“Got a room that was supposed to have sea view but we only got the horizon part as the lower view was obscured by another block (but only 2 storey). Apart from the above, Lone Pine is a superb resort for those who love basking under the shades of tropical trees and pines too, has well maintained and clean facilities, enjoying the serenity of Batu Ferringhi. Food (breakfast) and drinks were very good too. The play room has large TV screen and we actually stayed up till 1am to watch Champions'...

“Firstly, let me start by saying we were staying as a couple and didn’t realise it was the school holidays in south east Asia, so this definitely colours my review. The pool area looked amazing when we arrived, but the entire time we were there it was completely crowded with kids - who were having an amazing time and it’s definitely a great resort for families. For us, it was so noisy, overcrowded and you couldn’t get an alcoholic drink until 3pm… and even then, there never seemed to be anyone...

“Have been to Bayview beach hotel before as met our daughter there and found it to be very nice and staff friendly. Location ideal as you can catch 101 bus into George Town and buses run about every 15 minutes for less than £1”

“Bed was comfy! Location is very convenient as there are bus stops, restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance. 1 thing tho we finished our glass bottle of water in the room but it was not refilled the next day. Probably need to request for it to be refilled. ”

“The staff were very helpful at the property. The view is stunning and I really loved the area. The room is basic and very clean. They provided 2 small bottles of water which is great when you just arrive. There is a chair and table in the room. 2 towels. No kettle or mini fridge. Just toilet roll and shower gel. It's fine for what it is. However it is in a building with a kareoke place and the music (especially base is heavy) you can't sleep until it stops around 3am. I stayed 2 nights and the...
