This distinctive custom home will surely make a lasting impression and have you wanting to come back year after year. Upon entry guests are met with a beautiful double spiral staircase and a massive stone fireplace at the center of the home extending from the lower level up into the main level capped by soaring lofted ceilings. The double fireplace boasts fine stone masonry and Honduran Pine mantels. Attention to detail and luxury are found throughout this fine home. The backyard is no exception to thoughtful design with a park-like setting including a large covered deck and a patio featuring distinctive stone paver work surrounding a substantial gas firepit and a private hot tub (fire pit is available only in the summer). Your and yours are sure to enjoy this unique home and you will have no shortage of options to warm up during the cold winter months or cool summer evenings with the double wood burning fireplaces, the gas fireplace in the master, the heated travertine floors, the outdoor firepit and the hot tub! Inside and out this property is a true gem.

This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home provides plenty of space for relaxing, visiting and resting. The main level, designed for entertaining, has the kitchen, dining, and living room flowing seamlessly together with the stunning custom fireplace at the center and large windows framing in the entire space. The lower level includes a family room, a kitchenette, two bedrooms plus a cozy den with a bunkbed and a sofa with sleeper with doors that close. There is plenty of seating around the dual sided fireplace in both the lower and upper levels. With numerous large windows, the main level of the home is filled with natural light and beautiful views. The main level features two master suites, including one with a gas fireplace and roomy bathroom and walk in closet. The fully decked-out chef's kitchen is on the main level and is outfitted with high end appliances and everything you will need to prepare meals, snacks and tasty beverages for your group. People will enjoy congregating with food and drink in this large open concept floor plan that provides plenty of seating options including a bar height counter.

This 1 acre lot borders the wooded 150 acre Foothills Park where a creek winds through the Pine trees and miles of trails are waiting to be explored. Whether summer or winter you will have your choice of a wide variety of outdoor activities right out your door including lift-access skiing and riding and manicured downhill mountain bike trails You can also go powerboating, paddling and fishing on Lake Cascade. Don't forget to do some zip lining and to try one of numerous beautiful hiking trails. Take the mixed use path from the house to the Poma that takes you to the main chair lift.

As a guest of Tamarack Resort, you also gain access to the outdoor summer swimming pool and year-round hot tub and fitness room located at the Osprey Lodge. While at the lodge, treat yourself to a signature massage at the spa after a beverage from the Fern & Feather bar overlooking the valley. Be sure to visit the new Village complete with The Reserve fine dining, Clearwater Coffee Company, and the Village Market where you will find a variety of groceries, sundries, beer and wine and a selection of sandwiches and salads.

The large driveway and oversized two car attached garage provide plenty of space to park vehicles and store equipment and toys.

This is a pet-friendly property pending pre-approval from DoneRight Management only. The pet fee is $25 per pet per night of the reservation. For pet approval and detailed guidelines, please contact DoneRight Management.

You will have access to the resort outdoor swimming pool (summer only), hot tub, and a fitness center located at Osprey Lodge. You may pick up their key for these amenities at Tamarack Security on White Water Drive.

There is a beautiful back patio with a gas fire pit that is available only in the summer.

We want you to have fun and enjoy your time here. This is easier if you know the rules ahead of time. Riding ATVs on Tamarack Resort is not allowed by guests. If you are bringing "toys" (ATVs, scooters, boats, etc.) you will need to leave them in the Aspen Parking lot at the entrance to the resort and ride them off the resort from there. There are registration forms on the sign at the entrance to Aspen. Please make sure you look at the sign to determine where you should park. The parking lot is monitored by Security both by staffed vehicles and by cameras.

This home has a two night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a 3 or 4 night stay.

Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space.

All of our properties have self-check in via keyless entry or lockbox. Guest access codes and check in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival.

NO parties are allowed at this property.

Check in is anytime after 4PM. Check out is at 10AM.

The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period.

This property is subject to all Donnelly and Tamarack Resort ordinances, including those specific to noise levels, occupancy, and safety.

To start your vacation off right, we've provided a day's worth of supplies, including your morning coffee, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags. Also provided where required is propane for gas grills and enough wood for indoor fireplace use during your stay. For properties with a fire pit, guests will need to purchase wood, available at several local stores.

Each rental property also includes a guest book with information and tips unique to the home, along with recommendations, local activities and events, local emergency contact information, including how to contact us – we're always just a phone call away.

Frozen water pipes.
We were informed as we were traveling the 4 hour drive that there was a problem with a frozen water pipe. The 12 of us were traveling in 3 different cars, arriving at separate times. When we arrived, the hot water had been left running in three sinks. Therefore we had no hot water. We had to endure our stay with a space heater in the way in front of the downstairs kitchen sink. The TV in the living room would not connect to anything, so we had no TV. The fireplace in the big master bedroom would not turn on. When the maintenance man showed up to fix the water pipe issue, he said there was already a trouble ticket on the fireplace in master.We also had some rooms that were too hot, and some that were too cold. We managed through all of this, and still maintained a good attitude. We are not sure why this property was not totally ready for guests. We asked the maintenance man if he was going to put heat tape on the pipes, and he said no, the pipes are plastic. When this house was built, the builder obviously did not consider the climate. One of our checkout orders was this, "turn the heat down to 50 degrees." We did as instructed, but the next guest may show up to frozen pipes too. We grew up in very cold, snowy towns ourselves. We think this property needs new water pipes that can be kept above freezing (no plastic) or the heat should be at 55 or above. The owner may save $ on the heat bill, but the guests will not be totally satisfied. Thank you for asking.

Wedding week stay
the property is well designed for a large group of family members for vacations or wedding parties. The backyard has great space for large groups, nice firepit, etc. The location has a few issues which the property management/owners should be able to fix. The lights around the firepit are said to be decorative but dont work, The front entry has tile damage that needs to be corrected ASAP. They have a red cone noting damage but its an easy fix that we were wondering why it wasn't fixed. The barbecue is nicely connected to the gas system of the house. However no one seems to clean the barbecue so we had to do it to make sure that we did not have any large fires when cooking ribs or other greasy items. Note there is no AC so we managed the windows to keep the house cool. The yard is overgrown and needs more upkeep. One spot on the path has a small bush or tree that is partially blocking the pathway. the pathways also need stairs added at their ends rather than requiring renters to climb down over the rocks. Overall, the owners and or property management company are not keeping the house maintained very well and seem to be waiting for the renters to provide feedback.

Great Property and Well Stocked!
Really no complaints. Great property. Lots of space for guests to sleep. Kitchen had tons of amenities which is great. A little bit of a hike to ski in ski out, but doable to get to the Poma. We would recommend bringing extra firewood. Or picking it up on the way in at the gas station. All in all a wonderful stay.
