Hotel vicino a Fort Pulaski National Monument - Savannah

“Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel. The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck.”

“The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place.”

“Air conditioning and shower was great. Room was quiet, not a lot of outside noise. Could not use television without entering our own information. No workable USB ports for charging devices.”

“We booked a family suite to have more space. Our tv did not work, the sink would not drain, the sofa was so filthy that I took one of the extra bedspreads off an unused bed to cover it. The office staff tried to get the tv working and after lots of plunging the sink remained clogged. The office staff moved us to a smaller room. The sink immediately clogged in it but after we requested a plunger, we got it working. The pictures are not accurate. The building, furniture, and fixtures are...

“We had two gigantic cockroaches in our room. We packed up and immediately left. The front desk offered an “engineer” to take a look at the room or change rooms. We left immediately. The building and rooms were very run down, and way overpriced for what the building was.”

“The pool was closed for renovations, but you can see there is no work been done, water has been dirty for long time. It was supposed to he a smoke free environment and in the hallway was a smell of Marijuana you couldn't stand it. Smoke alarm in room was missing cap and you can see the cables. You can tell for the whole 3 nights we stayed, they did not sweep or blow the sidewalk on the back entrance. Back entrance door sign reads, " for your safety this door is to remain locked at all times use...

“The hotel was great for the price paid during Memorial Day Weekend. Hotel rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable, location was convenient.”

“I liked the fact that the staff was very helpful. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay such a high deposit before I could get my room. Then you only get two sets of towels it was three of us. Overall I did us the laundry facilities and I liked having a decent kitchen for the kids. The parking lot floods so dont park in the middle, I had to swim to my car, the water was up to my doors.”

“Staff was nice, but the room smelt like mildew, there were burn holes on the sheets, and right before we were about to go to bed we found a ROACH on the pillow. We checked out in the middle of the night and went to a hotel instead. The stairs also were easy to trip on as the metal pieces on the edges of them were peeling up... Never coming back here”

“Older property, like most properties in Savannah. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. The Live Oak Canopy room was nice. We had our own covered deck with pool view and the grand oak tree! It is pay parking , unless you’re lucky enough to get street parking.”

“Staff at check-in and check out were rude. No sign on door stating no pets were allowed in this area. My dog was carried the entire time but staff were super critical and hyper focused on her presence. Talking to us in a condescending way. The pet fee was $90. Won't stay here again.”
