Amazing property just outside of West Yellowstone
Had a great stay at this property. There was ample space and rooms. The beds were all really comfortable, which was clutch after all the driving and hiking around the national park. The dry sauna was an extra level of comfort for us at the end of the day. Would definitely stay there again when we get back to Yellowstone.

Great place to stay for a large family group
We had a very enjoyable stay at this property, which was conveniently located very near YNP, West Yellowstone, the Snake River area, and groceries. Our group of 12, a mix of adults and kids, spread out comfortably--there are plenty of comfy beds. The back bedroom is very quiet, allowing little ones to go to bed early in a peaceful space (we brought our own pack and play). We were just fine with the location. The highway was close, but not noisy, and the kids had fun playing in the yard far away from the traffic. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever want, including very nice pots and pans, a great cooktop, a beautiful retro oven, dishwasher, 3 crock pots, and 3 Foreman grills ;-) The washer and TWO dryers were "clutch." The garage was convenient to keep our bikes on days we did not take them with us. Note that riding near the house is for gravel bikes, not road bikes, but the Park is a great place to ride road tires. Bring bear spray always. We would happily stay here again!

Had a worst experience ever. First and foremost, the owner of the property seemed to have a disturbing obsession with monitoring our every move. It felt as though we were constantly being watched, with the owner keeping a close eye on our comings and goings. This invasive behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. To make matters worse, our initial booking was made two years in advance for the year 2022. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to reschedule our trip to 2023 as a result of a flood situation in Yellowstone. During this rescheduling period, one of our friends who was accompanying us had a newborn baby. As he watched, he charged for the infant as extra person, we paid for it. As if that wasn't enough, upon our arrival, the owner claimed that we had caused $400 worth of damage to the property. This accusation was completely baseless and we vehemently deny any responsibility for such damages. We took great care to follow all the instructions provided, including disposing of trash, cleaning the dishes, and placing all towels and laundry sheets in the designated laundry room. It was appalling to be falsely accused of burning the stove and using nine beds when we were only a group of seven people. Is it common practice for an owner to charge guests for utilizing all the beds in a rental property, regardless of the number of occupants? This requirement was nowhere mentioned in the rental agreement.

Great home base spot to explore Yellowstone
We stayed at the cabin with our 7 kids. We live nearby in eastern Idaho but wanted to have a place to stay closer to the park so we could easily see more of Yellowstone over our 4 day trip.The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Only 5 minutes from the heart of West Yellowstone and the West entrance to Yellowstone NP. We explored the park all day and came back and relaxed. Several restaurants provided easy meals out and the kitchen was well stocked for nights we cooked in. We enjoyed movies together at the end of the day. Check in and check out was seamless. We will definitely be coming back here next time we come to Yellowstone for a multi day visit!

Worst Experience - Stay away
Very unprofessional/weird allegations from owner on second day evening after his informant saw our other family friends with us having dinner at the property. They were staying in nearby vrbo property and we were simply having a dinner with them. The same night, I received vrbo notification from the owner and we were slapped with additional $750 fine request alleging that I have lied and have more people staying in the property. The payment was due on next day along with a threat that he will call the local sheriff and have us evicted. This wrongful allegation was based on information provided by his informants/neighbors. After talking to the owner on 3rd day morning and confronting with the truth/facts, he retracted the payment and the allegation. After this type of unprofessional behavior, the damage was already done. We completely felt weird during the stay and being on a watch by whoever( or whatever) was there to watch our comings and goings. Don't be fooled by the property location !!! inside the house is average but outside is shady neighborhood. One of the bedrooms has completely sheer curtains and the bedroom can be watched from the neighboring house. Never ever felt so awkward after we were told that the neighbors are watching us and informing the owner. It completely ruined the Yellowstone fun for us and left an everlasting weird feeling/memories for us. If you can, please stay away from this property and take your money somewhere in a better neighborhood even though the location is few miles away from the park.

You get why you pay for. Nice, large interesting log cabin that can hold quite a few guests with three bathrooms and two showers. Worth it's cost and great location - minutes from Yellowstone entrance.

Historical Family Outing

Great location
We really liked this cabin, it worked perfect for what we needed and it was big enough the grandkids had lots of room to play after a long car ride getting there. It was close to town but not too close, it was very well stocked with what we needed. The only thing we were disappointed in was we couldn't have a campfire, the grandkids were really looking forward to sitting by the fire and making smores. But overall a very pleasant stay.

Great House
This house was perfect for our family vacation!! Away from the main city but close enough to go into town to shop. Perfect for our days spent at Yellowstone. So close to the west entrance. The house had everything you needed. Space and plenty of comfy beds. They had everything you would need to stay in the house: soap, towels, and laundry baskets. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Yellowstone.

Host was very responsive to our needs. The coffee pot broke and he had a new one to us within hours. Thanks Mike! We were disappointed that both the inside fireplace and outside fire pit were not usable. It was cool and rainy when we were there and it would have been nice to have a fire. Not sure why they were both closed.

Clean and Spacious
We got just what we needed here, which was 3 BR and 2 BA. Fully furnished with lots of space. I would call it "rustic style". Some of it from the 70's(!), but functional. And really clean, not even dust anywhere. Good wifi and streaming BW. Lots of games and DVD/VHS to watch. Everything you need for a large group, including a large capacity clothes washer and TWO dryers. A few negatives of small importance. I plan to convey them to the owner so he can correct them.

Spacious and in close proximity to the park. Didn't receive check-in instructions, luckily the owner answered his phone and gave us the key code verbally, the day we checked in. We removed all the used linens to the laundry room and helped the cleaning team by washing some towels the night before departure (it's what we do when we're in Hawaii VRBOs, as a way to be nice and help). Only to be charged extra $100 by the cleaning lady and owner. That'd make anyone staying there question whether the sheets or anything else is actually cleaned properly. Tried contacting the owner via phone and email and through VRBO, no answer. We would love to recommend this place but the service and the cleanliness is not worth another try.

Lots of space, good wifi & well equipped kitchen
We had 2 families staying here and everyone enjoyed the wifi after not having it before this location. Everyone could spread out in the roomy living room and there were so many movies to pick from. Kids loved the bunk beds and queen was comfy too. The ķitchen had lots of supplies there and a great fridge. And oh, the laundry was awesome, we had 4 days before this in the park and another 4back on the park afterwards so it was perfect! Plus we had some cold rainy days and the fireplace was really nice to have, wood in the garage already cut. Thanks Mike!

Perfect home base for Yellowstone trip
The house was perfect for our trip. We had more than enough space for the two couples in our party. The kitchen is large and has everything needed, the appliances were all very clean and modern. The bedrooms were large and the mattresses were all new and very comfortable. It is close to town but just far enough away that you don’t hear any noise. It’s a quick drive to the West Entrance of Yellowstone.

BATS in the house!!! Smelly house!
It was stressful. We spent each night lkilling and disposing of the creatures and trying to calm frightened children and worried parents. I also arrived to the overpowering smell of multiple air fragrance units in wall outlets. Immediately had to open all windows and remove the fragrance plugs from the house. It makes one wonder what odor In the house is being covered up. Dirty front entrance, patio, and patio chairs. Not ready to receive guests. Bathrooms were clean. In response to my inquiry about perhaps being compensated for all the bat issues, the owner said it was just Mother Nature doing her thing. Perhaps, but no, sir, YOU have a bat problem and no guest should have to deal with this!

East Coast/West Coast Family get together
Our stay in West Yellowstone, MT on Mooseberry Ln was outstanding. The house is nicely located right off of 20 and just far enough outside of town to make it convenient. It's very roomy inside and none of us ever felt crowded. There are plenty of supplies for meals and cooking. I would highly recommend this property for any larger family gathering.

So close to Yellowstone!
This is the perfect property for those who want to be close to the entrance of the park. Only about 5 miles into West Yellowstone and another mile to the gate. The cabin was fantastic! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen from crockpots to re-useable containers for leftovers and even sandwich size re-useable containers to use on picnics in the park to keep from having squished sandwiches! (Just be sure to return them!) I loved the fact that much of the cabin was retro with original 60's deco but was so well maintained and clean that they looked brand new! It was like stepping back in time! So fun! Kids loved making s'mores in the fire pit (wood is provided) and we really enjoyed the space to move around and not be on top of each other in the huge great room after being crammed in the car all day! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Just a note about entrance to the park we learned the hard way: There is usually a LONG line to the park entrance before about noon every day so be prepared or start your day a little later or be there around 6 am. Also we found out from shop owners that Monday is the busiest day for park entrance. Had a great trip and fantastic stay at this cabin!

Mike’s property was great! Great location for us to explore Yellowstone-only. Easy to get to and easy to get to the West Entrance (just leave early if you want to beat the crowds in the park). Easy checkin process. The best stocked kitchen of any vacation place we have ever rented. House was super clean. We definitely recommend it for friends headed west for a Yellowstone adventure.

Convenient Access to Tow
This is a tough one. Some aspects of this house were great. The family room, dining room kitchen combo was huge with plenty of seating for all. The bedrooms worked out for the five us. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom I used was large but the shower reminded me of a cruise ship shower. Very low ceiling (i'm 6'5") and difficult to move around in. Gotta wonder for a large house why such a tiny shower. As far a cleanliness, I gave this a house a 3. The interior was a 5 but the outside a 1. The yard was a mess, there's a dumpster practically in the driveway, the back porch furniture was dirty. The patio was not clean. There is a steel drum on the patio for fires, but there was little interest from the group in this because everything was such a mess. We never used the firepit where-as our previous rental it was the focal point of every evening. The house is also located right next to highway 20. Noisy at times. Not that cabin in the woods feeling we were hoping for. Overall a 3 for us.

There is another shower in the front bathroom that you would have been able to use. The dumpster is literally at the end of the driveway on the property line where the trash company wants it and is emptied regularly. This rental is not described as a cabin in the woods and it is very clear on the map where it is located. Not sure why the patio was dirty but it is uncovered and out in the elements. It was cleaned before you were there. Will check into it. Thanks

Excellent Launching Pad for Exploring Yellowstone NP
You really can’t go wrong staying here. Close to Yellowstone NP, lots of room, 3 bathrooms (critical when the kids all need to go at the same time), kitchen gets the job done, and a very clean place to boot. We’re already planning a winter trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Not the best location. Carpet was dirty , seen a few ants wondering on it, garbage container too close to cabin, terrible smells , full of garbage when we arrived , in the dumpster ,patio wasn’t all that clean, open the curtains and neighbors are right there. After trying to communicate with the owner about the WIFI problems, never helped us , actually he stopped helping us , that was his problem when we had 5 other people trying to connect. I wouldn’t recommend this cabin to anyone. Yes , we were late getting out, no mercy, but they had plenty of time for the next residents to have it cleaned and charged us a bundle. Oh well, live and learn . My opinion.

The dumpster is at the end of the driveway on the property line where it is supposed to be according to the garbage company and is regularly emptied. It is covered and one would expect it to smell a bit like garbage😊. Carpet is cleaned after each guest leaves as is the whole house which takes much longer than the two hours you left our cleaner to turn it around before the next guests arrived that day. The WiFi is what the town offers and often the signal is not as good especially when there are a lot of people in the park. We have boosters throughout the house. The house is not in the inner city where WiFi is at its best. And once again, check out time is clearly stated to be 10am. We had to pay our housekeeper extra for her efforts to get it ready so fast. When I finally talked to you, you stated that you forgot what day it was. Live and learn.

Received a phone call in the evening of your second day. The water heater was fixed the following morning. As for bed bug, you were the very first people in our house for the season. You were the very first people to sleep on our brand new mattresses that my husband and I just put in the week before you came. You were the very first people to sleep on these brand new mattresses, so if there are bugs they came in with you. The following guests had no bed bug sightings.

Great Quiet Location away from the main city.
Loved the quiet getaway. The firepit was awesome. Enjoyed nights around a beautiful fire. The owners had plenty of great wood. The property is dated but that is part of the charm. The tv was great we watched movies and relaxed. A great vacation in yellowstone.

Best Way To Do Yellowstone
Had a fantastic stay in Mike's cabin! The perfect amenities for relaxing after long days in Yellowstone. From the firepit and patio; to the kitchen and excellent DVD selection we enjoyed having this very cute cabin as our home base for almost a week. Mike was extremely accomodating and responsive throughout the entire process, and we even got some valuable advice on how to see the park the best from the neighbor who knew the park intimately. Can't recommend this place enough for anyone going to visit the park!

The home is older. But, it was clean and is spacious. The 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths worked out great. Didn't use the kitchen much. We made coffee and tea. Location is very easy to find and convenient to the West entrance of Yellowstone. It's in a quiet area and we enjoyed our stay very much. Communication with Mike was easy and pleasant!
