“very romantic with lots of character”

Cute and adorable lobby. Great complimentary breakfast. Good location. junior suite was beautiful. Loved the Italian decor and balcony overlooking the canal. Standard room on first floor was soooo small that we had to upgrade. It was barely large enough for the bed. Bed was not very comfortable. Bathroom amenities were fantastic. Very clean, good service Would definitely return and recommend

“Great staff & location!”

Location is convenient to the traghetto stop along with a main tourist are, but far enough removed not to be a nuisance. The staff was great with directions, suggestions and overall friendliness. My only complaint would be the bed, which was two singles put together for a double and only two thin pillows. I would stay again, but ask for additional pillows.

“A must-stay”

We came for the Art Biennale. Very friendly and supportive staff. Superb room service and really generous breakfast. The room was a bit "echo-y" but well-equipped and nicely decorated. Very good location - quiet and yet central, near shopping places, restaurants and palazzi. Would definitely come back and recommend any time.

“Hotel fulfilled our expectations”

A small hotel, away from the maddening crowds, but near enough to the main attractions. Only a 10 minute walk to the water bus stop with frequent 'buses' to either end of the Grand Canal. As with any hotel, be sure to establish which room/s you are booking as we were very pleased but some guests receiving small rooms were not. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and most spoke good English. The overall costs of the short break were pretty expensive despite receiving a very good early season accommodation price. We took the road bus from the airport to the main bus station. 3£ Euros each and very good value. From there a water taxi to the hotel cost 70 Euros, but now being an experienced Expedia traveller we could have taken the water bus and a short walk for a fraction of this. Being new to organising our own holiday, the support from Expedia was always prompt, helpful and understanding. I would do it again!

“Lovely!”

Venice was our first stop on our travels around Italy and definately one of our favourites! The hotel was part of this - even though we stayed for such a short time the staff, hotel and area made a very good impression. The location was great, it was just off the main walk but not dark and dinngie or off in the middle of nowhere (the main hum of the place is a few steps away), it is on a very small canal which really gives you a sense of the place you are in a soon as you step out the door. Everything including St Marks Sq is in walking distance (10 mins), it probably takes longer to catch the waterbus (although this is quite fun for a one-off). The staff were really welcoming - they made sure we were happy and comfortable and happy to answer any questions we had. And the breakfast was great - not a boring continental (bacon, omelette, toast, fruit, yogurt, pastries etc) :) I would definately stay here again and recommend it to people, we only stayed a short time but even if your staying longer it's a great place (we had the smallest room available and it was lovely).

“A charming hotel in Venice.”

The hotel was in a lovely quiet location yet minutes from the main tourist attractions. The room was compact but beautifully decorated and cleaned every day. Breakfast was good and I would stay again on my next visit.

“Plan to stay there next time”

The hotel is small, like a bed and breakfast. It was very comfortable, with 24-hour front desk service. We were there five nights, and it felt like home, they took such good care of us. I couldn't believe the value for Venice. The historic Ca' Vendramin house is quite impressive, and they have renovated it tastefully. Breakfast, and the coffee, was great. We had a standard room, which is small, but was fine for two of us. I have stayed in much smaller rooms in Europe. They have some very nice larger rooms, and are developing additional ones. Our room was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was air-conditioned. My only complaint is that our room had only a tiny shower. We were just off the main walk to all of the tourist attractions, and it was easy to get everywhere. We plan to stay here again when we come back to Venice.

“Great Place to Stay”

We were arguably in the worst room in the hotel, first floor, right next to the door, and super small (hilariously so). With that said, I'd still recommend staying here. The room was very clean and the staff more the helpful. The breakfast is top notch, and this is a great central location in Venice.
