Hotel a Spencer

“Everything worked in the room, the snack/ breakfast area was available all day and kept up, the shower had great pressure and volume, and all of the staff that I encountered were all polite and spoke English. We stayed in multiple hotels during this trip and this was the best, easily, without any hesitation or doubt.”

“Overpriced for the quality of the room. It was clean-ish, had an odd odor, tiny tv with no remote, breakfast is included is the basic cereal/toast/waffle maker-no other hot food served.”

“Upon check in there was a sign at the front desk to let guests know that the pool and hot tub were not working. There was no indication when it would be reopening and it did not open during the two night weekend stay that I was there. The in room TV did not work, either. Staff did not replace it although they weee notified. Not sure what the problem was. There were literally four cars in the parking lot the entire stay. This hotel is under new ownership. “We were early arriving and checked to see about what time we could check in. It was 1030 AM and we fully understood that we would need to return at a later time for check in. There were two cars in the whole parking lot on a Friday. We were told to return after 200 PM and did. (minor annoyance) The desk operation was fine regretfully Room 122 smelled of cigarette smoke and was supposed to be non-smoking. “You might as well go somewhere cheaper where you can actually use some of the amenities. What’s the point of being the most expensive hotel if you get absolutely nothing for it? I knew there was no breakfast whatever but now they don’t include more than a couple water park passes per room and you have to pay EVERY day now instead of once for the whole stay. “We loved our stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and they kept the coffee coming. The grounds are gorgeous. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. We had a lovely experience.”
