Remote location with Lake Access
Cute place that is off the beaten path a bit. Kitchen well stocked and layout was good for a crowd. A few small issues: lake passes weren’t set up properly so hit a snag when trying to use the lake on first day, front landscaping needs some TLC, flannel sheets on the beds in summer, but the big worry was the railing to the bedrooms in the main house. Barely secure and more dangerous than if it wasn’t there at all. With a few small changes, this could be a 5 star place. We love Twain Harte!

2nd year at Cabin
This is our 2nd year staying at this beautiful home. It is spotless and the rooms are spacious with AC, comfy beds and ceiling fans. The kitchen is very large and complete. It has everything you need for an awesome vacation. Thank you Andrea!

Great house ! Great location
My family stayed here for my daughters wedding weekend. Right across the street from pier village . And the house was perfect for hanging out enjoying the family together . Wonder open concept downstairs and there full beautiful baths. All newly renovated . We truly enjoyed our stay and the owner Mitch was great to deal with and accommodating

Found this listing on VRBO this was mainly driven by dog friendly rental my No size limit and I had a golden retriever with me so this why I decided to rent this cabin, I emailed the owner Andrea and she was awesome very responsive and accommodating we had an issue with the down stairs unit heater I couldn’t get the pilot going and she was ready to call someone to come out and fix it which we decided the electric heaters were good enough to keep warm just fyi the down stairs unit is not connected to upstairs but during the winter days it can get really cold. Overall everything was very accommodating for my family this house is supply with everything you need from kitchen utensils to firewood it was stock with everything you need very warm a cozy. I would definitely reach out to the owner if you are looking for a spot for you and your family to rent and go play in the snow just 45 mins away. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Look no further this is the spot.

Piece of heaven
This was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. My husband, mother, and father-in-law, and two teenagers stayed in this rental. The downstairs unit was perfect for my husband and 15-year-old son. I ended up staying upstairs because the bed downstairs was just a little too small for the both of us. Kitchen has everything you need. We drove up to the snow on one of the days and played games inside the rest of the time. When we first arrived, it was pouring rain. We had the wrong key code, but I texted Andrea and she replied with the correct one. We were soon unloading, and in a warm home. There were a few things on the inside that still needed to be taken care of, which we communicated with Andrea. She was very responsive, which I appreciate. All in all we would definitely stay at this home again.

Great space
We enjoyed our stay here. Lots of space and short drive to the lake. We rented both units, thinking the teenager would likely need to get away from us, but stayed here during a heat wave and couldn’t function without the AC on the upper level, so all of us crammed up there and it still worked out. Short 5-min drive to the lake. Communicative property manager, though she’d given us the wrong door code at first so there was a bit of a delay in sorting that out. Regardless, we enjoyed this place and would stay here again.

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation
Our family has been coming to Twain Harte for 40 years and the Carter vacation rental tops the list for best stays. The home is on a beautiful and quiet street with a wonderful large deck where we spent most of our time. In the evening. The home was spotless and the rooms are spacious with comfy beds and ceiling fans. The kitchen is modern and has absolutely everything you need to prepare and your own meals. We spent our days at the Lake and enjoyed playing the games provided in the evening such as corn hole and Jenga. Thank you so much Andrea!
