You’re sure to find peace and quiet when you visit this special secluded property which hides itself in the beautiful hills of Monroe County, KY.

The cabin at Whippoorwill Hollow presents itself with a bohemian vibe to capture the tradition of the Turkey Neck Bend area.
Here, there’s a long history of serving as a place of getaway for those looking to unplug from society and reset. We appreciate and respect what the area has to offer and hope to share this experience with our guests who visit Whippoorwill Hollow.

The property is 10 miles south of the Cumberland River ferry crossing and 10 miles north of Dale Hollow Lake - Celina TN.
Nestled in the hills of the Kettle Creek area, the location makes an excellent choice for those visiting the area to fish or just simply relax.

As you travel to the cabin, you’re sure to enjoy the abundance of wildlife and beauty of nature that surround the area. It’s a special drive in itself.

The cabin has (3) bedrooms, (2) full baths.
- Bedroom 1: King Bed (main level)
- Bedroom 2: Queen Bed (second level)
- Bedroom 3: Queen Bed (second level)

Bath #1 - tub (main floor)
Bath # 2 - Walk-in shower (second level)

The large bay windows in the living room/dining room allow a beautiful view while you either play a game of checkers or shoot a game of pool.

The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware and is ready for you to prepare a favorite meal. There’s a charcoal grill on site for those who prefer to grill.

An outside fire pit is a perfect place to gaze at the stars, roast marshmallows & make memories with family and friends!

We do recommend you drive a 4x4 pickup truck or SUV when you visit. Looking for a lake adventure? Check out our Old Bass Cottage in Celina, TN. at Dale Hollow Lake (VRBO 1734543). How about an escape to the Cumberland River? Enjoy the River Breeze (VRBO 2054691).

Whippoorwill Getaway
This was a great place to get away from the hustle of life! There is a Dollar General about 15 minutes away but the nearest Walmart is over 30 minutes. We got to experience the free ferry but they are putting in a bridge very shortly. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a peacock that my son named Kevin! Kevin seemed to enjoy the sounds of my son’s guitar, watching us play pool and just keeping an eye on us. Unfortunately, he took off the second day and we missed him the rest of our stay. The cabin has WiFi but we didn’t have cell service. It was clean and well kept. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Mammoth Cave is about 1 1/2 hours away. Dale Hollow Lake is about 35 minutes away. Lots of wildlife to be seen! Deer, rabbits, peacock, turkeys, mink, turtles, frogs, and I’m sure more! If you want a peaceful place to get away, this fits the bill!

Great views, very private, well furnished. The only thing keeping us from making this a yearly stay is the dolls hanging from ceiling and creepy picture upstairs!

Amazing property
This is an AMAZING property!! The hosts are very friendly and responsive. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away, unplug, and just enjoy nature with the amazing views.

Gorgeous Location
This home was way more than expected. The home has a really comfortable and cozy feel. The views were beautiful and the deer made a daily appearance. My grandsons attempted to slide down the hills and had so much fun exploring. The area is very peaceful and I would definitely come back again. The owners we very quick to respond with any issues and I can tell they took great care in the decor and all around esthetic of the cabin. I will say that an SUV or truck would probably be a good bet for getting to the home. The driveway is steep but not bad. I drove a Kia Telluride and had no issue. I cant say enough about about this house.

Spectacular views
From the moment we pulled up til the moment we pulled out/ we throughly enjoyed our wonderful stay here. Very secluded and quiet. Beautiful home and property. Owners were available 24/7. No issues at all. Wanted to stay longer. If you’re looking for a great family gathering spot- this is it. You are 12 miles into Celina. You have standing stone park and dale hollow lake. Lots of waterfalls close by. This is a wonderful place to unplug and connect with family.
