“Arrived at the property and there was a system outage. Multiple guests had to wait to be checked in. Khalifah, the desk agent, handled the situation like a pro. He remained calm, explained the situation to every guest that arrived, and offered everyone a beverage and snacks. Even when some guests who were already in the hotel were being rude, he stayed professional. He even went door to door to try to determine which rooms could be used. Blessings to this young man. True customer service...

“This was such a cute place to stay! Even though there’s no front desk, two staff members were there to greet and assist us when we arrived. The air conditioning in our original room wasn’t working, and while it took a few steps and about a 15-minute call to get it sorted, they were able to move us to a new room. “ Came to stay here due to location near Shadyside hopsital, where I had surgery the next day. What a beautiful property. Friendly staff, especially our bartender. She was young, but easy to talk to and had knowledge beyond her years. We didnt eat here, so can not attest to that. Beds were confortable. Rooms very large and the interior was like a european hotel. Dark woods with Great history. ”

“Very clean and it appears there are activities in the evening but we were off with local family members. My husband loved the breakfast and I loved the coffee (I’m not a breakfast person). We had a little kitchen nook which we did not use but would have loved it at other places we’ve stayed (again local family in vicinity). I also loved that we did not want or require e.g., tiny shampoos and daily cleaning when we only slept and showered.I am going to reiterate, it was very clean. ”

“Average hotel for the price, however confortable, good bed. The hotel is along a road and there is no side walk, even to get to next restaurant half mile away you need to drive. The kitchen was without any equipment, not even a fork let alone pans however I could get a couple of things from the desk (very polite people)”
