but with warmth. Gill arranged everything with so much care for the detail. So this place has his soul which makes it so beautiful. Every day some people came or left which was nice so you always got to know new people. You can cook in the kitchen, every one gets a place in the fridge. Every evening there was a campfire and often someone played guitar and we sang together. For winter I would recommend a sleeping bag because it can be quite cold. I didn't have one but I got enough blankets so it was okay. I had a great time there!

Great unique fun place to stay near the Dead Sea
We had a brilliant two days at Shkedi's Camp Lodge. Not only were we upgraded to stay in a converted bus but I was even given a birthday cake with a sparkler in it for my 30th! Great service, fun and unique place to stay, just a 15 minute drive from the Dead Sea. We loved the open fire and community spirit. If you're looking for somewhere different to stay that isn't a tourist trap hotel then stay at Shkedi's Camp Lodge!

Extremly nice hostel/lodge
The Guys were so nice in providing all we needed to know. A great atmosphere, little like a surf camp with out the sea. Music on the site playing all day. Right in a kibbutz small village, all comfort is at the site. Very clean. Would recommend this to everybody, who want to avoid the Eilat style expensive spa's on the dead sea.
