Its our jam!
We love this little community and this cabin is excellent! It was hot but there are fans plus we brought our own fans too. Great bbq provided too. Perfect so dont have to cook inside when its so hot. Or go across the street to the Red Onion or grocery store. Both have excellent food! We'll be back! Its our jam every summer!

Beautiful Lake Almanor
Charming comfortable cabin—well appointed with large deck and beautiful lake view. We have been coming to Lake Almanor for nearly 15 years and this is our favorite cabin for sure. The owners, Matt and Cheryl are very communicative, kind, and thoughtful. Their cabin is super clean and well cared for. Ideal location as well.

Wonderful lake cabin
My family had a wonderful stay at this property. Cabin has a split layout, kitchen is well stocked and the cabin and property has great amenities. The deck has plenty of room to relax and BBQ. Host went above and beyond for us, helping us when we had a boating problem. We can't wait to book our next stay!

Great visit
This cabin is clean, cozy and has been remodeled. It is fully stocked with everything we need. We appreciate the courtesy and attention to detail. The view and access to the lake is amazing! Great access to Lassen
Had an awesome stay with friends. We used the rental as a home base for hiking over Lassen National Park. Place is alsolocated conveniently near some restaurants and a general store, all within walking distance. Place was clean and beds were comfy. The towels were plush and amazing. Host was great and very communicative.

Perfect cabin setting by the lake
Beautifully done, this cabin like feel 2 bedroom is set close to the lake. Clean and inviting. Private boat ramp and slip on site. All the amenities you typically find, both keureg and drip coffee maker. Outdoor seating on a good size deck, BBQ grill. Hosts were very responsive friendly. Love to keep this place my little secret but others should to enjoy this gem as well.

Love this location - however due to the wildfires not able to make it - owner allowed us to move a little farther out - the fire still raging and don't have any other times we would be able to go this year - asked the owner to move us to next year - he refuses - we did not cancel because we didn't want to go - it is a natural disaster - feel he could have been a little more accommodating.

Laurie, The fires and residual smoke was unfortunate for us all. As you mentioned, I did offer to move your reservation although it seemed nothing would work for you. You were well beyond the refund period although we felt it only fair to refund your most of all you had paid to date minus the VRBO service fee which we have nothing to do with, we are not able to refund their fee. I'm sorry things did not work out for you, we try and work with all our guests as much as possible. Matt

We enjoyed the cabin, and especially the friendliness of the man, Clint, who manages it for the owners. We are especially so impressed with the owners of most of the cabins who so graciously allowed the firefighters their cabins to stay in so they could rest on their time off from fighting the terrible fire going on up there. The world needs more people like that. We felt so safe, and it was so nice to visit with some of the firefighters. It was a very memorable few days for myself and my son. Thank you

A lovely cabin
We have stayed at Lake Almanor peninsula many times. Matt, the property owner, made this trip really wonderful. He is always available for support and questions. The cabin is well appointed and beautifully cared for. We plan to return.

Perfect
What a great cabin in a great area! The cabin was perfect for my husband and I along with my parents. Both bedrooms having their own bathroom is a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you need and the deck is huge with a great bbq. The property is so nice and having the boat dock and launch made it perfect. Matt went above and beyond in communicating with us. Thank you!

Experience to Remember
We love this area of Lake Almanor! These are the most darling cabins! Had everything we needed to meal prep for a family; most meals were enjoyed on the deck amongst the beautiful scenery. Boat doc, ramp & with the convenience of coffee shop/market across the street make this the easiest vaca you’ll every plan for.

Our stay at Matt’s place
Great place. Has a spot on the dock dedicated to your room. Right across from the street from the market and a restaurant and bar. Great place to go for a few days. Kitchen had alll the cooking stuff. We used the grill and ate on the big deck out front. Everyone was welcoming and nice. There were other renters so that’s nice. Had a good time would definitely rent again.

Excellent Spot At Almanor
Matt, the Owner, and I texted before arriving. He’s super helpful and accommodating. Having rented many properties at Almanor, I found this home to be a perfect site for either two couples, a family, and/or friends. My best friend and I found it perfect, we each had separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect! While I wasn’t able to bring my boat, this property has a dock and berths and have been even better had weather permitted. I will definitely be returning. Thanks again Matt for letting us use your well maintained and thoughtfully appointed home!!

Great cabin
We loved staying at this cabin. It was in the perfect location close to a market and restaurant. The cabin had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would love to go back!

Lake Front Living
We had a great time, the cabin was perfect for the three of us. The view was awesome, the weather could not have been better. Fresh air, green lawn and trees, with a view. Cabin had all accessories for home living. First time renting from VRBO, all went well. Owner was very friendly and made our stay seem personable.

Most Relaxed Vacation!
Wow. Our family had the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time at this property. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. There was a small and safe swimming cove that our girls loved, and it was just a short walk from the cabin. We loved being close to a nice little market, coffee shop, and marina! We spent the evenings on the deck together with the lovely view of the lake right there. We are already talking about when we can go back. Thank you, Matt!

Small but efficient
Conveniently located across the street from the market and restaurant. This is more like a bungalow, very small kitchen/living area with uncomfortable futon. The bedrooms are nice with comfortable beds and each its own small bath with shower. The pictures of this property make it seem larger than it actually is. Most rentals we have stayed in have a little supply of pantry items. Not here. Be prepared to bring what you need for meals. The barbecue looks nice but did not work well; the side burner not at all. The porch is adjacent to the common road going down to the lake so there’s not much privacy to speak of. A super accommodating host. We didn’t use the boat slip, but that would be a plus also. Loved Lake Almanor!

Great place and location
Loved the layout and the fact that each bedroom had full bathrooms. The international was not working but Matt arranged to have it fixed before our stay ended. The wrap around deck was a nice feature leaving many options of places to sit and enjoy the views of the lake. Being part of a small private resort with a lawn area and dock makes you feel like you’re in a private cul de sac with friendly neighbors. Very relaxing.

Great Location!!
Very good communication during the rental process. The only negative was that there were some cobwebs. I think getting rid of them would make this property a 5 star property.

Our stay was very nice. Property was as advertised. Great location on the lake and near the market and dining. Access to the boat launch and slip were great. Would stay here again! The only issue during our stay was the internet didn't work. Seems there was an outage while we were there.
