Posizione eccezionale, indicazioni per raggiungerlo efficaci e realistiche. Stanza (2 letti) eccessivamente piccola, ma silenziosa e pulita. Reception secondo il turno (per avere un'indicazione sono dovuto tornare in camera a prendere la guida di Venezia, a causa del numero limitato a disposizione della Reception. Prima colazione gradevole.

“Well Located, Great 3 Star place, and Friendly Staff”

Bring your instructions on how to get there with you. The Hotel Staff were very friendly, and even arranged a free shuttle to Murano Island. They arrange this with any guest. The room furniture there is Art - Deco, which we did not mind at all. Breakfast was ok, but you need to get there early, as things were not re-filled when we were there. Location was really good, as it is in between St Marco Square, and Rialto Bridge. Will stay here again if we travel to Venice again.

“Awesome Place to Stay!”

I have always wanted to go to Venice and was NOT disappointed! The Hotel Canaletto was an amazing hotel!! Our room faced the canal, and we did have to go up a couple flights of stairs, but they were wide and easy to ascend. The hotel porter took our bags up to our room for us - excellent service! Our room was decorated with delicate floral designs (door knobs, drawer handles, cupboards and doors), and the light fittings were authentic Murano glass! Bathroom facilities were very modern, water pressure great, and everything was super clean! We found all the hotel staff to be extremely pleasant and very helpful. We asked about local sights, eateries (outside the hotel), best local places to shop, and their responses were amazingly helpful! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone of any age!

“Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay At Hotel Canaletto”

I chose this hotel on the strength of the majority of positive reviews on expedia & trip advisor, also taking on board the contents of the negatives. The Hotel is in a really great location to easily access everything you'll want to see or do in Venice. We were warmly greeted and the staff in general were pleasant and helpful with anything we wanted help with. In our case extra pillows and directions & tripsadvice The hotel & our room was nicely decorated, very clean and had an great quality bathroom, bedding was also perfectly laundered. The breakfast was a buffet style fruit, cereals, breads, meats pastries juices, no cooked breakfast but very nice nonetheless.. Some of the negative reviews mentioned security and the disliking of handing over passports to be checked and handing in room keys on each exit from hotel but this didn't cause us any problems whatsoever & there didn't appear to be a lack of security. Our luggage remained safe when left there on our last day for 11hrs. As for the review that mentioned bites from something, I'd say probably mosquitoes if you open the windows overnight but that'd be all. I think fault can be found in most places but you'd have to look quite hard for it here & I'd highly recommend a visit. to the Canaletto.

would recomend superior room loads of space, good bottle of cava ready in the room on arrival, great location, easy to get around all the sights as the metro is right on the doorstep

“Four star hotel in Venice”

Hotel Canaletto is near San Lio Church, in the heart of Venice. The Rialto Bridge is 220 yards away.Piazza San Marco is within walking distance. The hotal has 38 elegant rooms. An excellent breakfast is provided by the hotel. It is in a very good location for sightseeing. The english speaking staff was very helpful. The room was realy large by European standards. It was was very clean. If handicap accessibility is an issue you need to find an alternate choice. This is a challenge all over the city of Venice because of the canals and numbeous bridges which need to be traversed to see the various attractions. It was a very enjoyable stay.

“EXCELLENT HOTEL”

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and would recommend anyone stay here. The location is fantastic, and is only a 5 minute walk from the Rialto. This is also very close to St Marks (no more than 10 minutes). The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are clean, bathrooms are small but that is to be expected. Decent breakfeast buffet, with AMAZING coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to book a room here, it is great.

“Taste of venice”

The hotel is an older style, but very tastefully done - our room was large enough for two bags and the bathroom surprisingly generous for Europe. The location is great if you want to be central, without being on a noisy busy thoroughfare. Infact there was a delightful restaurant in a quiet square just around the corner, which was a great retreat from the full on bustle of San Marco. The staff were very friendly ( and even carried my bag up the stairs - there's no lift) and breakfast was basic but fresh. They stored our bags on our last day and provided a bathroom to freshen up in, which was much appreciated. Wi-fi was only free for 30mins but the ongoing charges were very low.
