Hotel a Kimball

“Very nice staff. Very small king room. Bathroom extremely small with a child height toilet. We stayed at this hotel several times years ago when it was a Best Western. Rooms were nice with ample room and decent sized bathrooms. The room we had this time was in a different area than where we had been in the past. If this had been our first visit, it would have been our last. Also not a very good breakfast selection. If you're looking for a hot meal, forget it.”

“Great place to stay the night. Had some trouble with accidentally booking two rooms. Front desk gave me the information on how to get refunded and I was refunded promptly.”

“This place has a huge tv with lots of choices, even premium channels. The bed was okay with lots of pillows. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The breakfast I was told is very continental…toast, waffle, cereal.”

“The room was adequate , nothing fancy, but TV was difficult to get working, and no instructions. However, the breakfast was horrible, unless you're a big fan of honeybuns and yogurt for breakfast. Ugh.”

“The lobby was clean, nothing special but clean enough. Our room was so stuffy and smelled like urine it was terrible. Wish we could open the windows and let some of that TN air in. Breakfast was nothing special, typical for this type of hotel. We spent two night there so we survived but if this was a longer trip I would have definitely looked for other place to move to. The smell was just unbearable.”

“The back door did not lock. Did not see much as far as security cameras especially at back door. I moved my vehicle around to the front overnight because I did not feel safe leaving it in the back lot. Trashcan by back door overstuffed and smelled like dead fish with a spent syringe laying on the ground next to it. The inside was nice and clean but looked like the outside needed some major attention.”

“Bathroom had mold growing on sink. Bedspreads had cigarette burns in them. Carpet stained. Breakfast area and lobby were clean & neat. Booked a 3 night stay but true to unforseen circumstances as well as condition of room needed to check out 1 day early. Gave over 24 hour notice but still charged for 3rd night. Would not recommend”

“Non-smoking room had cigarette burn marks all over the bathroom. We purchased this location because I had a pool but they decided to open the pool later so it wasn’t even available. The room was completely worn down and in bad shape with sheets, thin comforter. The garbage can outside our door was overfilled to the point we had fruit flies in our room. The icemaker was extremely dirty, which we feel is what made us very sick. Extremely disappointed in Howard Johnson for the quality of this...

“The staff are wonderful. The property is dated with some improvements to the rooms. The rooms were clean and the beds were fine. A perfect place to stop to rest before moving on.”
