“Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street. “We stayed in a 4‑bedroom, 2‑bathroom dorm unit at Mount Saint Vincent. It was spacious, clean, and a decent price for what you got. Each bedroom was basic but comfortable, and having two bathrooms made mornings much easier. The location is a bit outside downtown Halifax (about 15‑20 minutes by car), so plan for that if you don't have a vehicle. Parking was fine. Overall, a solid budget option for a group or family. Not fancy, but good value.”

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“I truly appreciate the fact that while other hotels increase their rates during the spring/summer season, Future Inn keeps their rates affordable! Great staff, always clean and comfortable facilities, the restaurant that serves delicious food! It is the ONLY place we stay at when we come to Halifax! Thank you!”

“Very cool restored hotel, rooms are quite small as an older hotel, however well maintained. Try and get an outside room overlooking the gardens as interior rooms all look at the mechanical on a lower roof.”

“This was a wonderful stay! The owners are incredibly helpful and fast to respond. They have created a beautiful space in a convenient location of Halifax. It was so easy to walk around the town and I always felt safe! They also created a website with recommendations, suggestions and information which was so incredibly helpful! We tried a few spots they recommended and they were great. I highly recommend this place to everyone! If we come back to Halifax we will stay here again!!!!”
