“The room was clean. The staff were so nice. The WiFi and AC were great. This was my first hostel experience and as a trans masc person I was pretty nervous but the staff and environment was lovely! The only thing that irritated me was that we didn’t stay there long enough! My partner and I stayed in San Juan afterwards and we were constantly wishing we were back at the hostel!!! Gracias”

“Had a great stay, breakfast had different options, avena was delicious but wish they had some local Puerto Rican pan sobao or Mallorca. Walking distance from the beach and many local kioskos which was a plus. Overall great location for the north east side of the island, close to El Yunque and Carabali and not too far to make a day trip to San Juan.”

“This was a cute, small and very clean space. The staff were not welcoming upon arrival with greetings or a little tour of the place. We did see other people get a welcome and a tour. They keep their pool towels in a back room that you have to ask for; they were very concerned the towels do not go to the beach even though they "check" one towel out to each person and keep a very close eye on their towels. “La struttura è bella pero' i ristoranti offrono tutti un menu molto simile ( escludendo quello italiano che ha tutti i piatti scritti in modo scorretto e non invita certo un' italiana come me a provarli , chiedere 80 dollari a persona e non verificare nemmeno il nome dei piatti non è una buona pubblicita'). “Otium was very responsive. The three bedrooms and full/queen sized beds were clean and comfortable. There were a few issues with the water pressure but I’ve come to expect that throughout the Caribbean. When needed, Walmart was about 15 mins away and the ferry was a short drive as well. My only real complaint were the barking dogs nearby. The smaller yappy dog barking at 2am really killed the relaxing sounds of the rainforest and woke me up repeatedly. “The hotel is beautiful. Very big and has everything you need for comfortable vacation. Rooms are not spotless but not too bad. One problem was they didn’t have hot water in the shower. Out of 6 days we had only 2 days of hot water. Pools are very nice. Parking is easy. Staff is helpful. I wish there was a beach right by the hotel instead of fairy taking you to the island. Overall it was a wonderful experience.”
