friend trip
The big stocked kitchen, clean house, and fast communication with the property manager were great. All upstairs bedrooms have king beds with bathrooms attached: super convenient for big groups. I would book this house again.

Terrific house
This was our second time in this house and we really love it. The foot king en suite bedrooms are perfect for a big group. Great location close to the village. The owner Janae is responsive and clearly cares that you have a good stay.

Tahoe Girls Trip
We booked the cabin for a girls getaway weekend. There were 12 girls staying at the cabin and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and beautiful and perfectly set up for large groups. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensils or cookware you might need. The cabin is in such a great location in the Northstar Village neighborhood. There’s a shuttle stop right down the road that takes you straight to Northstar Village. We were all so happy with our stay and how nice the cabin was. We will definitely be coming back!

Five stars all around
We've been renting homes in Tahoe for many years, and this is undoubtedly one of the best. It's a recent construction, exceptionally clean, and the location is close to the shuttle and the village. The four en-suite bedrooms are very comfortable, and the additional bunk room makes it perfect.

Highly recommend!
I can’t say enough great things about this property. It’s got every amenity you could think of for a wonderful stay. We always stay in the Northstar during our annual Tahoe visit. We needed a place that would accommodate a large group, and this place did not disappoint. It looked newly renovated, so everything is in great condition. Also, it was very clean. Every towel was folded, all the linens were crisp and clean, and every bathroom was spotless. Truly the owners take great pride in having a beautiful rental. I appreciate them sharing it with the public. I reached out to the owners a few days before our stay, and they were very responsive. All in all, this was a memorable trip to Tahoe. Due in great deal to this home, and the experience our whole group had here. Recommend 100%!

Wonderful Northstar family vacation
Excellent condo for our snowboarding trip to Northstar. 4 bedrooms on upper level with super comfy beds, clean, full bath in each. Lower level with 2 bunk beds and living room was perfect for kids. Note - no rails on the upper bunks. Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances. Large open concept layout with a fireplace that felt amazing after a day on the slopes. Plenty of room in the garage to keep our gear. Also, shuttle stop is less than a 2 min walk from the condo. Overall, perfect home for a Northstar vacation!

Wonderful house for ski trip
We really liked this house. Great layout, nicely appointed and stocked (with pots, pans, plates, hair dryers, etc), fantastic location. The four large bedrooms are all great. Perfect kitchen/great room with huge TV and fireplace. Large garage, which really helps in winter. Owners were responsive and helpful.

Fantastic
This is one of the best homes I have stayed in so far. I love to cook and the kitchen was very well supply and had two sinks! The bedroom situation was great with private bathrooms. The lower level had bunk beds, which were great for my grandkids and a separate area where they could play also just a short distance to Northstar. The host was very receptive as I had a few questions and he was very kind. If we ever go back this would be my first choice as places to stay. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Thanksgiving with family
We had a wonderful week in Northstar at this darling and cozy gem of a house! The front room/kitchen area is fantastic. Plenty of room for everyone to watch ball games, do puzzles etc. The bedrooms were nice and quiet. We had fun venturing down into the village to ice skate, eat pizza and sip hot cocoa. the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake for all 14 of us. We loved that the kitchen has two sinks and plenty of garbage cans! Perfect when you have a several cooks in the kitchen preparing big meals. This is a fantastic property. You will love staying here and won’t be disappointed!!

We were five couples going to a golf tournament. The house was a perfect set-up for us with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. The house was very clean and had high end amenities. The locations was perfect, in the middle of the Northstar property. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect home for family vacation
Our family and friends just wrapped up a perfect week at Northstar and have this home (and its owners) to thank for it! The layout was everything we could ask for. The main floor had two, large tables (kids and adults), an awesome kitchen with all the tools we needed and a wide open space to spread out and play board games and relax. The porch time in the evening was fantastic because there were enough chairs and room for all of us. The kids loved to have their own downstairs bunk space (even if they battled for top bunk). And the adults all raved about having their own upstairs room with adjoining bathrooms! That made the trip for some folks because shower time was so much easier after a beach day when each family could handle what they needed without a long line. And here’s the surprise and cherry on top! This house added brand new AC! For experienced Truckee summer travelers. you know how rare a find this is! It ran perfectly, made us less worried about potential smoke in the air and kept everything cool all night. Everyone is eager to rent again and head back for another trip. The Northstar resort was so close and the kids wanted to go back to the skating rink every night. The owners were responsive to our questions and made the stay so easy. I imagine this review will make it harder for us to book this place in the future but this home deserves it. 5 stars, A+. Thank you so much for letting us stay here! We’ll be back!

Great Family Vacation House Near Northstar
The house has been completed remodeled recently and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is huge and is well equipped with pots, pans, utensils and dishware. With a huge island, two sinks and four and two pull-out garbage cans (two in each - one for recycle and one for garbage) the kitchen is the center of activity. The great room has an amazing 85" TV and lots of seating and tables for dining. The large deck with BBQ and lots of seating was a big hit! Amazingly, the house has four Master Bedroom Suites all with their own bathrooms and TVs. This was a huge selling point for our family. The downstairs area is really nice with two separate bunk bed areas, a make down couch and an additional play area ideal for kids (with its own TV). And, another full bathroom plus washer and dryer. The house is in a great location only a few blocks from Northstar. This home fits all of our needs and everyone in the family wants to rent it again for next year's family vacation.

Great house for families!
This house was great for our extended family. Plenty of bedrooms with king beds for adults with en suite bathrooms. The little kids loved the downstairs bunk rooms with their own TV. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the outdoor space was nice with plenty of chairs for everyone. And, communication with the owners was great. We all loved our stay!

Simply wonderful!
The Gold Bend house in Northstar was simply perfect for our family reunion! The upstairs housed the seven adults in four generously sized rooms with attached full baths, and the downstairs mini bunk rooms were just right for the four grandchildren. Their bath and the laundry room were adjacent (the laundry set was a dream!) Along with the mini-bunk rooms, there was an adjoining "play room" where the kids could have their own space, while the adults were within earshot but enjoying the huge great room, complete with a huge television. The kitchen was supplied with just about everything you could ever want in the way of pots, equipment and utensils, and there were enough plates, glasses and silverware for everyone...which isn't always the case. Porches off both sides of the great room offered relaxing spaces and a barbeque, and with the sliding glass doors open there was great air flow. It was a brisk 10 minute walk to go to the main resort and the recreation center, though little was open early in the week in summer. We did enjoy a new-release movie at the small theater, which was a delightful surprise. There's a Safeway at Kings Beach, places to eat, and the kids of course really enjoyed the beach...they even took a turn in a paddleboat. They also rented bikes, took a raft trip down the Truckee River and considered trying horseback riding...there's no lack of opportunities for family fun. We had rented a house in South Lake Tahoe three years ago, and found the area overcrowded and the traffic nearly impossible. We definitely would recommend North Tahoe, and this Northstar home in particular...it was a truly relaxing setting and something we'd love to do again! Fantastic Property Close to Northstar Village
We just got back from a fantastic stay at this gorgeous property! The layout is great, with a huge main floor living area, and a separate area downstairs for the kids. We loved how each bedroom had it's own full bathroom, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. We also loved how the (3 minute) shuttle to the village leaves 2 doors down and comes on demand. That made it so easy to get to and from the village with all of our ski gear. Shuttle drivers were extremely friendly too. I can't recommend this property enough!

Great for Families and Friends
This place is at the Northstar village and is in a very convenient location to the resort. We came here with children and other families. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved that each room had its own bathroom and the bottom room had more than enough space for the kids to use. The rooms were equipped with a flat screen tv each and the beds were all adjustable. The kitchen was big and very organized. There were two dining areas which worked greatly. The kids and adults basically had their own separate tables for meals. We highly recommend this place and would come back again.

Spring break @ Northstar
This cabin located near Northstar Village was perfect for our group of 10 - 5 adults and 5 teens. The layout comfortably accommodated 3 unrelated families that had never stayed together. Four of five bedrooms come with their own bathroom ensuite. The fifth has the bathroom attached by a hall. The kitchen and the family room are spacious and ideal for 10-15 people. The home is equipped with good technology for entertainment and a ton of cooking utensils, kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, etc. The furniture throughout was very comfortable. We loved our mornings and evenings hanging out around the house, especially near the fire place. The garage was spacious and allowed for plenty of room to store our ski equipment and cars. The location was very convenient to Northstar Village. We had access to a shuttle, but opted to have someone drop and pick us up at the village each day to ski. Truckee is a great town to explore, shop and dine. We dined at Moody's, Stella and Bourbon Pub. We also picked up Rubicon. Each place had great food. A couple of tips - snagging an Uber or Lyft is not easy after 9, the restaurants at Northstar Village close early, and there is no food delivery service available. Be prepared and take advantage of the great kitchen. The entire group enjoyed this trip and cabin. We all are contemplating a return visit at some point. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful home near Northstar
This is a wonderful home with the perfect location for your Northstar getaway. The location is excellent, as it is the first shuttle stop on the Northstar shuttle. It is 4 houses from the shuttle stop. The weather was nice, so we even just walked to Northstar Village. The layout of this home is incredibly well thought out. The main floor is an open floor plan with a HUGE flat screen TV. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with cookware, bakeware, and appliances. There are two dining room tables which eat seat 6 people, so perfect for an adults table and kids table. The upper floor has 4 relatively equal bedrooms, each with its own bathroom which was perfect for our 3 families. The lower level has a TV, sofabed, and two small rooms, each with a twin/twin bunk bed. This is the perfect place for the kids to hang out. The owner is very responsive to any concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home in an amazing location!
We had a wonderful time at Len and Janae’s house. The home is comfortable and well setup for families. We appreciated that the four bedrooms upstairs were en-suite and loved that there were bunk beds downstairs with a common room for our kids to play. The kitchen was especially well equipped too which made cooking meals together fun. The location can’t be beat with Northstar being a short 2 minute drive down through way. We also took the shuttle which was really convenient. We had a great time and hope to be back in this lovely home!

Greatest Vrbo Ever
I was so impressed with this property. We had fourteen people stay there ranging from ages 74 to four months old. It never felt crowded. It is the first shuttle stop from the Village--so very close. We skied for three days, and on the last day, it snowed! There was every pot, pan, muffin tin you could want. The kitchen knives were actually sharp. Communication was so easy. I would absolutely stay here again.

The home is located within one mile of Northstar ski resort with a shuttle stop 1/2 block away. The home is beautifully decorated, bright with ample windows, well equipped with two refrigerators, wide-screen, desk-top PC, laundry, five full bath-rooms, etc.

Family Weekend
This house was meant for multiple families! Great layout, location. The house has high end finishes and super comfy beds. There was a hiccup with the cleaning service upon our arrival, but the owner was very responsive. Overall it was a great stay and we would love to come back again.

Cozy Cabin
My family and I recently stayed at this cabin and it was great! The actual layout of the cabin was perfect. All the 4 bedrooms upstairs were exactly the same size and each was an en-suite. There was a bedroom downstairs that was perfect for the teenagers. House was fully stocked with cooking supplies too which was helpful. Great location to Northstar and the shuttle service was key. The manager of the property was in communication the entire time making sure we had everything we needed. I would stay again at this cabin, and we had a good size group of guests.

Great place to stay
This is a great property that has four bedrooms en suite plus two rooms with bunk beds. This was great for kids as they had their own area to play and sleep. I marked cleanliness as 3 because the cleaner arrived after we checked in. The previous renters also left 15 bags of trash which was too much for the cleaners to take. Needless to say the garage smelled like trash after a day or so. Hopefully for the owner this was a weird one off experience. Had this not happened I would have rated all 5’s. I guess we can chock it up to Covid and limited resources.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The house is in a perfect location in Northstar. It is very clean, with tons of space, amenities and everything you could want for a getaway in the mountains. Our family can't wait to visit again.

Excellent place
The listing of the property is accurate, the house was clean, the reviews were on spot. We had four generations in the home for a Thanksgiving get a way. The suites were perfect for a private escape if needed and the great room was FANTASTIC for gathering. I always try to add a few things that were not in the reviews or listing. There were items available for the grandkids which was so nice (Pack n play, high chair, baby gates). Magnifying mirror for the elderly generations in the bathrooms. Extra plush blankets for everyone. A cabinet full of games on the lower level. The bunk rooms are split which allowed for more privacy and smaller group of kids. We found the location to be excellent and could walk to the village or rec center easily. Owners were very responsive. Overall this was an excellent home to rent and would highly recommend!

Fantastic trip to Truckee
My friends and I (7 of us total) enjoyed our trip to Truckee and the home Janae allowed us to rent was incredible! Exactly like the pictures and very clean. Will absolutely stay again next time we trek up to Tahoe area.

Great Northstar Home Near Northstar Village
This property was more than we expected from the internet description. The process of renting the property was super easy and the owners always got back to me if I had questions. The home was large and had a great open floorplan. We loved the 85" screen TV on the fireplace to watch the Olympics. The kitchen was amazing and had two sinks, two garbage/recycle cans and was well stocked with plenty of dishware, flatware, pots and pans and cooking utensils (this is unusual for a rental). The home looked like it was new and had beautiful decorations and personal touches throughout the home. There was plenty of seating areas including two dining areas, two decks with chairs and seating areas in front of the TV/fireplace. We were a party of 7 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. One of the reasons we chose this rental was because it had four Master Bedroom Suites with their own Bathrooms. Everything looked new and was beautifully decorated. The adjustable backs on the beds and the mattresses were very comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, TP, Kleenex box, etc. They also provided extra towels and blankets which is so unusual in a rental. The downstairs area had two separate bunkbed areas, a nice size room with a TV, table and chairs, seating, a make down coach and it's own well-appointed bathroom (as well as a full size washer and dryer). The kids loved it down there. The home is located just around the corner from the Northstar Village. They had some games for the kids to play, a little put put game and mountain biking is really big there. Due to COVID restrictions, some of the restaurants and shops were closed until next year 2022. Normally, they would have concerts on the weekend (according to the sign). It's a really beautiful place to go. There is a shuttle bus that is available for all of the residents in the Northstar complex which is really handy. All in all, we just loved this property and plan on going back again next year for our annual family vacation. The owner mentioned to me that they intend on installing AC this winter. This would be a plus as, unfortunately, we experienced some severe smoke from the Northern CA wildfires for two of the days that we were there. It is also hotter than it used to be. The other days that we were there were beautiful and clear and it cooled down at night.

House built for families
Recently we stayed at this property. We had 4 families which included 6 kids. This house had the perfect layout and accommodations. There were 4 identical master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and showers. All had king beds that adjusted and TVs. The kids room had sleeping arrangements for all 6 kids. The main space was big and open with 2 sinks, 2 tables, and lots of seating. If you open both sliders there’s a wonderful cross breeze that cools off the house nicely. We all loved this house! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
